[Q] No Radio - and "process com.htc.htcdialer isn't responding" - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was running Android Revolution HD 52.0
My phone was unlocked, htc-off and rooted (of course)
Everything was running peachy. until..This morning, I noticed my phone didn't have reception.
I booted into recovery, and cleared cache/davlic - and let it do its thing
The phone rebooted 1/2 way through upgrading apps. then eventually rebooted all the way through.
After a few seconds - I get the "process com.htc.htcdialer isn't responding" wait / close
Waiting just brings it back - so does close - eventually.
I have no service/reception.
If i look in Mobile network settings - APN, Network mode/ network operators is disabled
Under software version - The baseband is "Unknown"
I tried updating radio - no go.
I tried updating to latest firmware 4.19.401.11
I tried updating to latest Android Revolution HD 61.1
When I stick in flight mode - it hangs - and i can't get it out of flight mode.
here's my getvar all output

Experiencing the same error and reboot cycle.
Restored to previous backups - same error.
Tried to install latest version of ROM (Viper) - fails.
Can't find a stock recovery to use (UK on Three network via TWRP).
At a dead-end here - can anyone offer any suggestions around what to try next?

Found this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2758035
Bit confused (and embarrassed) by not finding it before posting.
Anyway, looks like I'm entering the arena of hardware damage, probably around the SIM tray (though looking at it, there's no obvious problem - ie, to the untrained eye!) Before I go down that route, however, could anyone point me in the direction on an appropriate stock recovery. Here's my getvar...

Temporary fix / workaround
Hi guys
I've been struggeling with this for DAYS now where I've tried different solutions like going back to stock RUU, flashing different radios and ROMs.
Today I just flashed Onedroid Beta 21 ROM (get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522530) along with baseband 4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L
Don't ask me why I choose the specific combo... but it works! I sometimes get the "process com.phone has stopped working" error but it resets in a few seconds and the phone catches reception right away. So I can now do phone calls, send text messages and use 3G/LTE.
The phone still restarts but now it's very rare.
My specs:
OneDroid BETA 21
M7UL
CID: Y_13
S-Off
Unlocked
Rooted

No mobile connectivity after flashing ROM, NEED a fresh start

I recently flashed CM11 on my HTC one sprint to find out that there was no data connectivity, I was able to make calls and send text just not refresh apps over 3g etc. I did a factory reset and then tried flashing over CM 10 and still nothing. Went back and fourth and nothing. Tried Viper ROM and took everything off my phone and had to reinstall CWM onto it. Loaded CM 10 and 11 back onto it and still nothing. Tried GURU Reset method and the touch doesnt work but can still see theres no connection not even phone calls anymore. Is there a way to fix this or be able to start fresh. I dont care if I lose root, ill do it again, I just need my phone to work again.
Thanks for your help,

[Q][HELP] Issues after installing custom ROM

Hi everyone, could use some help with my One M7.
EDIT: Okay, i got passed the initial problem! I had to go into recovery and mount /system and everything. I can get into the phone again, however it's continuing to reboot every 2 minutes without warning.
After updating to the stock 4.4.2 my phone became more or less un-usable (no network, constant rebooting, dialer crashing at startup) so I unlocked my phone, installed TWRP and attempted to install a custom 4.3 ROM however it got stuck in a bootloop and corrupted my TWRP.
I can't use TWRP because none of the versions work, they all send me into a bootloop so I'm using ClockWork Mod.
After much frustration I managed to adb push a stock rom onto my phone and install that through CWM. After installing the new ROM i wiped system cache, dalvik cache and wiped all data, all good so far. I rebooted the phone and it started initializing the Android OS and shows me the lock screen. At this point I'm over the moon! However I go to unlock the phone and I'm greeted by the white HTC splash screen. Unfortunately this is as far as I've gotten. The phone just constantly reboots itself every 2 minutes and gets to the same point.
Does anybody know of any workarounds?
Much appreciated, you'll make my week if you can help me.

[Q] M7 stuck in boot loop after running RUU.exe

Hello everybody, hope everyone is having a better day than I am. I will try to keep this short but I am more than happy to provide more details as they are needed.
I picked up a replacement HTC One (ATT) after a warranty claim for a bad speaker and I immediately rooted it. After rooting the phone and before flashing a custom rom it started rebooting itself every couple of minutes. I went ahead and flashed a custom rom (many to be honest) and the phone booted up just fine, however, the phone would not recognize the sim card. I tried the sim card in a different phone and it worked fine. Then, with the sim card replaced, all of a sudden the phone worked for about 30 minutes. After that it started rebooting itself at will every couple of minutes. I decided that i must have flashed a bad file or something so i decided to go back to stock with RUU.exe. I locked the bootloader and ran the .exe from my laptop (windows 7) Now my phone i "relocked" and the RUU flashed a recovery that I can not get into. My boot screen now reads this
***relocked***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.55.0000
RADIO-4A.19.3263.13
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS-3.17.502.3
eMMC-boot 2048MB
(date and time)
this is the RUU.exe I loaded
RUU M7 UL JB43 SENSE50 MR Cingular US 3.17.502.3 Radio 4A.19.3263.13 10.38j.1157.04 Release 334235 Signed 2 - HTC1Guru
Now when I start my phone it loads to the ATT screen with the globe, sometimes plays the chim, and then goes to a white screen with the green HTC. after about a minute it reboots and loads to the exact same spot. It will do this until I enter the bootloader and power it down
I don't know what to do anymore as I have read about a thousand threads and I am getting confused on what the next step should be. I would greatly appreciate a point in the right direction.
Although the POS phone I am using with a modified sim card holder is pretty awesome
Thanks in advance
Get ATT to replace to it again?
there is more back story that I did not go into and i don't know if I can get it replaced again.
Now when I turn on the phone it loads to the initial start up screen where it ask to set up my account and set up wifi. but agian after a minute or so it just reboots and loads to about the same spot and then restarts.
I still think this is fixable
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
What software version are you on now? I'm not near a computer but my first thought is that because you are s-on, you can not run an RUU that is older than your current version. So if you are on KitKat now, you can't run a Jelly bean 4.3 ruu.
You would need to be s-off in order to do that.

to tell you the truth I don't know anymore because i have tried to load so many different things, how can I tell for sure?
another question...Now that I have a relocked bootloader can I try to rerun the RUU.exe file? I will check my getvar this evening to find the correct RUU but just don't know if this will work with a locked bootloader and no recovery.

Sure will work as long as RUU is same level as your phone
I would try re-running the RUU. Sometimes they don't do everything correctly. But done right, it should wipe your phone of any custom software and take you back to clean stock.
Finally made it back home I wanted to post my getvar all so please tell me if you see something bad

What about factory reset from bootloader?
42 22435958
Well I tried to RUU.exe again and now the phone will load to the setup. I went through that, but it is not recognizing my sim card. I can sign on to wifi which works and I can navigate the homescreens. after about 2 minutes the phone reboots itself and the whole cycle happens again. i tried to do a software update but with out the sim card being recognized it says Network not available. the signal bar has an "X" and it does not recognize when I try to remove the sim card to reposition it.
should I try a different RUU.exe file? Thanks for all the help, I think we are getting close. One thing I think is strange is when I ran getvar all, it has a strange line I noted it below. Anybody know what this means?

[Q] M7 - WiFi switch stays permanently Off.

Hi all,
Been looking at the suggested similar thread but none is either up to date nor they're particularly relevant to my situation.
* Info on my unit:
Htc one m7_UL,
Android 4.4.3,
Sense 6.0,
Software # 6.13.707.1,
SDK API 6.25,
Kernel 3.4.10-g4b41f8e [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT,
Baseband 4T.28.3218.04_10.33E.1718.01L
After having my device back from servicing (motherboard fried), the device functioned properly for about 2 weeks before the WIFI switch stopped turning on anymore.
* Troubleshoot performed:
- On normal device activity, WiFi switch is on Off. Pressing the switch to turn it on will result in it becoming slightly lighter grey (as if to turn on) and stay like that for about 15-20 seconds. Then go back to usual Off grey as if nothing happened.
- If I reboot the device, the WIFI would be 'On' and work for about a minute. It would search networks and/or connect to them as per normal. Then it would self-turn to Off for good. No chance to turn it back on until the next reboot.
- I tried factory resetting the device, the problem seemed solved for a few hours (maybe 1 day) but it started again as above.
I am not sure where the issue is, but based on this, it would seem to me that is more software based than anything.
I thought that could it be related to something ****ed up with the Radio or the kernel ? Is anyone able to confirm?
My phone is currently S-off'ed with Sunshine, Bootloader unlocked, rooted, with TWRP custom recovery. Stock ROM from HTC OTA updates.

This is driving me crazy. This particular HTC M7WLS is popping up this dialog "Allow Autonavi location service to collect anonymous location data ...." every now and then even though I have the location disabled in Settings. I do not want to enable location. How can I get rid of this?
The phone is rooted with S-OFF but bootloader is still locked and the current firmware is still on 4.4.2. Here are more phone info:

From my cursory research into Autonavi, it seems like some sort of Chinese bloatware (the company Autonavi was purchased by Alibaba). Did you install any apps just before you started getting the notices? That's definitely not a normal, built-in app.
No...I noticed this right after I put in a sim card. Before that I was installing apps on wifi.

Hmm, I really can't find anything about Autonavi. If you are running a custom ROM, maybe the app was put on there by the developer. If you are just running a stock ROM, then I don't know. Some options:
1. If you are rooted, use an app like Titanium Backup Pro or ROM Toolbox Pro to freeze the app. It may be listed under a system app.
2. Since you are s-off, you could install a different ROM or even run the RUU to get back to complete stock. That should take care of the issue.

I couldnt find any process pertaining to this autonavi app. So I decide to factory reset and it seems to have fixed the issue.
Yes I want to install a different ROM especially since stock Sense ROM seems to be draining quite a bit of battery. Im thinking of flashing to LP. But I'm reading up on the different variants of HTC M7, and I have other questions now. But its for another thread.
