Your SD was probably wiped sorry to say but those files are gone mate

WIPED......!!!!!
Yeah. Sorry mate, your SD Card may have been wiped. Try using data recovery software like Recuva for Windows.
Connect your phone to PC -> Start Recuva -> Recover files.
Around 60-80% files may be recovered.
So I've been having problems with my internal memory, so I decided to try it out. The first problem came upon rebooting my phone. It said something like "android.process.acore stopped working". So I decided to just format the card again, but the place for swap was gone (about 200 mb-s), so I decided to format the whole thing to FAT 32. At first, the phone didn't boot. Then I wanted to reinstall TheWhisp's CM 10 mod which I've been using, but CWM recovery said that mounting the SD Card failed. I read somewhere that going back to a stock rom might help, but nope. I still installed CWM Touch 5.0.2.8, but it still can't mount my sd card. Can anyone please help me? The stock rom is stuck in a bootloop, so I can't use the phone.

Are u sure u removed the ext partition before u tried booting up your phone? Having an ext partition without a2sd would cause bootloops. If you have removed the partition, then have you removed the init.d file from cm10?

Thanks for the answer but I've solved it since then. Simply had to reformat two or three times, now it works. The only problem is that when I remove the card and put it back ES file explorer does not see it, but that's nothing.
First I'd like to thank you for spending time to help me out with my problem. I've tried to handle the problem on my own for the past 2 days, and amount to nothing. I've searched the internet about this issue, and tried to adb pull my photos and tried to flash using ODIN v3.07. But the device doesn't seem to be able to be detected by few computers I've tried. I've changed different cables to see if it would help, but it doesn't help either. I've also tried to use Odin v3.04 to see if it helped.
Problem: Galaxy note is stuck at the samsung logo and cannot continue to main screen.
Cause: Removed battery to take memory card out, after that, reinsert the SD card and the problem occurs. (Battery was also at the low)
Needs: Recover photo from phone
Prevent: Factory reset
What the phone does:
Samsung Mobile USB composite successfully connected
Can get to download mode
What it can't:
Samsung MTP USB failed to connect
Not detected in ODIN v3.07
Phone Condition:
GT N7000 (International version)
Have never been rooted before
1 year 3 months age
Thank you so much for your attention, I hope all you "GURUs" can help out a noob like me.
photos? are those saved in the gallery? taken by cam?
if yes the factory reset doesnot erase that...
1. try booting without the sd card..
2. I dont know which rom were you on .. hopefully ICS.even if no.. download http://www.mediafire.com/?wsmj7fytof14bf1 & http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1408182&stc=1&d=1350455938 and place it on sd card..
then boot into recovery and choose apply update from external storage.. choose the kernel (1st zip Philz) you downloaded and install..
once done.. power off the phone and reboot into recovery .. CWM should be there..
go to mounts and storage and choose mount usb storage and conenct to PC.. check if you can get the drives there... (may take a few secs)
if no.. then install the 2nd zip.. aroma file manager.. this will give you a file manager in recovery... you can copy required files from the internal SD to external SD. then power off and remove the sd card..
Thank you so much!
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! Thanks to you, I can have a good night sleep. :fingers-crossed: You're clearly a Guru! Better than the staff's I've consulted from Samsung Service. Again, thank you!
did you manage to recover the photos? how?
I used the first kernel (Philz) and updated the phone through SD card, mounted the USB through CWM and connect to my computer. Then I got the notification from my computer it got detected. Yeah! Haha, thank you so much!
Now, trying to figure out is it possible to flash odin using this technique.
no...
but you could try doing a factory reset.. .. and check if the phone boots up.. keep in mind that you now have an ICS kernel.. so if the rom was ics then the phone may boot up.. but if it was JB or GB then it wont..
you can also try to install a custom rom from here..
Thank you so much for your insights. Sorry to bother you, but which Custom Rom do you recommend? I'd like to have an experts point of view.
hmmm thats really hard to answer... but you could try JB for note. like eybees, or ulitmate and more..

Sir
newbie here.My device isn't rooted.Yesterday, I downloaded Marshmallow update 6.0.1.At 43%,I started the update.I thought it will complete in that.you know, the logo and all came.I watched it updating till 85% then got on with my work. Then,I felt a vibration.I saw it rebooting and then it showed samsung logo in all white. It wouldn't move forwards after that.I heard 3 vibrations periodically. The 1st one...4 sec gap...and then the 2nd & 3rd vibrations in quick succession. And it would go on infinitely until the battery discharged.I plugged it in the wall charger and then I noticed the charging has also become very slow.I left it for charging at 6 AM and till now(12:14pm),its just 58%.I read in a thread about force restrat and quickly going into recovery mode.I wiped the cache partition hoping it would solve the problem but it didn't. I couldn't understand the rest of the part,so I didn't try.I selected power off option and right now it is charging.I have important data stored on the internal storage so I fear doing a factory reset.I also have fingerprint lock on it so I have no idea how to connect to PC and use.I got no idea about flashing roms.Is there any possible way to revert back to lollipop? I just want my data before I do something. Please help.I really want my data.I can manage without the tab.
I want to recover photos and no,they were not taken by camera.Rather, they were transferred to the device via sharing apps and I deleted other copies. Please help.I need my data.
I stay far away from solo kernels. Only if it is packed i a recovery file.Till now, i don't have problems, whatever I try to do with my Note.
From 4.1.2 to 7.1.1, no problem.

I know this is an old thread and these files probably are not up to date either. Hope someone can help.
I tried the philz zip and it went by quick but I believe I got a "signature not verified error."
I tried the aroma zip and I think it said "incorrect footer?"
Thanks for any help.
Hello all,
I am banging my head against a brick wall with this problem and would be very grateful if anyone could help! anyway..3 days ago i was browsing music on my phone when it rebooted itself and then became stuck in a boot loop. After trying everything known to man i finally was able to get the phone to boot up by flashing the XXJPU_XXJPU_OXAJPU_Sbl ROM via Odin using the 512 PIT and then re-flashing the PDA with speedmod-kernel-k13e-500hz.
The problem i now have is, the phone boots up as normal but my internal SD card is showing up as unavailable..is there anything i can do to bring the internal SD back online? i badly want to retrieve the photo album pics.
I have tried using speedmod to repartition the card but it fails to mount..is there anything i"m missing here? i"m really hoping the SD card is not permanently corrupted..
Any help here guys?? surely someone has a solution to this problem i can try!!?

I have the same problem, but unfortunately can't find a solution. Have you gone back to stock?
Factory reset or formatting /data might solve it.
However, on the costs of all your data so make sure to backup all.

Drhedphuk: I flashed back to the original Froyo 2.2.1 rom that the phone came with but it would not boot with the stock PDA kernel which is why i used the speedmod kernel to stop it boot-looping. I have not found a way to fix the internal SD card error which is:
E:Cant mount /dev/block/mccblk01 (or /devblock/mmcbkl0) (no such file in directory) Error mounting /mnt/sdcard/.android_secure! skipping format... Data wipe complete.
The above error occurs when i try a factory reset and i get a similar error when i try to format the SD card.
tetakpatak: I could not find a way to backup the data since i cannot find a way to mount or access the internal SDcard to retrieve any data off it. I am almost ready to give up on this phone sadly.
Hey so my phone fell off this morning and i thought everything was alright, then i restarted it and it would only access to the CWM 6.0.4.7 recovery mode, i've been trying all things, wipes, when i hit wipe data/factory reset, it resets at the middle of the process, if i try to backup/reinstall rom from the external sdcard it fails giving me an "Status 0" error, i can only assume this is happening because of the fall...
What can i do?
Please help, really desperated
Someone please help? it's very needed and i'm in a hurry

Maybe the internal SD card broke because of the fall.
If that's the case then the only thing you can do is to install a ROM in the external SD card.

So... if that was the case, how can i fix the internal SD? Or how can i install the ROM in the external SD?
Also, the recovery menu only apperas if i have my external SD inside, if i get it out, the cellphone just gets to the Samsung Galaxy S screen...
Read the following:

Okay guys im reading but i really don't understand, i'm a completey ignorant in this topic, i don't want to screw this but i really don't understand anything...
Can someone help me? After spending the whole night reading i finally did it and i restored my phone back to the stock rom installing it in my external SD, i made two partitions, one of 10gb in fat 32 and the another one 4gb ext3 (used this for the system), but now i can't use the camera because the "usb storage is connected" and the external sd cannot be mounted...
why is this happening? please help!
desperated bump
Also, i have some backups made with the CWM recovery but i really can't advance if i don't have the sd...
Read this.
You tried flashing Stock? If that doesn't work, take the device to a Samsung Service Center.

I installed stock rom on external sd, then did this and i was and it worked, then updated to 2.3.6 and flashed CWM Recovery, after that i updated to 10.2 CM and then to 11, then i used NeatKernel for Kitkat and swtiched the external to internal and my phone is fully working now.
Thank you very much guys
