Hi, does anyone know how to screen mirroring sense based rom with Sony smart tv? I can't seem to connect to my tv. I saw one youtube video, the uploader can connect with samsung tv using wifi-direct. Before this im using GPE rom and I can mirror it easily without any issue because there is an option in display setting for screen mirroring. Or if have any other alternative for it? I can't stay long on GPE rom because I missed Sense Camera and as for 4.4.2 rom, Sense camera cannot be port to GPE rom. And from what I've read, I need to buy HTC Media link to accomplish this. So, any suggestion without using HTC Media Link?

Rooted my phone and installed Cyanogenmod (the latest version) a few days ago. I fell in love with the theme and don't want to switch back to stock.
However I really miss the Sense TV app, not only for the IR blaster, but the whole TV guide thing where it shows a recommended list and touch on shows/movies So such apps like universal remotes won't cut it.
Does anyone have the apk for the sense tv app, or an alternate with the same experience?

Sorry the TV app is for sense based roms only. Cyanogenmod doesn't support IR blaster (yet).
That's what makes it a [REQUEST], right?

That's what makes it a [REQUEST], right? This is a pretty big hardware feature to just not support....or is this being looked at differently by others?
I've been using Smart IR Blaster, but regretfully it doesn't record any more. :crying:
Consider this a second request.
Hi everybody,
yesterday I have the Paranoid Android Rom installed. As I sat down today in front of my TV and my HTC One wanted to use as a remote control, I noticed that the TV app is gone. It is logical that it is up to the Rome.
Can I install the HTC Sense TV app?
If it is possible could someone send me the apk?

This is normal as PA is built off of AOSP and not Sense so you will lose all Sense apps and apks. Find a different app to use

To add to what z said - the HTC Sense TV app relies heavily on Sense Framework, so just taking the APK and trying to install it won't work. There are other IR apps available (SmartRemote, One Remote to Rule them All, etc), but unfortunately there are not currently any apps that include a guide feature as well, just remote.
I'd suggest smart remote and get the tvguide app. Smart remote will work on roms that don't use the ir patch it will ask for root permission but it has been the most reliable for me

Hello everyone! First post here on XDA.
I have been looking everywhere to find a solution to mirror my i9305 CM11 nightly (Android 4.4.4)-phone to my Philips Miracast smartTV. Some say it's Triangle away, to set the counter to zero, some say it's the libpatch in /system/lib/. I have also tried Mirror.apk by Koushik Dutta but nothing will work. I love CM but this is feature that i really miss since both my phone and TV supports miracast. So how should I proceed to get this to work?
AND is it possible to download samsungs AllShare Cast app anywhere?
Thanks in advance!
Hi guys I've searched for this but haven't found anything on it really. Is there an app or an xposed module that will allow me to share my screen to a DLNA compatible renderer. For instance I want to see everything I'm doing on by phone via my Xbox through bubbleupnp?
Is this possible? Thanks guys
Edit: I assume it is possible since kit kat allows screen record and bubbleupnp already allows audio cast. Same concept just video instead of audio

Hi, i have been reading but could not find an explanation nor a fix for this.
Since CM based 12.1 roms, screen casting to my chromecast suddenly stoped working, now i own a Nvidia Shield TV and i have The same issue. I have upgrated to recent oficial CM 13 to test but The problem still persist. I have tried from The official ChromeCast/Home app an also from The Send Screen tile In notification bar.
With other stock non rooted phones i tested worked just fine as it should. I rather use a custom rom than stock debloated firmware.
If anyone has it working with a CHROMECAST device/receiver please share your setup: ROM/gapps/root method if any.
NOTE: I dont want to use other cast devices or my TV's native wireless screen mirror feature, so please stay on topic and reply only if you have a Chromecast or Android TV device. Thanks!
