Could someone upload or post link to the soft keys apk. I've deleted something or changed build prop or something and have lost my soft keys. I've got LMT launcher working and gravity box pie available but would like to have the soft keys just in case one of the pies fails. Thanks.

The front touch buttons doesn't even show up in the settings. Lmao. I've really done it now. Lmao

wase4711 had the same issue and he couldn't figure it how to get them back. He was within his 14 day window and was lucky to get his swapped out. Maybe ask him what all he tried. I don't even think a factory reset brought them back. Maybe the LG tool?
I looked in system /app and didn't see softkeys. Apk
Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
I dont see that file either, so it might not be what the problem is.
When it happened to me, I was within my 14 days, so I didn't bother trying to restore, I just exchanged it.
I tried everything, including a factory reset, and nothing helped.
At this point, I think I would use the lg flash tool, and restore to stock with the T-mobile .kdz file, unless you happened to have a buildprop backup
Another reason why I'm sticking with stock. I know this would happen to me and I don't need that headache. lol

I would try to download GMD auto hide soft keys or whatever its called to try to toggle hiding the navbar and then enabling it worked for me one time on my RAZR

Thanks for looking guys. I still haven't gotten my stock soft keys back but I found and xposed module that creates, themes, and mods soft keys specifically so I installed it and I actually like it better due to the auto hide and the themes for the soft keys.

What module is that??
Its a mod for xposed installer called "UDN PRO"
Ultimate Dynamic Navdar Pro I think I got it on the play store though. It works great. No issue with starting after boot or anything. No issues so far.

I wish I would have known about this before returning my first flex when the buttons disappeared!
now that you can make the navbar go away, have you tried installing Themer? I doesnt work on the flex, because of the native navbar, but I wonder if it would work now with this mod enabled..

Is there a module on Xposed to hide the stock trigger? I immediately got UDN pro just for the customization aspect, and love it, but I can't find a way to get rid of the ugly stock trigger, unless I go the "dangerous route" as the app calls it lol..
I don't know for sure. I was deleting bloat or what I thought was bloat and must have accidently deleted the touch keys app or something. That's what caused me to search and find that apk and it is an exposed mod or at least listed on my exposed module list.

Understood and duly noted! Now if we can just find out what exactly it was that you deleted, that would be great!
That's been my whole reason for the thread. Cuz at first I was trying to get them back. But now I'm not so sure I want them back.

Guys, I finally found something that seems to work! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmd.hidesoftkeys with root permission of course! With an in-app purchase of 3 bucks, IIRC, you get the pro version, which allows more customization.. And you can hide the stock soft keys completely, even while in system settings

Oh I would love to know the answer to this! I hate that! I'd also like to know if you can change the autocorrect bar SIZE! The suggestions are HUGE!? haha.
Any other input? Thanks!

you can enable the autocorrect, but disable substitute words, you can do that from the settings, input, then samsung key board, xt9 enable then advanced settings mess around with that

Just a general post to see if those of you who got the update to work, if you really think it's worth it? Is it one step forward, two steps back? Are you happy that you updated or sorry you did? No, this post isn't necessarily a question post, just one to get people's opinions on the update in one place and not scattered between a few threads. Mods, if you feel this is redundant, that's fine. I'm just trying to generate some activity and input from the users on the update.
I did it and it seems a lot smother. But then I cf-autorooted and restored a nandroid of carbon rom. Don't know why but I seem to get better service.

I did it solely for the modem. I am back on OctOS already. Won't know if the modern is any better till tomorrow, it didn't really improve anything at my house so I'm not getting my hopes up...

When clicking on Google search to open Google now, it will randomly force close. It starts to load my cards, then shuts down. I've cleared app data and same results. Happens randomly. Anyone else?

Works fine when first opened as in your screen shot, set it up and then open it and kill the app then try and reopen it. Half time closes on me. Un installed latest and reverted to previous update and works fine.
Odd thing too, is it doesn't do this in landscape mode only portrait.

I usually try to avoid statements like this because of placebo, but TW seems a lot snappier.
Also the new 3G and 4G icons are really nice. The keyboard enhancements are really nice.

3g icons suck big time. Looks like smeone took the small one and streched it in photoshop. Regarding benchmarking i scored this on antutu which makes me wonder how cheatfull is samsung on benchmarking. Am on stock 4.3 and rooted.
Agreed. The 3G icon looks aweful!!!
There are more fonts to change the phone to. Mobile Data is missing from the drop down. Reading mode was added. GSM data roaming was opened up while all roaming was turned off. It does feel much smoother.

You can update and keep root... I odined back to mf9 and used cf auto root to gain root access back. I then went into superSU and checked survival mode(keeps root even after ota). After that I downloaded the update and put it on my sd card. Once there I went into stock recover uodated from sdcard and now I have 4.3 still rooted.

Still on Sac's v7.1!
Xui mod also working seconds on time and battery bar and nexus 7 animations...yea 4.3 mja...

Could use a little help, I am looking for some of the mods that can be done with out flashing a new ROM.
I am new to samsung (HTC from day one) and am trying to get up to speed on my new s4 .
Do you guys have any links?
Were/are Xposed mods not supposed to be working with MJA? I've been using Wanam and a few others for weeks now with absolutely no problem - maybe it's just what mods/options I'm using haha?

I had this issue on MF9 as well.
I rooted my flex and wanted to know if there was an app like Rom Toolbox Pro that I used with my LG Optimus L9 and LG G Pro. is there an app like this yet... if not can you please recommend some apps that will do pretty much the same things. for example: change dpi, custom fonts globally, other tweaks, etc. also is there a good way to put a custom recovery on here. I read a thread about it and also another one that said use freegee pro. it's a D95010n. would I benefit more from going back to stock 10c or 10l?
Xposed modules rock for this phone and make your phone extremely customizable . I wouldnt use rom toolbox some1 soft bricked using a font from that app not sure if app is incompatible or if that person did something wrong but either way
Sent from my LG-D959 using Tapatalk
They probably did something wrong cuz I've been using Romtoolbox PRO for years and on this phone with no issue. Its my go to source for root browser or build prop editing. But the fonts from ROM toolbox don't seem to stick after reboot. Think it has something to do with the stock software being odexed. So after several attempts to change fonts with romtoolbox and nothing happening good or bad I doubt that's what soft bricked your buddies phone. The boot animations work good. Even the tablet specific animations.

Most of ROM toolbox pro works good for this phone but there is an issue with it soft bricking your phone when trying to change fonts.. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Soft bricked my g pro changing a font. I'm wanting to know another way to change my fonts on the flex.
