Seems like a hard brick, um first wait until battery depletes and try charging, hopefully that works. If not, try getting your hand on a usb jig (or making your own) search for it, and if that doesn't work then you need to send it in for repairs, or find a service shop that offers JTAG service.
If you do send it in for repairs, act dumb and say you were updating via kies and that was that, most of the times, they change motherboards or just jtag it so they don't check too into it.

It's officially Bricked. Please help

Firstly, I feel like a complete D-bag for making this my first post, but I am desperate.
I was flashing the ROM on my Verizon GT using Heimdall (as I've done many times before). Unfortunately, at the end of the flashing, Heimdall just stopped and the GT got stuck in Download mode. No reboot. I waited about 30 minutes and unplugged the USB port and powered the GT down.
Now, nothing. No logo, no reboot, nada.
All the familiar combinations of holding down buttons has resulted in nothing.
The PC obviously won't recognize it anymore since I can't even turn it on.
Please tell me somebody has a trick or something to save my a*s.
Aargh...
I feel for you bud, but it looks like you are fooked.
Warranty or JTAG time it sounds like.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Yeah, I think you might be right, I'm SOL.
I'm going to try and pull it apart and disconnect the battery. You never know, I suppose.
Search the forums for "custom jig" maybe you'll find more info in the galaxy S section. However it should be able to boot your phone using the backup secondary bootloader (assuming that's the problem).

Thanks for the reply. I took your advice and actually built one of these Jigs tonight. No luck.
I really didn't expect it to work since the thread that describes it states that if your Galaxy Tab is not turning on, then this Jig will not help you.
Mine's not and it certainly didn't.
I guess I will be sending it off to Samsung.
If anybody has experience with sending a GT to Samsung, and inside info you can give me (turn around time, cost, etc...) I'd love to hear it.
I had the same problem ! Bricked no power on !

[Q] My Si won't start

Hi, I read some earlier posts about same problem as mine but they all failed ad changing boot loader or something else, but my situation is different.
I was chatting with friend on whatsapp nothing unusually battery was at 35% (btw I recently installed swapper maybe this has something with problem) and phone get freeze, I wait a little and I notice it is not working at all, I waited another 1 min and tryed to pull out battery but before I done that phone turned off itself, and I tryed to turn it on again but phone won't turn on, nothing shows on display, I tryed to put it in recovery mode, download mode nothing, I tryed to connect it on charger and pc with and without battery still nothing...
Did time came to spend a few bucks to repair it or this is just software fault ?

P.S. I recently installed cyanogen mod Smoothie V2 and CWM5504-CM9-recovery.
It was working almost as perfect except some short freezing when web browsing.

Cannot enter bootloader mode on HTC 8X GDR2

Hi everyone,
This is my first post so I hope you are kind enough to help me with this issue.
I have an HTC 8X Blue (bought it factory unlocked) and recently I have updated it to GDR2. It happened what many other HTC 8X's user had. It bricked when I was playing some music.
I found an article that has a solution allegedly (I cannot post the link but it is the most popular solution aparently). But my problem is that I cannot enter Bootloader Mode as one of the first steps requires. My phone is simply dead, I tried every combination of buttons (hard reset and soft reset), but non is responsive. Of course, my PC does not recognize it and when I plug it in to the wall the red light does not turn on!
I do not have experience in modding or flashing or what-ever process needed (for Windows Phone), but I do know pretty much for iOS so I can learn quickly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Your best option would be to get it repaired/replaced by a service center. If you're near a Microsoft store, they can take care of that for you. If not, it'll be trickier.
Otherwise, the only advice I can offer is to leave it for a while, let the battery drain entirely if you can, plug it in again, and try to start it... even if it won't boot normally, you may be able to access the bootloader mode now.
Thanks for the quick reply! I actually do not have a Microsoft Store as I live in Argentina...
I think i will try to drain the battery and restart it. Should I restart it the normal way? I mean by holding power button?
Yep, basically that.
You could also try calling HTC support and seeing if they have any other recommendations. The battery drain thing is basically just in case the phone got stuck in a weird state; resetting it that way may help.
is your phone stuck in QHSUSB_DLMODE i got my stuck there the other day. what i did was hold VOL UP, WOL DOWN and POWER all at the same time until the phone vibrated. wouldnt you know i unbricked my device.

I Hard-Bricked my SGS 3 Mini

Hello, my name is TNSM and i'm new here. I signed up because i can't find anything on the internet that can help me, so i thought maybe someone here may be able to help me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini GT-I8190 and i'm experienced with rooting and flashing custom roms stuff. So, i was looking everywhere for a rom that included the HALO feature and after days of failed research, i found a link on Youtube to download a rom with Halo for my smartphone. I went into the recovery, backed up my current rom, wiped data and performed a factory reset, installed the rom and rebooted the phone... but after i chose the "Reboot" option, the phone never again gave a sign of life. It doesn't turn on, it doesn't show any lights whatsoever, i've tried to charge it overnight, but still nothing, considered buying a USB JIG but didn't work, my cousin says the phone seems like it doesn't even have the bootloader anymore... is my phone more than hard-bricked? Is there a way to wake my phone up again? Just for the record, it has no physical damage, it just seems like it has no software inside, that it's just hardware. By the way, when i connect it to the pc using the usb cable, the pc keeps playing the sound that something was plugged in and that something was plugged out right after, and it loops forever.
I'll give more information about the phone if needed. And i hope someone's able to help me.

You may try to pull off the battery for few mins, then with someone's help hold the 3 buttons for download mode and then plug in the battery...
If you can't turn it in download mode there's no way to fix it, except jtag maybe.

[Q] HTC One Mini 2 Freeze in Charge-Screen

Hey Guys
Hope, some of you can help me. The problem is:
i bought a new HTC One Mini 2. Cause i had a Cyanogen 10.1 on my previous phone, i thought, that i should install a new CyanogenMod for this phone again. So i unlocked und flashed the Phone. As custom recovery i used TWRP 2.8.5.0... Found that one here in a Thread. After i flashed cm-12-20150411-NIGHTLY-memul.zip on it. After all, i started my phone again and all worked fine. i thought....
So yesterday i powered off my phone, plugged it to the charging-cable and went to sleep. In the morning i got up, picked my phone and wanted to turn it on. What i saw, was the charging screen, blink led is standing on orange and thats it. Cant power it off again, cant boot to recovery... nothing...
And the point is, i dont have the ultilities and the skill to open the phone and remove the battery to see, if that is the problem.
Do you have any ideas for that?? Thanks for leave an answer
lol

I works again. was some buggy thing, i guess. A friend took my phone, did same combination that i did to boot in recovery mode and BOOM it reboots and work properly. So, i can't tell u a real solutions, but if you got same problem, keep trying with the POWER-Button and the VOLUME_DOWN-Button. Worked in my case.
Thread can get closed.

What he did was a hard reboot, accomplished by holding the power and vol-up buttons for about 10 seconds. Just wanted to add this.
Hey guys,
any solution to this problem??
Got the same issue. unlocked bootloader with htcdev, installed TWRP Recovery and rooted phone, everything worked fine yesterday.
Today I installed xposed framework, then I plugged-in the charging cable and turned off the phone because I wanted to flash xposed in Recovery. But when the phone turned off, it only showed the charging screen with the message ("This build is for development purposes only Do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action.") and didn't react to any button pressings until the battery finally died.
Then I plugged in charging cable again. Now I have again the charging screen, only difference is that the LED doesn't flash permanently but it now blinks. Computer recognizes phone but I can't send fastboot commands since it is turned off.
Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: After a lot of tries, I finally also managed to fix it with 10 seconds power + volume up....
