Nexus 7 without pre order

Hi guys iam wondering if anyone from the uk can help me out. I plan to get a necus 7 on friday the 20th july ftom currys. Thing is j dont have the money right now to pre order. And wont have it till the 20th. Does anyone know if i will be able to just walk in and pick one up off the shelf, without pre order? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Ive tried the currys website but all i can do is pre order there. I need to know if they will sell them in-store so i can just walk in amd pay for one.

The proper answer is... nobody knows only Google. If pre orders are arriving on the nineteenth then it could be available on the 20th.
Car phone warehouse are stating the 27th.
Also my main point was to keep your eye on Google or the massive pre order thread (I know you want physical) too

i think you should ask someone who well order for him self to order another one for you

I am not 100% on their over order. But from their retail plan there maybe some in store but not many until the week after.
CPW are expecting it in shop floor around the 27th in bigger 'wireless' stores

Google seems to keep a low stock at the beginning of product launches.
Look at the Samsung Chromebook. That thing was sold out in one day and still has a 2-4 week stall before being back in stock.

I'm getting "Coming Soon, Notify Me, etc" on the 16GB model page, but on the 8GB model page, I am able to order it.

That's what users are reporting everywhere, some already preordered it and they say that only the 8gb model is still available.

I'm in Australia. I managed to get one of the 16GB ones before they sold out. Only the 8GB model is available now.

I received 50 credits at radio shack for buying the phone this weekend and now another 25.....Hell ya. Plus I priced matched BB's $99 price so when all said and done a $25 HTCone :good:

Just applied, although I got mine back in May... we shall see.

No but I remember seeing a 72 hour notice to confirm serial number after submitting form for credit. That was this weekend so I should have something by Thursday at the latest. I am in no rush because the wife claimed it since I just got a $50 play credit.

I bought mine from radio shack at a local retailer for $149 plus a $50 Google play credit.

AT&T Store Release?

Anyone know when the Flex will be available in retail AT&T stores? I know preorders are shipping February 4th, so is retail availability that same day?

No. I thought the flex was really interesting, but it feels like a gimmick to me. Actually I think the flex is great, but I reckon they should make a flat flex device that can bend a bit.
I did however LOVE the screen size so I'm probably going to get the G Pro 2 (I had the g2 and loved it, especially the software, but I like big screens).

I actually like the way it is now. It makes it more comfortable in your back pocket and less likely to break at the same time. It would benefit from a built in stylus however.

The 2 corporate stores by me have display models in but no stock. They are saying Feb 7 maybe. I kind of fell in love with the flex though.
I ran a carrier iq check on the floor model and it's in full effect. Luckily like the G2 it's easy to root and shut down.

I wanna jump back on the G flex now that the at&t version is available. I have a note 3 for whoever wants to trade their AT&T G flex

I just got back from my local ATT store and they didn't have any display models out but I did get to check out the one that the employees get to familiarize themselves with. The manager said that they would not have a display model out on the floor till Thursday night or Friday.
I ended up ordering one and it should be here this weekend or Monday at the latest.

T-Mobile didn't have a demo phone yesterday and said come back on the 5th so I stopped in AT&T today and they had one. I played with the phone for a bit. I kind of wish I never got the G2 so the decision would be easy. lol

This is only for the Verizon version since they always like to be special & different haha
They will do other devices if you send yours in to have it made.
