because I need handwriting input and Hong Kong Fonts support
I don't what hong kong font means, but if you just want handwriting and Tranditional Chinese support, you can download addon pack from their website.
http://www.cootek.cn/download.html
for simplified chinese, the baidu keyboard is not bad. incliudes almost everything from pinyin, strokes, and handwriting recognition.

in my opinion swype is a really good on screen keyboard for phones with smaller, less touch friendly touch screens and/or with no/non fucntioning QWERTY keyboards.
when your phone has a qwerty keyboard, i dont see the purpose of swype unfortunately.

So many apps in market. Go search "Pinyin input" to get them and almost all of these apps are free.
All characters are romanized, alphabet and western symbol can convert to ASCII code, and Chinese characters goes two ASCII codes per character.
We type them in many ways include pinyin/stroke/handwriting and so on. For example, pinyin input method like follows: a combination of some alphabets respect the pronunciation of a character, type the alphabets, then, choose the character you want. That's all

I'm just curious, why does the SGS3 Sammy keyboard have the chinese input but the SGN1 doesnt?
I'm really pissed by this and other keyboards just mess up after awhile. and sadly swype does support Chinese.
Is there anyway to solve this? Language pack? taking the rip from SGS3? [No downloading of other keyboards thanks]
I've tried swype, perfect, thumb, slideit, touchpal <- best so far but can't edit user dictionary.
Also, does anyone's SGN1 sammy keyboard have chinese? If I remember correctly (faintly), before ICS, my note had chinese support in GB for the same keyboard?!
Bump

Is there anyway to get language packs pushed into the Samsung keyboard. Its annoying that I cant input Chinese

did you try a stock Rom from sammobile for your area (may Hongkong 4.x ICS Roms) and check the native support for chinese all over in the Rom?
If you use Custom Roms from other countries you'll never get full support.
I have this "problem" (not a real one) with Thai support. It's a question of "shakesperean dimension": Thai or not to Thai?
If I want it I switch back to Thai Stock Roms.
Hiya,
Does anyone know if it is possible to install the Samsung keyboard into the Xperia Z1?
Thanks

I tried swift key as I had bought it during the anniversary sale a year or more back but I soon installed Swype instead. Much more intuitive word recognition, less frustrated deleting of words wondering "wtf did it choose that ?"
Hi, i am really nerdy and love to learn languages. At the moment I speak 5. I am learning chinese and have intentions to learn russian so I need at least two keyboards more.
Although in other languages the alphabet is the same, having that keyboard active really helps me in correct spelling.
Is there anyway to have more than 4 languages activated? I love samsung keyboard since my first note 1. I tried most other keyboards but i wouldn't change it. The layout and number row, the choice of languages and etc. The only two things I'd love to change is the white theme (i like the dark one) and i'd like to unlock more than 4 languages!
I'm on the exynos version (910h) on sweet rom with stock kernel.
Thanks guys!
