Since the phone is about a week old there aren't any roms just yet. I know this is being worked on by some awesome devs, but in the meantime we should talk about which processes and applications we can safely remove and replace to reduce blur's footprint. The goal is to try to get to stock 2.3.4.
From what I can tell, these things are blur:
Launcher
Widgets
Car Dock Mode
Keyboard
Messaging
Music Player
Status Bar
Calendar
Bedside Dock (Alarm Clock, so blue and ugly)
News (What happened to news and weather?)
Camera/Camcorder
Dialer/contacts suite
Unlock Screen
And then the Verizon bloatware:
blockbuster
amazon kindle
4 verizon wireless apps (Vcast)
DLNA
Citrix
GoToMeeting
Slacker Radio
Videosurf
Zumocast
CityID
IM
I'm sure I may have thought something was blur when it was stock, or visa versa. Please correct me, and I'll gladly update the list. I'm sure I may have missed or miscatagorized some of the bloatware, so please let me know if I messed that up too.
We should assume that the user has root for any replacement and removal methods.
If we can get the links to the stock apps which replace the blur apps all in one place, I think it would be great!
[edit] I've found the stock keyboard in another thread- someone please post it here as I cannot link.
Hi,
I have notice two things different from Nexus :
- Preinstalled calendar app is not the Google native calendar that we can found in Play Store. ( but it's easy to do the replacement ).
- Native E-Mail app from play store is not compatible with new Moto X : this one is annoying...
Did someone notice it ?
Edit : ok, just contacted Moto Support because the Play Store is telling me E-Mail app not compatible with new Moto X.
They should contact me later to give me answer.

I thought other than the special Moto features (e.g. Moto Voice) it was stock android. So it has it's own Moto email and calendar apps?
Is is stock android e-mail app. But for an unknown reason you can't update it with the version from play store.
I have asked support about this and i'm still waiting for an answer.
Hi, I just bought another Galaxy Gear in a different color and I would like to have exactly the same settings like on my old watch, that is images, apps, shortcuts in nova launcher etc. can i just make a rom of my old watch and install it on my new watch? what about pairing with note 3?
Hello and welcome!
I have a request for help. Is there any way to change the font on the Samsung Galaxy TAB S8 + to your chosen one, e.g. from the internal memory?
Samsung offers a few free fonts in its store and all the rest, not many nice paid fonts and it's quite high / expensive. The company is greedy and I'm not going to pay for something as trivial as a font; - / I have a no-ROOT device. Android 12.
* sorry for english - google translate to use.

I do not. Hopefully, someone else does.
This application from playstore doesn't require root.
zFont 3 - Emoji & Font Changer - Apps on Google Play
✅ Font changer for Samsung, Vivo, LG, Huawei, Honor, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, etc.🎉
play.google.com
It has detailed instructions how tricking Samsung device into installing a custom font works.
I tested it, no root, it works.
With Samsung Internet you can also change all websites in Samsung Internet Labs settings.
After downloading a font from a preview you backup with Samsung, then uninstall Samsung original custom font, then restore backup, install non Samsung custom font, done.
It's a trick.
Yesterday I was able to unravel the question. The answer was on YT. I put a link. Everything works great. I was able to change the font to my chosen one
