Root your device, install "Xposed Installer" and install the module "Xposed Torch".
There is option to start flashled when vol+ is long pressed.

If you are on MAGLDR there is no app for that. On clk you could either use Rom Manager or hold the home button when booting the phone

Is there any way to get Reboot (by itself, or along with the additional Reboot to recovery, etc.) on the power menu?

Only once you have root. You can probably make a shortcut to it on one of your homescreens using something like quickshortcutmaker, but that won't be quite the same.

Do you mean the answer is no I can't get Reboot on the power menu, but if I have root then I can make a desktop shortcut to reboot?
There is no way to get Advanced Power Menu without Root.
You can however hold down power and the device will reboot.

Not on the power menu but if you want to wipe temporary files and force a reboot you can do the following.
This will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings.
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release.
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to select
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to select this option
8. The device will then perform the partition wipe
9. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence
I meant you can make a shortcut on the home screen without having root. The actual power menu can only be edited on phones with root access.

There's multiple apps that can put a shortcut on you're desktop, quickboot and ROM toolbox are just two examples, but they all require root access.
Pushing the power button for power menu extras can only be done with either xposed frameworks or a custom rom , again both require root and or unlocked bootloader

Apparently I was wrong about not needing root for a shortcut. My apologies for misleading you.

Actually, I have root. Does anyone know if there is an Xposed module for expanding the power menu options that works with the Moto X?

Sir, all I find are widgets, and I don't want anything about that.
I just want to modify the power menu to access from the power button, but with the option of reboot, without using Xposed.
Thanks.

Not going to happen without Xposed or a custom rom that has an extended power menu.
As said above, there are apps. Quick boot works well and is not a widget.

You do realize there is a hidden/default reboot?
Hold power for 8 to 10 seconds & it reboots.

This is just one of the things I wanted to avoid to do (I found it forced, not like when I turn off the phone and then turn it on again), but anyway, I DID realize that, so... no way, to do this.
Thanks, anyway.
Am stuck in boot-loop when the phone(ROOTED) was rebooting after installing a new font using Fonter.
The device doesn't have CWM recovery, it has(accessed by holding Volume down and power button simultaneously) android system recovery(3e) where I tried both "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition", still didn't work.
For flashing Stock ROM I need to use Smart Phone Flash Tool as its a MediaTek based phone. But I don' t have Android USB Driver installed and now since I can't switch on my phone the the Adb Driver Installer on my pc doesn't detect my phone to install the required drivers required before flashing using the Smart Phone Flash Tool .
Please help me recover my phone ANYHOW.
You can also disable the Xposed framework by repeatedly pressing the power button while booting the device (v2.5 or above). If you can. That's gonna be hard to do with bootloop.

I am facing the similar problem. I have reformatted my rom twice and now in the 3rd time I am realizing that it happens when I try to install a font from Fonter Xposed Module. I tried your suggestion but I am unable to boot my device and the booting continues :crying::crying:

It Stucks at the Lenovo Icon and startup sound is also coming but after that nothing is happening.
It just gives vibrates on pressing the buttons.

Yes, the utube adaway mobule and Wanam modules. The Swipe home button does work but not the hard or soft home button.
Hello everyone,
Here is the situation :
I just made a fresh install with full wipe of the latest SupermanRom without root in order to log in Snapchat, then I installed Magisk apk anf flashed Magisk V13.3. Until here, everythig was fine.
Then I wanted to try the unofficial Xposed framework : I installed the manager apk then downloaded the systemless Magisk compatible sdk 24 (SupermanRom 2.6 is Android 7.0) then reboot.
Here comes the problem : The phone (re)boots until the pin screen. This screen stays 2 or 3 seconds, then the screen goes of. I tried everything to type fast or anything, the phone doesn't react. When I press the power button to wake up the screen, nothing hapends.
So I thought, I just go back to full whipe and install the room again without Xposed, but I'm also unable to boot either in Recovery (Power + Home + Vol up) or Download (Power + Home + Vol down) mode !!!
The result without the SIM card is the same.
To sum up : Custom Rom + Magisk = OK phone working
But : Custom Rom + Magisk + Xposed = Unable to pin or boot in Recovery or Download mode.
During reboot, if i press the volume keys +/- the phone vibrates like in response... but nothing hapends. I never noticed it before...
Here I'm lost ! Does anyone have any idea of what I could do ? Is that a soft brick ? and how to get out of this situation ?
Please ask me for more information, and thank you in advance for those who will help me !
It's practically impossible that flashing magisk or any other thing brick your phone. Maybe the recovery it's gone for some strange reason but the download mode will be always here. Follow the steps here: http://www.android.gs/enter-samsung-galaxy-s7-download-mode/ (first result on Google...) to enter download mode and then use Odin to reflash it. If this doesn't work your phone is bricked but is very unlikely that it is caused by something you flashed.
EDIT: also because you say it power on until the PIN screen...

Not Xposed but Magisk v13.3
Hello everyone,
After a good night - "La nuit porte conseil" (Sleep on it like the expression says) - I finally could go in TWRP (Recovery) again. Perhaps like clau_la2 says I didn't wait enough time pressing the buttons to get it boo in Recovery.
But as I thought it was Xposed was in cause, I got the problem again without Xposed, and I found that it was the combinaison with Magisk v13.3 who was unstable. So I downgraded to Magisk v13.1 and everything works fine now. I didn't try to reinstall Xposed for the moment. I'll do it later, when I'll have time on Holidays.
Massi-X That's what I tought, and you just confirmed this. I'm not a newbie in IT but Android is not my main subject, (Je travaille principalement dans les Réseaux & Télécoms) and I just was in panic because I couldn't even reach the Download mode to flash stock things through Odin.
So evrything works fine for the moment. I'll come back to post a feedback with Xposed when it'll be done.
Thanks for all guys, and have a nice weekend !
@Raphaeldu68
Do you play xposed systemless for Magisk version? Try to upload xposed classic version, on stock Nougat 7.0 S7 edge works xposed.
Yep I flashed the systemless Magisk compatible version. I'll try the stock one next time [emoji6] thanks for the feedback!

Xposed doesn't work well with Magisk, even on MM. I guess the problem lies in the Magisk root. Change to system Xposed and SuperSU, everything is working fine again. The only reason I need Magisk is to hide the root from Galaxy Gift app.

@camapghe Thanks for your feedback, I guess so, but I'd like to keep Magisk to hide the root especially for banking apps and some others stuffs, so I'll try next week with the new Magisk beta 13.5 or 13.6 and come here to give a feedback.

I just tried the beta Magisk 13.6 few hours ago. Everything is fixed. There is also a modified version of Magisk Xposed that doesn't f*ck up the whole system.
In short, everything is 99% fixed.
