Last night I turned my phone off to save battery, as my Nexus 7 was using my charger. Bear in mind it was turned off at about 80-90% battery. Woke up this morning and wanted to check social networks etc. but it didn't turn on. No vibrations, no LED.

I tried connecting it to my PC, nothing happens and flashmode/fastboot won't start. My Dad took it to my carrier while I was at school and he said they just turned it on with a special button combination which I'm un aware of. Phone works fine now.

Flash stock FTF using flashtool , uncheck wipe data while flashing if you do not want to loose your apps and other things.
Hey thanks foe your reply I fixed it pressing the button on the back of the phone. My phone must have froze has I locked it after charge.

You mean the button behind the panel which says off
Yes lol. I almost cryd couldn't believe it. I went fishing and came home at dinner time because of this. Couldn't cope without my phone. Never experienced this before. I though I'd bricked it, charging my phone. I can sleep well tonight

I have had the Xperia T (LT30P) for only about 3 months now.
The phone crashed and shut down so I tried to turn it on again. There was no response, no led flashing or anything.
I tried charging for several hours. During charging the LED comes on red for a while, then goes off for less time. The red LED comes back on again. I think this may be a loop to do with kernal?
When attempting to power on the handset at this point, if it is not plugged in I get 3 flashes from the red LED, sometimes. Either that or NOTHING happens.
When attempting to power on, and it is plugged in. There is no response at all.
I have tried the Hard reset and soft reset but there is no response, no vibrate and no luck.
My PC will not recognise it being plugged in, neither will EMMA (the flashtool) nor PC Companion. This means that I can not reinstall kernals or firmware or anything!
I sent it off to be repaired but I have the EU version so the UK repair centre just sent it back to me un-repaired.
Any help with this will be much appreciated!
Let it charge for at least 24 hours, then try to turn it on our hard-reset. If that doesn't work it probably has to be repaired.

No I didn't. Before I lay it down to the bed I was using its camera and the phone was all fine, as in all fine then I put it to sleep. I laid it down on the bed to take a photo of it using my brother's phone and then when I was about to use it, it's not waking up upon pressing the power button.

Really strange. I've left my phone at home since I cannot use it for 3hrs and when I cam back it's still not usable and the weird thing is it's warm/hot. Do you think this can be resolved by a service repair? I wanted this for a replacement instead to be honest. I have two issues now on this phone. 1st is the yellow hue then second is this one. Do you think I have enough reasons for a replacement? This is purchased from an OL shop by the way it's almost 2mos old which is way beyond the 3-day manufacturer's warranty of the OL store.
well hope its not a motherboard problem. you can always try to bring it to sony service center.
if you have no warranty coverage then you will have to pay.
Connect it to the charger, wait for a couple of minutes, Hold VOL up and power button for about 3 minutes (or until it vibrates) and then leave it in wall charger for 1 hour. Don't try to turn it on!
Now connect it to PC, hold VOL up and power button, when it vibrates release everything and hold the volume down button (might need to repeat and try to get it in flashmode), if you succeeded in getting it in flash mode, try to flash a ftf from here using Flashtool.
Regards,
~J2C

Well I really do hope so. Up until now it is still not usable. I will just try to demand for a replacement even if it's beyond the 3-day replacement period as this is definitely something I'm not happy about.

Return to seller or Samsung if you haven't voided you warranty, but if they can't turn it on then they won't know that it's rooted...
This has just happened to me, except I put my phone on charge as I do every night, and this morning nothing. Dead phone.
Tried different battery, different charging lead, different button combinations...nope, my S3 Mini is dead
I was hoping it would last until the Nexus 6... may have to see what other phones are on the market instead now.... gutted!

Don't bother turning it on! Claim your warranty by sending it to Samsung and they will fix it since they won't know it's rooted if the phone doesn't turn on
