Hello to all!!! It's me for round 2! This took care of the 2 most missed things on my Fascinate. Hope you all enjoy!!!
What is this?
The Power Menu Mod is basically 3 mods in 1! It includes my Accurate Battery Mod, and thecubed's AOSP Lockscreen. The third is the Power Menu Mod itself. What it does is actually includes reboot, and reboot into recovery into the power menu. No more powering off and holding certain buttons just right, and no more using other apps to reboot. It is all done through the pop up menu when you hold down the power button. Also, while I was in there, I edited the words on the lockscreen!

How do I install this?
1. Put this zip file on your external SD card (do not extract it!)
2. Reboot into Clockwork
3. Select "Install ZIP from SDCard"
4. Find the "RevoPowerMenuMod.zip" and select it. Hit install!
5. Wipe the dalvik-cache.
6. Reboot
Your phone will take a while to boot back up after this mod, it's normal!

Technical Info
This is a mod for the Decrapified 1.1 rom by thecubed. It has modifications in the android.policy.jar, framework.jar, and framework-res.apk. I had to modify the framework to allow a direct reboot and reboot into recovery, and make the modifications for the menu itself.

Awesome stuff you're doing here!
Are you sure this is the latest build? Your screenshots don't look like mine after install - I still have the old icons and Revolution message is still in the upper right?
Edit: nvm - this look like it might be my bad.
Great App
Great app man... Love it.. Works great and love the Text on the lock screen. Keep up the good work.
man this is great i was wondering if how can you just get the power menu mod, because i already have the battery mod and i like the lockscreen.

It doesn't hurt anything to flash over the battery mod again. I had the battery mod before as well.

Like Major said, flash over the battery mod and it will stay the same. I will try to port it without the lockscreen if i can get some time tomorrow.
Installed and working perfectly. I had both the AOSP and AccurateBatteryMod installed before (using Quickboot as my easy-recovery app) but I would rather it be integrated and I like the Lockscreen phrase!
Great work man, thanks for the integrated solution (bye bye Quickboot )
I would also just like the power menu mod as well, I don't mind the lock screen and I already have the battery mod, if that's possible, if not keep up the great work, thanks.

Lockscreen is almost perfect now! thanks! Last remaining quirk that bothers me is that the menu button unlocks the lockscreen as well as the slider. But that is probably more of a personal preference thing, and this lockscreen is much better than the swipe up that came with the Revo. You and thecubed are working hard to make it much less likely that I'll sell my revo when the bionic comes out... you guys are great! (and all they guys that helped test the stuff for you guys are great too!)
Just posted the version with the LG lockscreen! Go check it out!

Just had to say again, the lockscreen is awesome. Would I be messing with fire? We all have to start somewhere...

Hey Tim thanks for the donation! Changing text is a good place to start! It will help you to learn how to use all of the tools needed. I can tell you exactly where most all of the changes are for the text changes, and there are some separate for the verizon wireless tagging. I have left those alone (on my releases anyways lol) for now until I finish my first theme, which shouldn't be too long now at all. Just have to work out a couple of kinks with it.
Thanks again all for the support!

Guys, no off-topic please..
Bump bump, anyone with some theming skills? It shouldn't bee too difficult to make a simple AOSP theme, I think.
its actually difficult coz we need to kill the sony theme engine, and find the sony lines in framework and rewrite those

Is this why we have bootloops when flashing a modified framework-res.apk?
My response to the request was going to be simply that as far as I know, nobody has managed to recompile framework-res without causing bootloops, and until that's resolved, we're not going to see much real theming for T/V. Without the option to edit 9.png's and xml's, there's no way to modify - among other things - popups, most buttons, tabs, color values, text styles, etc. I've mentioned this issue in the apktool thread but gotten no response, I guess the next thing I'll do is report it as an issue on their website.
Sent from my LT25i using xda premium
There are quite a few things that can be modified without touching framework-res, like nav bar buttons (which has been done already), background image/color and status bar things like text color, center clock, toggle buttons. Also, we could modify one of the stock Sony themes to get a little closer. It wouldn't be real AOSP but I think we can get pretty close. Let me know if this is acceptable and I'll give it a try.

THAT would be great. Would also be great if you can remove the silver bar on the dock, or maybe guide me to the right direction.
For the past two days I've tried making the status bar and the navigation bar to fully transparent, but no luck. Modifying framework-res.apk causes bootloops and systemui crash. >.>
Im not knowledgeable to the point to avoid this yet
I shouldn't have said "no real theming", because not only is that being too negative and a bit over-dramatic, but it takes away from the work that people have already done and are doing now. So apologies for that!
And sorry for the OT.

Removing the dock bar is easy but it's a little too late here to go into that now. Modifying framework-res is a no-go, at least not in the easy re/decompile way.
I've made a little package with my modifications. I know some people have already done bits of this but it felt better doing it all in one go from scratch. All files are taken from galaxy nexus and nexus 4 factory images (jzo54k and jdq39). This has small nav bar buttons from recoba23 and lidroid power widget by peetr_, modified a bit by me. Made a custom theme to better fit the jelly bean blue color and wallpaper + lockscreen background. Replaced the app background with just plain black. Nexus bootanimation. Added AOSP launcher. You can get the AOSP lockscreen by renaming/deleting UxpNxtLockscreen.apk but it doesn't look right, there was some kind of weird bar at the bottom
Let me know what you think could be better or feel free to customize it. Maybe we should start a new thread or change the title because it's not really a request anymore

This mod enables the nav bar on the Droid Maxx (and proably the Droid Ultra), disables the capacitive buttons. And i recommend installing the app from the link below.
This mod uses the framework-res.apk from after Software Update 1 (12.15.15 for the Maxx). I do not know if it will work on the earlier verison.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2350732
!!!! THIS NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP !!!!
But, it is pretty straight forward. Unzip, read the "read me", and follow the install instructions.
If anyone would like to help and show me how to make this SafeStrap flashable I would really appreciate the help. And it will allow this mod and future mod to be more user friendly.
Your instruction in the readme is a little off, "cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/" should read "cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk".
Otherwise, it did enable the bar, but did not disable the capacitative keys. Also, if anyone uses the long press on recents for menu key emulation, it does not work on the on screen buttons.
Finally, you can use the shell command "echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/nutton-backlight/brightness" without the quotes to turn off the capacitative lights, instead of using the app linked.
Otherwise, thanks for the mod! I'm kinda a fan of the onscreen buttons, just haven't had the time to figure it out myself.
Here is an attempt at a flashable zip, haven't done one in a while and can't test as I don't use safestrap atm.
Feel free to test at your own risk, the most likely error is that it won't mount system correctly, in which case it won't install anything. In that case, just mount system manually and try again.

Here you guys go:

Works great, just a half black nav bar background but i am sure I can make the transparent myself. I think the half black is my launcher, switching it changes the height.

Its super easy. Decompile, go to res/values/bools.xml, find line that has show navigation bar change to true, then find show menu bar and change to false. That's it.
Hi !
First I own an Xperia V, ICS 4.0.4 with 9.0.1.D.0.10 Firmware
So , I use Nemus Launcher (It's the smoothest launcher for me) which has a notification function and can display notification bubbles in the top left hand corner of an APP in the homescreen.
My question is : How can I mod the APK of Nemus launcher in order to display the bubbles at the top right hand corner of an APP and IF POSSIBLE make it like iOS , I mean not completly on the application's icon but that is half in half out..
(Please look at the attached pic to see how it is..)
I know how to decompile an APK but to do what I described is beyond me :/
Please try to help me, Thanks !
