Wouldn't that be useless unless you have a way to add the meid to their databases? Or you going to do clone the meid of an existing phone?

You just dial *#0808#, and choose RMNET + DM + MODEM and then go to QPST and go to back up and save qcn file off the phone.
Deleted.
Here is the link to QCN file. Remember this QCN IMEI is all zeros. So you will have to change the IMEI to your original IMEI with Z3X box.

Hi all,
Can anyone PM me a working QCN from your i537 ATT Active ? I got a phone which didn't have IMEI, and used a tool to get it back, but right now I am getting "The ESN of the phone does not match the ESN of this file containing RF calibration data" when trying to get AWS working on it.
You can sure that I can remove your IMEI and not misuse it. Much appreciate it!

There is no qcn attached anywhere. Which was my question. Thanks for trying.
* Under Revision *
On 1.1 and 1.3 same download link to IMEI converter, pls fix it
Link fixed.
Also, before modifying the qcn file, make sure to make a backup copy first.
If your phone is not detected, just try to remove usb cable and insert again, sometimes qpst couldn't recognize my phone.

I had the same problem. Nobody can help in the forum, or they don't want. We can understand. Nobody want to share their personal informaton (image files from another phone).
I went to a local GSM service and their solved my problem. Now I can use the 1. and the 2. SIM as well with the original IMEI numbers. It wasn't easy for the GSM guy (because I made a big mess), but he did it. It wasn't for free of course, but probably You also don't have another chance.
Apparently I have missed the imei of my xiaomi mi a2 in a bad flahseo procedure and I do not know how to recover it. Does anyone know what can I do? I'm a little new in this

Bro, google it. You will find few tutorials how to retrieve lost imei. But I think you should root your phone.

You need to look for xiaomi and snapdragon. Before you start, backup everything, so if you mess something up, you can restore it. You have nothing to lose. Tutorial I sent you pm are noob friendly.
Here i crossflash 409n to 405ebw but my imei no is 00 i have no any backup of modem or qcn or efs to restore imei i also tried original kdz of 409n but same problem any solution to get out from here?
You need someone's modem EFS/QCN backup file. They need to have the exact same version phone you have

Lol didn't think of that!
Perhaps the person can alter their file and remove their IMEI number or make it all 9s.
He can open the file and edit it with his real IMEI (assuming he has his box or the real number written somewhere)

but see that's the thing, I'm pretty sure he doesn't have it. If he did it would be simple to edit the ftm partition, which has worked for others. But there's really nothing u can do if u don't have it.

That absolutely makes sense!
When shopping for mine, I noticed some of these V40s have their IMEI #s printed on the back.
Would be very silly (and lucky) if the O.P lucked out, had an IMEI printed on the bottom and overlooked it.
Otherwise, I'm wondering if he can somehow talk with someone at his phone provider tech support and see if they can share the number of the last phone that connected to their service.
Pretty sure if he catches the right person, they may share his V40's IMEI after he successfully identifies himself

I had this problem back in the LG G2 days, had trouble with my EFS too but was able to recover. Sounds like something is off and is not coming through from your EFS backup.
If you search my screen name you'll find an old thread I made about it from years ago. Hopefully the steps will be similar and can be helpful to you.
