hi guys
I bought a htc one 802t china mobile variant rooted and boot-loader unlocked i got few questions i was unable to find answers
is it possible to cross flash a radio file of 802d or 802w to get access to HSDPA ?
do i need to do a special backup if i was to crossflash radio ? or just the usual nandriod backup in recovery is enough ?

You would need S-Off to flash a different radio, but is more likely the different hardware that is not getting HSDPA, so won't help.

Hello,
i need to know a thing very important
i never owned a branded device and then need some infos
Currently my One is TIM ( italian brand, sim unlocked) with TIM_401 as CID
i wanted to install a rom based on the new RUU ( when available) but i read somewhere about hboot change with CID restrinction etc etc
I dont know if i'm in a bad road, but my question is
1)Will I encounter issue installing, for example, the new ARHD based on 4.4.2?
2) the procedure, in case i have no issue, is unlock bootloader, custom recovery, root and then simply flash?
thank a milion

If you are planning to flash a custom ROM then CID is not important. You simply do:
1: Unlock the bootloader
2 Flash custom recovery
3 Create a backup (nandroid backup) as soon as you flash custom recovery
4 Flash custom ROM
And that is it..

You should be able to flash ARHD 9.4 with your carrier CID but it is not known yet if you'll be able to go to a 4.2.2 based rom on a carrier CID. This may require a firmware update for Hboot. So far the listed CID's are just for certain unbranded devices but more info will emerge as the devs work on the new base.
Sit tight and wait for full details.
Hi guys, I am just planning to install Developer RUU on my T-Mobile HTC One(I have already did S-OFF and SuperCID). I just want to make sure, after I install Dev RUU, do I keep T-Mobile radio or do I loose it? Because I don't want to loose my HSPA+ on T-Mobile network.
Thank you!

I'm running Viper ROM, lollipop, s-off, rooted and supercid.
Would anyone please help me or guide trough a working solution to my problem please.
Ps: I have a Simple Mobile Sims Card which I'm using to verify the unlocking, thanks in advance!!

radio problem
So i did all the steps to unlock my htc one m8, and I made a mistake flashing a radio which didn't belong to my device, now I'm constantly rebooting, and can't seem to find the stock radio that I'm supposed to use.
Unfortunately I made the big mistake to not backup my stock radio.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be gladly appreciated I'm willing to give a small donation as well thanks in advance.
My stock CiD was 654 now I'm super cid if that help
Your best bet would be to RUU at this point. If your device is S-off, you can install modified firmware without having to run a RUU. Check out OMJ's RUU/firmware thread located in the development forum.
Also, you cannot make a backup of your radio.
no need to backup your stock radio, just extract it from an ruu.
fixed!
i just flashed a firmware via hboot and got my radio back.
Now i have sucessfully completed all the steps to sim unlock it and did get ''you device is sucessfully unlock'' but still says invalid sim card any ideas?
Install an old 4.4.3 version of viper and try unlocking again
HI,
I bought a m8 sprint harmon kardon phone in India which had official sense and relocked bootloader and all sim working. Then I read all guides and i unlocked my sprint m8 bootloader got twrp 2.7.xx for it and Installed Few Custom roms. I am on viper ROM 4.3 now. It is Misbehaving a lot. I wanted to go back to stock HTC. My question is after searching extensively i cant find proper guide or ROM to go back for my particular device. So many ROMS and RUU i am confused and scared i might brick it. Shud i flash from twrp or RUU? i Dont want to S OFF.
1) How to go back to stock harmon kardon with all sim working in india .I have S on and unlocked bootloader. shud i relock bootloader?
2)which stock Rom to flash for INDIA so all sims will work and i will not be stuck with only sprint sim working(biggest scare)
3)Will i get official OTA updates of htc in india if it is a sprint rom?
4)If not can i install an asian or indian Stock ROM? and will i loose Harmon kardon settings with that?
If i install this RUU Sprint_HTC_One_M8_HK_4.25.654.14_RUU from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729173
will it be OK?
If i run this RUU http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m8-harman-kardon-edition-sprint/news/ will i be gettin all sims working on it? or only USA sprint?
I am sorry for so many questions but i dont want to brick my phone.

1. Easiest way to go back to stock is RUU. (you will need to re-lock your bootloader for it to work)
2. If you are sim unlocked as far as I know it's permanent.
3. Yes you should.
4. If they are Sprint compatible then yes. You will most likely loose your HK setting.
Both RUU's you link to are the same, you need to be sim unlocked to get all sims working.
thanks mate

Link to custom GPE rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2762336
Link to stock firmware ( might include rom if larger than 50mb): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729173
Try installing the HK RUU from the second link it should bring your phone back to factory stock.
Thanks a million
