Looks that way. But it says the CM base is 4.3
But as others mentioned WAY more info would be helpful.
Screen shots and exactly what tweaks you added and why.
What Gapps are recommended? Any specific date(s)? PA builds or what?
Appreciate the work, it's always good to have some new devs jump in.

@jmjles
If you need help adding in MODs ei. tweaks hit me up. I can send ya some. I take this is a CM10.2 stable release build?
Maybe add in Bravia engine v3 - 3G speed tweaks - IPv4 & v6 speed tweaks and some init.d tweaks. That I can help with. '
Also to help out. Maybe a link to the GAPPS to use : http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
Please take this as helping. I'm not criticizing or meaning to deter you away. Just I see your new and if you wanted some help - let me know.
Just wanna let everyone one know. I am working with jmjles on this ROM.
There will be a slight delay with the mods I've added.
I have a family emergency - situation with my dad. So things on my end will be slowed down for a day or so.

Kind of agree however not bad having them grouped by their OS either so it's easy for noobs. Plus some of these I forgot about since they don't get much activity.
yea thats why i said i like this one the most of the 3 we have
Why dont i suggest for aokp 4.1.2 add the version from theAPANT. Its completed and more active with all due respect to irx buil.

I can see there is some discord regarding this thread... As someone who has been away for a few/several months largely working with a Galaxy Nexus, I'd like to say I found the organization of this extremely helpful.
while for ages the Exhibit had one or two circa "peach sunrise" now there are so many other threads under the heading
Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G > Galaxy Exhibit 4G Android Development
I can appreciate the nature of this community isn't to spoon feed noobs and those that done't want to do some reading - but when there are soo many projects, many of whom claim in the OP that "everything works" - only to dig in and install to face issues with BT or GPS or etc....???
A master thread with some grid / chart / color coding / a brief overview of projects / or indication of what some safe best bets would be could be most helpful. The arrangement of this thread in particular really brought to light what was happening here as far as what may be most current. I'm thankful for it at a level more advanced people who are here all the time probably don't appreciate.
When there is just sooooo much stuff sometimes it's hard to know where to start. Took me three tries to get something going that actually worked on all the fronts I needed it to. Ended up with the AOIP, which seems an hour or so in to be working beautifully - and thinking I should've tried baked bean too. Slim Bean was a disaster with Bluetooth, otherwise fantastic... but for now I'm very grateful and sticking with something that seems to work at the moment.
Even if this thread is closed - it could/may be a good model for a chart/grid of info to have down the road in others
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ohh: and if I could make a suggestion for the OP - put a link to the Jocala thread with the original community ROM and/or the original ROM, at the top, then name the first segment Gingerbread Customs - it keeps the flow of the rest of the chart as the base is the key...this is quite a little nit picking fuss buckety observation...THANK YOU ALL

CM9 was pretty much as fast as it could be on Mini, there is really nothing major that can be improved. For me, when I was using CM9 on Mini, it was way faster than any other 2.3 ROM, tough the lack of RAM made it very buggy when, for example, browsing Play Store and downloading multiple apps while reading e-mail etc.

Yeah I know but on cm10.1 armv6team changed to a new ram management which consome very less ram (on cm10.1 for galaxy mini I got ~100MB free with 20 or 19 apps installed. But I think it has to do with triple frambuffer too since androidarmv6 team disabled on cm10.1
Anyway erikcas is just working on cm9 to fix some things that are remaining for example: YouTube Reboots, Video Recording, WPA 2 Encryption (very easy to fix)
But Cm9 is still more smooth just sometimes phone freeze (maybe ram consumption? Or triple framebuffer? Or anything that I don't know ) and I hope he fix it
Will be very thankfully

You cannot reduce RAM amount the device is using... Just think. If app uses 10MB RAM it will use it like no matter what. Of course it's possible to prevent memory leaks and stuff like that, but the change is not very big. Also, I know he will fix the bugs that were still present when I left, but I was talking about the speed.

I am unfamiliar with most of the devs with this phone. If Calkulin was here, I'd instantly know his great reputation from past experience. Right now, I stick with stock rooted and hotspot modded MDL. Stock kernel for compatibility issues with triangle away. Custom recovery for flashing and nandroid. I'm sure I could get better performance with custom, but I haven't ran across anything yet that impressed me. I haven't been very adventurous either. No disrespect towards devs, I just haven't been in this phone's scene long enough to learn reputations well enough yet. Calkulin"s roms did 99% of what I wanted a rom to do. Unfortunately he went onto HTC territory.

I'm using freegs4 because it fits my needs.
I love the 90s good times
stock rooted with a custom kernel.. once freegs4 is updated ill deff give it a flash...
Just flashed the new Premium Rom and I like it it a lot. I like all the Roms though. lol
I've played with several roms and keep coming back to stock rom, Koontz (sp?) kernel, and a few of the mods.
Stock deodexed MDL. KT kernel, with a BUNCH of mods installed (especially Xposed Installer with Nottach module). This might be the one phone I will not need to run a custom ROM for! It's awesome stock with a bunch of tweaks and modded out.
My favorite setup so far is stock odexed MDL with root + mods, such as CrossBreeder, Xposed Framework (and Nottach & Tweakbox module), ktoonsez kernel, and Viper4Android audio.
The phone is stable, fast, no lag, and battery life is excellent.

I had that exact set up too... then I thought my phone was messed up bc dual shot kept freezing up on me and I thought it was faulty hardware... but it turns out that KT Kernel is causing the issue bc ktsoonsez's kernel souces are newer than our firmware so it's causing problems with the dual shot... so I'm running stock kernel for now until that gets fixed!

You only have to use one. lol I'll probably flash Sonic when he updates. Thinking on trying Revolt next. I'm a flash whore.
I'm really enjoying Premium ROM. It sounds like he'll be adding some flashable themes soon as well.
Trust me though, when Hyperdrive makes its way to our phone, which I'm told will be soon, I'll be checking it out as well.
But really, all the TW ROM's are nice. Blu Kuban is always a really nice change of pace and I usually keep my backup of that one so I can quickly run it at any time.
The AOSP ROM's are coming together nicely as well, though I'm holding off on making them my daily until the Pure Google S4 comes out. Then those ROM's will be stable just like TW.

The former, I saw it too when I had an S3. I read it before.
It's less damaging to your battery life compared to Seeder and less placebo than supercharger but it's more intrusive and it messes around with this that are not the source of lags/issues
Most likely it keeps i/o or cpu less in idle state so it performs better, but has a cost in the long run.
Kernels are a much better approach and frankly I had zero lag issues with this phone.

jfi .....kernels mess with governor settings too.
I have the Octa S4 and I have flashed this too, I am using one older version though but it does indeed make your phone somewhat a lot smoother, animation and scrolling, but i'm selling the S4 and returning back to Nexus (S4 Price = Nexus 4 + Nexus 7 Second Gen (?))
Even though I've been around for quite some time, I've decided to finally start contributing a little :highfive:
As the title mentions, CM11 built from source. Nothing fancy, just a ROM that works. The only credit I take is building it

Yeah it's only the stock camera and last time I tried focal it would fc when I tried talking a pic, kinda sucked because that's what I use as a camera app.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I have a nasty habit of starting to use a ROM immediately before a developer quits the effort to keep it up. I hope you stay active in pushing out updates. If so, I, for one, would be happy to send a modest donation your way for you time and hope others would join me.

New build up.

Oh really? I usually get around 12 hours on a sense based Rom, that's why I was curious. I've hard that AOSP sucks your battery like crazy
