No , smartphones are designed to work with certain Operating Systems . Each Operating System will be looking for certain hardware in the phone that it's designed to work with.

This thing is going to be completely amazing, can't wait for it.
I can't wait for this. I won't be putting it on my N7 though. It'll be going on my N4. Gotta keep some Android in my life.

I have Multiboot working on my Nexus 7, it's quite easy actually:
- First flash an working rom to your Nexus
- Flash the modified recovery using fastboot flash recovery xxxxx.img
- Flash the Multiboot ZIP using the recovery
- Flash the modified kernel ZIP using the recovery
Reboot and you will see the Multiboot boot selector
Currently I have JB and Ubuntu installed on my Nexus 7, trying to get WebOS and Bodhi working as well

What?
There is no Android Emulator to emulate other ROMs.
Only emulator i know is Terminal Emulator app and its used to enter commands and other advanced operations.
Its impossible to run 2 versions of Android at the same time.

Any developers working on this?

I don't think so,but I never say never
Even if someone manage to boot it I think it will lag as hell so I don't think there is any good reason for it....just my opinion though

ok,
seems interesting but im not that optimistic about it(firefox os)...
I'm not interested in this thing, so I'm neutral. As I see feherneoh have more knowledge about android than the most "dev", but I don't know this is enough or not to reach his own goals.
Try to be optimistic, maybe another dev join to this project.

Haha, look what I found, first Firefox os phone is made by ZTE which is using an arm6 processor & 250 MB of ram .
So it's compatible with a6 CPU & maybe our tiny RAM memory

hey i am new to this site so excuse me if im doing something rom
i was just wonderring that wherther there is a rom for galaxy note gtn700 with windows phone 8 , cause i got bored of sweetrom,
if there is please tell me a download link
or if theres a way to get full official windows phone 8,
thanks
It's not possible to install windows phone as it's Microsoft and totally locked down so there's no way to port it. Android being android does allow developers to create their own launchers though which are the front display packages. Try launcher 8, it's very good, use it myself...

Windows rom
I only got launcher 8
You've come to a developers forum without even knowing the name of the phone -.-
windows 8 rom
what ? of course i know i have a note 1 gt n700
Shlt. Maybe now it's the time to leave the internet...
There is no windows phone for unlicensed model phones. Windows phone is closed source, so you can copy the rom, that's not a problem, anyone can hack in and grab a rom dump, but there's no way to write the kernel with the drivers necessary to connect to all the hardware, so it would be completely useless and probably wouldn't even run on an unlicensed phone.

Can someone please link me to the dual boot, also do I need to wipe for it to work and what is the process on the dual boot?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
What you are looking for is MultiROM.
You will not need to wipe anything.
Once installed whenever you reboot your tablet it will boot to a menu where you choose which of your installed ROMs it boots to.

Not dual boot, but multi ROM. I'm pretty sure the only restriction on the amount of ROMs is your storage size.
Yes, you can run Ubuntu Linux.

Yeah, MultiRom is your only choice for booting more than one OS on the nexus 7.
