Hello,
I got my friend his Samsung Galaxy i9070 here with a password he can't remember.
I tried to reset the phone with the volume up + homebutton + on/off button way and the Odin with pit file and re-partition option checked.
But afterwards it was still asking for a password..
Any ideas?

Try to do factory reset from menu. I think that you did not do it right in recovery? You did factory reset or you cleared cache?

Wat exactly option you seen in rcovery?
Can you post pic of recovery?
And are you sure you are in recovery mode?
Switch off device
Press Home + Vol up + Power
release power once you see samsung logo
now you will have few option and select wipe data (select with vol up/down)
enter choice with Home if you are on GB/ power if you are on ICS
I can't do anything at this point. What I can see is on the picture. Before that I just press volume up + power and home, from there factory reset, wipe everything and this is how I came to what you can see on the picture. Any suggestions

Definitely a job for Odin and a lesson learned not to set password while drunk
Hi my phone is unuseable now...
Everytime the messege Sorry! The process android.process.acore has stpped. Try again pops up.
I can't (or just don't now how to) enter recovery.
I also can't go to settings because the message pops up every 2 seconds.
When I click Force Close it goes back to the launcher.
Can I do a factory reset (I think it is solved then)?
How do I do that?

Thanks but that's the problem because when I want to enter the menu I get that message and when I press Force Close it sends me back to the launcher. I get that message every second so I cant go to settings.
I'm rather sure you only have Recovery if you installed CWM. Than just press power long and select it from that menu.

Thanks but I dind't have installed CWM yet. If i press power long it'll just boot and shut down and boot again (because it is forced power off during the boot)...
Press volume - (not +) button and power button same time for a while...you get into factory reset mode...
then you can have options and proceed

Thank you but it just boots wheb I try that. Can't I do something with s/w update or mass storage?
There might be simpler ways but that will help definitly http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21472502&postcount=1
A simple Factory Reset would probably be enough but when you can't do it.
i think there is factory reset in secret menu
try 3845#*970#

No other way that i know of since ob doesn't has some hard reset button combination
Try turning off and repairing via lg software

What ROM do you have installed? A stock one, or a custom ROM?
Infact in both ways you can do a factory reset by:
Plug in USB cable, enable usb debugging (if you have a custom ROM, it always should be on),
download the adb package from my noob how to (see attachments)
cd to the directory containing the adb files, type:
adb reboot recovery
Now you either are in CWM and can do the wipes 1 by 1, or if you have a stock ROM, it will perform
a factory reset right away
If all of that doesnt work, you have to use smartflashtool!

It's running the stock ROM and I thought USB debugging was disabled.
Can't I put firmware on a sd card that will flash automatically without recovery or going into the menu?

Adb commands but it's really risky. I wouldn't try to flash with a broken power button.

What do you want to do exacly? If you want to do a factory reset you can do it form setting menu, power on your phone go to settings> Privacity Settings (or something similar) and do a factory reset
You can try to dial it too *2767*3855# to do a hard reset (I've never test it, I used to do factory reset via CWM)
resolved. volume key buttons are not working

You can access typing this via Terminal Emulator (If your device was rooted)
Code:
su
reboot recovery
maybe you can use the touch cwm recovery by SpaceCaker
