Hey, I have a rooted stock v10h and a strange problem occures when I'm full charging the phone. Firstly it goes till 100% and then +without any usage+ falls to 94% and stays there(doesn't go to 100% again)
I've tried a lot of battery calibration apps and nothing helped.
Also when turn it off and charge it, it charges very quickly with something like fake charge. Because when I use it after it looses all the percentage very very fast!
Thanks!

I had this problem too, but I discovered it wasn't related to the battery, but to USB cable..Have you tried to charge the phone with another cable? I definitely solved the problem by this way

I'm getting pretty bad battery life on nightly 21, so I checked out the battery stats.
It is showing the system as awake constantly, even when the screen is off, and in airplane mode. I'm using tasker, as I did on the last ROM, but even with it disabled, the system is always awake.
Any suggestions?

I was reading is a new update for the nightly's, so I'm going to see if it still a problem after that. But I would still appreciate some input from anyone here. This battery life isn't going to work for me.

you want to try BetterBatteryStats?

Could help you find out what drains the battery.
Help! My screen randomly lights up partial on its own, when I mean partially I mean the screen is off but the backlight is on and stays on until I press the power button. This happened before and I was told that LiteFlow was probably the cause of it, causing wakelocks, so I uninstalled it and I've not noticed it since. Then suddenly the last few days I've noticed it happen again, I've got betterbatterystats installed and I've been keeping an eye on the wakelocks, nothing stands out!
Is anyone else having this same issue?

This happens due to low battery mode. If it is enabled, once the battery reaches the % mentioned for it to deactivate, the brightness kicks in and keeps the phone on and not on standby.
Example : your battery is at 3% and the low battery mode is set at 5%. As soon as the battery charge hits the 5%. We face the issue.

You are right, I've watched it over last few weeks and it only happens when low battery mode is enabled. Let's hope Sony address this and fix it!

Hi guys, I've moved from stock GB to cm10 and then Mackay.
In both cases my sgs battery charge indicator never goes above 96% after a full charge (plugged in up to 8 hours!!!).
When I was on stock GB it was always correctly charging up to 100%...
Does anybody know how to solve this anomaly?
Thank you!

I read something about for I9001..
Do you charge in power-off mode? You should try to do like that, then turn on the phone, re-join it to the battery charger, wait for the 100% and a quarter of hour after unplug the phone. In that way the battery should reset.
Alternative way is downloading an app from the store to re-calibrate the battery. Search on market like 'battery'

I've been having the battery drain since I installed the rom.
I've been charging my phone with a 2 amp charger.
Could that be the issue?Or is it a software problem?
I'm running CM11 0131 nightly . and the device runs hot.
There's a screenshot attachment if you need it.
Thanks :good:

Hello everyone.
So, I upgraded to KitKat (duh!) Loving all the new features.
But... After having used j-team aosp for a while my phone wouldn't give me proper battery readings:
Phone would say that the battery is charging even though it's not.
Phone would say that battery is at 100% even though it's not and it would later on (randomly) switch to some other value closer to the real value and decrease very quickly.
Phone does not recognise it's charging and instead displays the same value all the time.
Now, I can make it work OK if I reboot the phone, but it's really a bit of a hassle.
This same issue is present even after I switched to TC CM11 so I'm not sure it's rom-related (did all the wipes of course!!) but at the same time my boyfriend had the same issue when he installed cm11 on stock jb, so I don't think it's phone related.
I tried a couple of battery calibration apps with no avail.
Any suggestions...?
Thanks in advance!

Do couple full charge and discharge and see what happen. It is like that when you change ROM, my fist charge on new CM11 gave me half day of use, but 2-3 charge was fine.
Well, the thing is, I've been using cm11 for more than a month now. I'm sure the battery has had enough time to settle!
