GPU overclocking?

Hi there,
I recently got a Galaxy Tab P1000 (the one that suppports 3G).
Now since I'm a very big fan of CM I'd like to install it.
I already have Clockwork Mod Recovery so I just have to transfer the CM10 build and gapps and I'm all set.
Now the most important thing for me is GPU overclocking for games, xbmc and of course to keep the UI lag at a minimum.
So there are a few builds of available.
Android 4.1.2:
CyanogenMod 10 Nightly Builds by cdesai: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1871113
Android 4.2.1:
CM10.1 build based on SGT7 by Alroger: http://cafe-ti.blog.br/1956~cm10-1-sgt7-p1000.html
CyanogenMod 10.1 Experimental Builds by cdesai: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2032726
CM10.1 SGT by HumberOS: http://www.humberos.com.br/
Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.1?:
Paranoid Android 2.53 by henryedwardrose: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747128
The above builds seem most popular.
I know the CM10.1 builds have broken bluetooth and some minor rotation bugs I can live with.
But which one does support GPU overclocking and is most fluent?
Also what application must I use to achieve this, setcpu maybe?
Thanks

I took the journey last week from Froyo on my tab p1000 to ICS. I am on AOKP ICS milestone #6. I also tried GPU overclocking as AOKP ROM supports it. but dont expect miracles. To read about my experience, I have already posted in detail on my blog singaporeanipaduser.blogspot.com. Based pn the smartbench 2011 benchmark, my Tab came in at only 894 for the Productivity index and 2091 for the Games index. After overclocking the CPU from 1Ghz to 1.2Ghz, the scoring improved to 1019 for the Productivity index and no significant change for the Games index(~2034). After bringing back the CPU to default, the GPU was overclocked from 200Mhz to 320Mhz. This time, the Productivity index registered 897 while the Games index improved slightly to 2118. The overclocking options are available on the AOKP ICS ROM in the Performance Tweaks section under Settings.

AOSP 4.2.2 Kernel with OTG support

Hi guys
due to the fact that there is no stable cyanogenmod 10.2, I'm using 10.1.3 right now.
So, is there an AOSP kernel for Android 4.2.2 with OTG support?
I actually flashed teamseven's kernel, but it does not support OTG and other AOSP kernels I saw were set up for 4.3.
Thanks, kind regards.

Hello everyone After selling my xperia u I got this cellphone which is At&T branded .... I was running gingerDX on my xperia x8 a long time ago then I installed some custom roms on xperia U as well after unlocking it's bootloader and installing custom kernels etc. I sold xperia U as it was a bit slow for me....
Now the question I want to ask is : what are some good roms (without any bugs) fast and stable for this cellphone ? right now I'm on Android 4.1.1 official ... is it good enough if I only root it or should I go for a custom kernel / Rom and what is the easiest method to root it ?

Arrgh kernel for photon Q LTE works for our phone too, best and only(?) custom kernel we have besides N8 (only for 4.2.2 ROMs). Carbon, CM 10.2, PACman, and HoloBlur are my personal best experiences with this phone.

Carbon 4.3 nighlies by far the best and most stable

As for rooting and unlocking bootloader plus flashing a custom recovery, the Myth Tools program for Atrix HD has all those 3 things wrapped into one easy executable.

ignore this.
Thank Neighbor808 if you provide 2, 3 links for roms and the link to kernel I'll be thankful to you.. as I don't want to risk anything here as I'm new to Motorola world
Generally, look for files under mb886. Anyways, here ya go.
CM: http://get.cm/?device=mb886
Carbon: http://goo.im/devs/carbon/mb886/nightly
PACman: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2398627
HoloBlur (Stock based): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2356624
Argh Kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31708952
Make sure you get CM 10.2 kernel for non stock based. Don't flash the kernel of the date of your nighty is later than the kernel (Oct 2 so far). It gets updated regularly.

I can't figure out which kernel to download ASA / FFW ? I've downloaded Oct 2 version of carbon ROM, any thread with it's screenshots and features etc ?
Please also tell in which sequence I should do the procedure ? like : root > recovery > Unlock Bootloader > kernel and then rom ?
Root, unlock bootloader, recovery, backup current rom, wipe data and system, flash rom then kernel.

Deeje is spot on. As for which kernel to download, Post #2 contains the kernels for STOCK or Stock-based ROMs. All of the ROMs I linked to you are CM-Based except for HoloBlur, which is stock based (but it already comes with Arrgggh kernel so don't worry about that). The thread clearly states:
ASA-36 (Original 4.0.4 ICS firmware)
ASA-14 (Final 4.0.4 ICS firmware)
FFW-5 (Latest 4.1.2 JB firmware)
Pretty much the only stock kernel you're ever going to need unless you fastboot flash back to ICS is FFW-5.
Post #5 contains the kernels for CM-Based ROMs (Pretty much all the ROMs out there that aren't stock based). The CM 10.1 Kernel is for Android Version 4.2.2 ROMs, while the CM 10.2 kernel is for Android Version 4.3 ROMs. If you are flashing Carbon October 2 nightly, that is Android 4.3, so you will flash the CM 10.2 edition.
Here's links for the standalone posts to make sure you know where you're going...

CM Kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31717152&postcount=5
By the way, check Atrix HD Development section, has all of our ROMs + screenshots and explains features.
Thanks alot homie this explains everything now tell me some good features of Carbon / Pacman Roms so I consider flashing ?
Carbon is basically CyanogenMod with some great Paranoid Android features added in (like Halo, PIE, navbar customization, etc.) . Smooth, reliable, great battery. PACman is a combination of 3 popular ROMs (Paranoid Android, AOKP, CyanogenMod) and has pretty much every feature you can think of. Highly customizable, but has a few minor bugs and slightly worse battery. Carbon is more stable but not by a whole lot.

Can I flash latest carbon nightly builds if my kernel date is earlier?

Yes, you can. Just take latest kernel currently - Oct 23 2013 CM10.2 and latest Carbon rom from here (*Currently there are some problems on goo.im*) or here.
Kernel and rom date should be close as possible to avoid problems.
If there will be newer kernel then it might not work if rom is older than kernel but even then if there are any problem you can just re-flash earlier kernel. Although you don't really have to mess with kernel at first. Carbon actually come with a working kernel (latest build have mattmanwrx kernel) but it doesn't support overclocking/undervolting.
Ohh, and don't forget to flash gapps if you need them..
Thanks mate... for me most stable versions of kernel and roms are : 7 oct 2013..... I don't want to change them untill something really big comes out....I don't like overclocking as ATRIX HD is fast enough already with or even without pureperformance mod but I see battery improvements via that mod or maybe that's "Greenify" app that I'm using...

[Q] Paranoid android custom kernel

What is a good kernel that supports DT2W for Paranoid Android?
I've done tons of looking on the web but opinion is divided. Some have said Elementalx even though i know this is only made for sense and GPE. Others have said any CM kernel will work?
I'm currently running Teamseven which is CM and everything works except from DT2W.
Any suggestions?

[Q] Is latest CM12.1 Snapshot stable enough?

Hello everyone,
I've always liked CM and the different features it offers, so I was planning to flash latest Snapshot since I would like to use it as my daily driver. What's your experience with it? Any major bugs? Is it stable enough? Or should I consider something else, such as Xposed + some modules (such as GravityBox)? I'm currently running latest stock build 5.1 (LPE23.32-14.2).
Thanks for your help.
The latest snapshot isn't bad, but I've had more success with the nightlies simply because they have patches that haven't made it into the snapshot builds yet. I'd say try out a couple nightlies and just stick with one that doesn't have any issues for you.

Could you recommend any nightly in particular to begin with?
I'm on the 10/25 nightly and haven't run into any major issues yet.
