[Solved] arhd 61.1 - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is ARHD compatible for every HTC ONE phone?

Yes it should be
---------- Post added at 12:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:56 AM ----------
Just click on my banner and read if there is listed an exception
But there should be no problem
Perhaps you have to install a different TWRP version if you don't have the international Htc One
Just google twrp and look if there is something written on the site
---------- Post added at 12:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:01 PM ----------
Yeah there is only an exception for the sprint htc one
So if you have a sprint then just flash this twrp
http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/171
For the rom zip file nothing change
So just download ARHD 61.1 at
http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.com/p/android-revolution-hd-mirror-site-var.html?m=1

International HTC One with S-OFF is compatible with all ROMs in the Android and Original Android development pages. ARHD 61.1 will work properly on S-ON as well. The latest TWRP currently is 2.7.0.0, which ull find on their download page.
Also, for optimal performance, its better that ur firmware version is also the latest

you can check what model you have either by looking at bootloader screen, or doing a "fastboot getvar all" -> what you're looking for is M7_U/M7_UL (GSM) or even M7_WLS (Sprint / CDMA)
PS: if your phone is a Dual-SIM, then ARHD is NOT compatible!!
here's the info you should look at about different versions available of ARHD Sense Edition:
[INFO & FIXES] Android Revolution HD 31.6, 53.0, 61.1 and FIXES

The most current RUU for my phone is Voda-Hutch_AU_2.27.862.1 where as my software number installed on my phone is 2.29.862.1. Is there somewhere I can request this update for my phone or someone that can do it for me as I still have under ten posts and unable to post in developer forums.

What is the latest Sprint Firmware?

my ONE is on 100.20.0913-3
yea thats the latest and is the 4.3 update as far as i know. There was a sense 5.5 rollout but i think thats only to the google play editions
If it was an official Rollout then it'd be to the UL variation, not GPE.
Where can i download the latest firmware.zip?
Hi, I just obtained S-Off on my Sprint One and I'm having trouble figuring out what firmware to flash. Can someone point me to the latest one for Sprint? I was browsing through these, but wasn't sure: http://arhd.onedroid.net/db_mirror/Firmware/index.php?dir=HTC/HTC_One/
Thanks.

My touch screen has become unresponsive after flashing? Thoughts? Thanks again.
You flashed the firmware with the new touch panel in it. That firmware only works with the latest TWRP and 4.3 based roms. So flash the latest TWRP image and then a 4.3 based Rom.

Careful buddy, you have a Sprint/CDMA phone (but with a strange CID), most of us here have m7_u / ul models (GSM) not m7_wls (sprint / cdma).
Better check http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-one or http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one
and post your getvar wherever you post (copy/paste is preferred over a screenshot, it's more visible), because your modelid and cid are quite unique

Afaik, there is no stock rom/guru reset rom, no RUU and no nandroid backup available for your phone CID. So I highly doubt it will be possible to revert it back to stock atm. Maybe you should consider flashing a custom rom for wls variant.

you should be fine using a sprint rom (wls rom)
You might have to edit the andoid-info.txt to include your cid
Give it a try.
Your HBOOT says "RELOCKED", does that mean you tried to relock your bootloader with the unlock code from htcdev? If you did then you should try to unlock your bootloader using the same procedure and flash a custom recovery. With that you can flash a custom rom. You may have better luck finding the right rom for M7_WLS at the Sprint HTC One forums.

Help identifying M7 model for update

I've bought a HTC M7 smartphone some time ago and it's currently on android 4.4.3
When I try to update under the sys update section on android it gives me the message saying its already up to date.
So I went to the HTC support site and downloaded every model there was to download (Cingular, TMO, Sprint, ACG, and unlocked/developer)
For my surprise none of this worked, so now I don't know how to update it or even how to look for the right stock ROM.
How can I identify which brand or which ROM I need to look for, in order to update to 5.0?
Thanks in advance! :fingers-crossed:

well im not surpised you are not getting any updates. The .599 version sucks at being updated. My phone also was a .599 version and i converted it to another version to fix this problem. If you want to convert it like I did, you'll have to achieve s-off first (only the sunshine app can s-off hboot 1.57).
btw .599 is for latin america/Los Angeles region.
I'll definitely do that, so I have to download the app, install on my HTC, make it s-off and flash a custom rom?

install android 4.4 kitkat on hboot 1.61 s-on

If I don't unlock with sunshine, what are my options? I tried flashing the boot image with fastboot before running the google play rom zip on twrp. That boot looped the phone for awhile before I was able to recover.
I have lollipop 5.0.2, rooted, unlocked, s-on.
you can follow @alray's guide on how to "downgrade" with S-on here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59436794&postcount=2 . its quite confusing though. After that just flash a custom recovery and flash your desired kitkat rom

Just to avoid confusion or even a bricked phone - you can't downgrade that far with @alray's tutorial. That is ment only for firmwares with the same hboot, and KK firmware has a different hboot.
dey tuuk ur juurbs
^^exactly, you can downgrade versions as long as the hboot of the version you want to downgrade to is the same version of your actual hboot. Kit Kat is 1.57 and Lollipop is 1.61 so this method won't work.
