[Q] Interchange GS3 and GS3 Mini Battery

Hello Guys,
Just wanted to know if it's possible to use the GS3 battery in the GS3 Mini? I have an GS3 Mini and I'm kinda curious if the battery of the GS3 will fit the mini. It'll be cool to have a larger batt for the mini.

I don't have either, but seeing the GS3's battery is larger is terms of dimensions, it won't fit.

It seems that battery from samsung galaxy ace 2 is the same as in S3 mini. You can choose 1700 mAh battery already in ebay for ace 2 as well as for s3 mini

Yes, it works at normal speed, AFAIK, or, at least, I'm not noticing any slowness.
I have both the Nexus and the Note 2 and usually mix the cables.

[Q] ? SM-G730A 2000mah battery for I8190 ?

ok so just now i had a look of the AT&T S3 Mini specs over at www.samsung.com and saw that it is listed as having a 2000mah battery, yet the phone dimensions of the new model are a little bit smaller than the ones on the I8190. So would it be possible to put the 2000mah battery from the SM-G730A into my I8190, which originally has just a 1500mah battery (i have a 1700mah one from the Ace 2, but i want more ).
And please don't tell me that there are external chargers, extended batteries or stuff like that. I know about those things, but don't wanna add bulkness to my phone or to be forced to always carry the external charger with me

I don't have that phone but as long as it fits, connectors and voltage the same you can use it.
I did this before with my Galaxy W since the shop I went didn't have my exact model.
Or you can buy same size 3rd-party battery that claims 2000mah (I am using one), but I think the numbers are overated. I didn't feel the 2000mah battery last longer than original one.

can you give a link to such a battery 'cause i can't seem to find it on the net? BTW my 1700mah battery just stopped charging to 100% from yesterday (only goes to 96 max and then stops). Not that it's a big deal, but 4% is 4% (about 4 hours stand-by time).

Hello gyus
I recently found a Samsung Galaxy S2 plus but isnt working I cant turn it on but when i contact the charger it wakes up for a moment and dies again :crying:
What can be the reasons ?

Sounds like you should put it back in the trash where you found it.
Bad usb connector, probably. You could try an external charger to charge the battery.

First of all, this forum is for discussing the Gear 1 (SM-V700) smartwatch and not about the Galaxy S2 !
Secondly, have you tried using an original charger and USB cable ? Not all chargers work correctly and same for USB cables.
Or you could try, like said already, to charge the battery with an external charger.
Or you can try another battery, maybe yours is defective.
Or..
Or..
Or..
There is so much you can try, but you didn't mention at all what you have tried already.

I'm in agreement with speedme about posting in the wrong place.... However, lol, I'm an s2 owner and have had a similar problem. Trying getting a pin and cleaning out all the fluff from the charge port, then bend the charge connector very gently towards the screen.
