I completely agree with @aditya rathee. Our Ace doesn't have the hardware specification for pulling out such a gesture. Hope I Helped

Is there an app where I can have my G1 dial me on demand?

I work nights and have a roommate that is brings random guys/girls over after I leave for work (or the neighbors are full of crap). I've confronted him about it but still says that he doesn't bring anyone over. I have my G1 and a work provided phone.
Question is, I have Remote Defense installed on my phone so incase it turns up missing I can track it. I plug my phone into the charger, fire up the voice recorder app and leave it by my bedroom door when I leave. Problem is, it fills up the SD card and I really don't care for reviewing only a few hours of audio thats too quiet and filling up my card every night.
Blah blah, I know. Remote Defense will lock your phone, track your phone. Is there an app that I can send a message to or remotely connect to dial me at work so I can check up?
Mucho Thanks!
There are fake call apps available to "get out of a situation", but none that will really call a number.
But daddy, why can' I have friends over? I'm an adult, can't I atleast decide THAT for myself?
I don't know your situation and I don't mean to be rude, but not letting a roommate have people over is kinda like being an asshole.. kind of..
Remote Defense sounds like a nice app, I did a search for it on the market and came up with no results. Has it been renamed or ???
Please provided apk ( if its a free app of course )
try NoiseAlert, i think it's something similar or better to what u looking for in a way.

[Q] Android remote control

Is it possible that doesn't exist a software for windows to control an Android device from desktop PC?? Android Screen Cast seems to be the one that works a bit, but not for every ROM (I have a Samsung I9000 with ICS ROM).
Also with Windows Mobile I was able to control my phone from my PC...Android seems to be far away for this purpose
I also tried other software, such as PicMe and others, but nothing...
Have you tried Airdroid?
Or is that not the type of app you were talking about?
I'm looking for a software that shows me the display of the phone. So I can control every thing from PC and not only some features.
Airdroid does just that
But it works only by wifi....I haven't wifi on my desktop pc in office...
edit: ok I logged in by usb teathering...I wil try this app...
Nothing, as I supposed it's not the app for me. It lets you to interact only with some features.
Pocket cloud and pocket cloud explorer both work over data connection too, although if the signal isn't good it may be a bit laggy

Try this... It's a teamviewer Quicksupport app and it's free, might be just what you're looking for.
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamviewer.quicksupport.market.samsung
But why do you need this? can't you just take your phone out of your pocket to check it?
But Teamviewer only works controlling a pc with thr phone. I thibk he mean control the phone with the computer

what your looking for is webkey.you can control you phone and see everything on the screen live from a pc or another android phone. And if you know what you are doing you can change icon and name of the apk and then install it as a system app to start when the phone turns on and runs throw 3g or WiFi.

Bluetooth allows it to connect to Bluetooth headsets and stuff from the app itself.
Disable keylock to allow you to accept calls from the app even when your screen is locked.
Audio record I'm guessing is to allow you to record from the app? But I'm not sure.
Viber has an SMS system in it...
Think of the others and how they can be implemented to HELP in using the app, rather than spy on you. Also, read all the conditions for all the other apps like it, and you will see that they are all very simular.
Use your common sense man, if it was malicious it would have been noticed officially and removed from the playstore.

Sending photos direct from camera? Pretty obvious really, this Thread is a waste of time and effort, there is nothing malicious there at all. Every thing can easily justified by valid functionality in the apps usage.

Yeah it is. There is a legit explanation for these permissions. I mean it's one of the most downloaded apps on the market and only HE decided to check the permissions?
viber
i dont know but i hope you read this carefully again
allows appplication to take pictuers and videos with the camera this allows the application at >>any time collect images the camera is seeing
THats on the website googleplay:
Allows the app to take pictures and videos with the camera. This permission allows the app to use the camera at >>>any time without your confirmation<<<<
i dunno you guys being so silly or brainwashed i dunno ? maybe you need to read more carefuly next time before you make fun off things you have no clue about -)
Well you can find excuses and say thats realy normal but its up to if you want to be 1 eyed or not =) + its up to you its your device and your life if you want an app control it its up to you but mine wont be =)

This is the ONLY way camera permissions are granted for an app. So the app developer has no choice but to include this permission whether he likes it or not. The "any time" part is beyond the developers control. Heck even Google Search requires this same permission. View the android manifest for more details. Don't be alarmed.
PS. Buddy I have rolled around in Android. So if you saying I have "no clue about" it is an understatement.
OP thanks for the Warning and Users will decide what they want to set their permissions for their apps. Thanks.

And which app would this be? There's an app like this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kodek.pebbletasker
for the gear?
I want to see my Cellphone screen, even with low resolution or only a part of it but with selection to can control like im using the cellphone.
Like it, but with the gear controling the cellphone. It could be useful to many things, like see your notifications after the gear show you have notifications.

It's the app in the gear themes and apps page

To the other guy, that would be really hard to do and kill your battery on both devices very fast but I do remember one app that could do that let me see if i can find it.

My samba filesharing dont drain my batery, i belive the system could work the same way. Is activated only when the program is loaded in the gear. View notifications, power up the videos and close the program dont take so long to drain the battery. i want this to be like a mouse, the cellphone will make all the work i want. I open the program open the video program, click to play and close the "mouse" then i can hear my video with the bluetooth phone.

[Q] keep open app with the screen off

hello, sorry for my english i translate with google help.
all app are to turn off the screen and close app , but I need something to keep me a particular app ( a game, COC) open , even the screen is off and the phone locked .
not if there is already a module , I can not find it and if so could you create something , oh God , be my herores once again.
thanks for all who support this community and all developers.
Thanks to everyone and they can help me .
So, what you would like is a way to close the app automatically when you lock your phone?
I would guess, since it's CoC, you want to hide that the app was open?
I think this would be better done with Tasker, but I'm sure someone would know better than I.

just the opposite. keep open the app with the screen turned off.
coc its the name of game, clash of clans. but it could be true for any application that needs to have the display on.

The issue with that game is that it needs an active Internet connection, which is closed when the screen is off with most kernels
Anyone know a fix?
