hello everyone, just wanted to recommend you guys what i see is the best full body protection for the phone. its a full body wrap that is very slim and doesnt give touch problems or even glare anyhow if you tired it please give us a feedback. i tried it before on my HTC butterfly S and it was amazing i used my phone for 6 months then sold it without a scratch!
you can buy it directly from here:
http://www.clear-coat.com/htc-one-2-m8-screen-protector-case-skin-cover-shield.html
That looks really nice. I might buy it. Thanks for the heads up!
I prefer the Best Skins Ever Matte body kit. Much better feel than the other ones I've tried (including the Skinomi I've got currently installed). Can't wait for my BSE to arrive. Had it on my M7 and it was perfect. Great customer service too.

I've had the Best Skins before, but never tried the matte. Didn't even know they made matte. Just ordered it. Thanks! :good:
what about orange peel. Does this happen with this product?

The zagg for the m8 goes beyond the glass screen on to the speakers. For me that caused bubbles and I promptly removed it in favor of the protector that came with my commuter.

Most people are to impatient when applying it or when paying someone to apply it. You shouldn't put it in your pocket or put a case on it for a couple days after applying.
the best protection in my opinion and the cheapest is tpu case from ebay and matte screen protectors . for 2$ your phone is fully protected...of course not from water...fot that you will spend some cash
I have never actually liked covers at all, they just take the beauty of the phone away. I pretty much stick with screen protectors and most of the time I buy them from ebay (got to save $$$$).
With sellers like Spigen, Zagg, Gearmaxx, I do think we save a lot.
Happy saving !

Very true, got to save $$ and I do mine from ebay as well. Having owned several expensive phones, accessories are important for them. Screen protector, have been buying from ebay (gearmaxx) and I am pretty pleased with what I have received thus far.

As someone mentioned best skins ever is very nice and half the price too. I had the matte body for it but the bottom didn't stick all the way down and gradually collected lint and stated to peel off. I returned it and bought dbrand skin and a cheap tempered glass from cailifu found on amazon. I really like the glass feels just like the naked phone. The back skin should arrive sometime this week

Anyone tried any clear back body skin and can recommend it to get some more grip on this slippery phone?

I don't really like putting my gadgets in cases that make them any more bulky than they already are, and I've been using an Invisible Shield full-body set for my Tilt since '07. I ordered an Incredible S, and it seems there is a screen protector offered from ZAGG for the Inc S. I've had good mileage with the protectors for the Tilt, so here's to hoping they offer a full-body kit for the Incredible S as well as just the screen film.
They seem to do it already, here -

Well looking at this they should do pretty soon anyway!
They only have the screen protector on the manufacturer site (ZAGG), though I'd imagine the full body protection can't be far behind. Then again, the unique back may prove to be a challenge.

I have an HTC Touch HD2 since one year and this is my first telephone with capacitive screen. I did not put any screen protector because the screen in made of glass so actually very difficult if not impossible to scratch. And after one year the screen has no sign of scratch. So, because the Incredible is capacitive screen too, so made of glass, what is the purpose of a screen protector?
Thanks
Stefano
I don't know about you, but I treat my gadgets pretty badly. I treat technology as a whole as a means to an end. I stuff my phone in my pocket with keys, I toss it across the table to friends, I generally abuse it. When I told my father you could take notes on my phone, he wrote on it with a ballpoint pen...
I use a screen protector, no matter what.
I'm also waiting on the official release from ZAGG for the Invisible Shield screen protector for my Incredible S.

The screen protection is available for something like 15 dollars, but full body protection still isn't available. I asked whether or not it was in the works, but got an evasive response... We might not be getting full body protection for it so I'm starting to keep an eye out for soft-touch cases (silicone, rubber-feel hard cases etc.).

It has Gorilla Glass (by Corning) which is tempered and resistant but not scratch proof. Eventually, it does get scratched which is why I'd like a screen protector as well.
The problem with screen protectors is they're cut so they cover the front camera and unfortunately that degrades the image quality of a camera that's already pretty limited.
I'll have to look into the XtremeGuard, but the main reason I like ZAGG is I've had their full body kit for my Tytn II for 3 years, and it has seen a ton of abuse. The skin did eventually get scratched, which I e-mailed ZAGG about and they offered a free replacement. I didn't really mind the scratch (it was on one of the side strips) so I didn't bother, but I like the way their representatives handled the situation.
All of the screen protectors I have received with cases for my IS (I have tried 3 different makes) have had a cut-out for the front facing camera

I ordered me an extreme guard screen protector off ebay for 2.99. Just like Zagg but way cheaper. I was gone do full body for 4.99 but I have my phone in a case. I think a case holds up against the impact of a drop better than a full body skin.

Contacted CaseMate (USA) a few days ago via Twitter and they said ETA for IS cases will be mid-April. Although Barely There cases are already being sold on eBay.
I have a bad impression about case-mate.
Sent from my HTC Incredible S using XDA App
This is pretty good news. I was going back and forth between a hard or silicone/rubber case and a full-body invisible shield (though they still haven't offered a hint as to whether or not one will be offered), but since the IS is actually quite reasonable in size I could go with a case-mate...
Here in the UK i recently brought the Casemate barely there from my local carphone warehouse and it seems to be, so far as i haven't actually dropped the phone yet, a good case. As the name suggests adds very little exta bulk to the phone.
Also it comes with a screen protector
The screen protector is already available and the rest of the cases are expected to be available for purchase in Europe in the middle/end April
I've had quite good experience with the Case-mate barely there cases, they provide the adequate protection with a range of colour choices also.
But at the same time I am deciding between several other cases as well, I definately won't be investing on more than one case though, for I don't see myself keeping the phone too much longer, around 6 months perhaps when the summer holiday comes and we may see a few more surprises.
PDair HTC Incredible S Leather Case
]HTC Hard Shell
They all have their own selling points, I have never really had to complain about both Case-Mate and PDair but they serve different purposes for me in someways, the Case Mate is alot more casual, and the PDair is mainly for work.
The Hard Shell shown by Mobilefun seems a reasonable choice but price is TBC, if it had other colours coming soon it would be great as well.
Thank you for the links. I'm just wondering : what is the difference between the "barely there" and the "safe skin" models?

Safe Skins are soft silicone and they cover all the back and outer edge on the front part of the phone.
Barely There covers are hard, with rubbery finish, that covers the back and the sides but not the upper and lower edge of the phone.
Correct me if I am wrong
I just bought a barely there case from this guy:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CASE-MATE-BAR..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item1e6249dccc
Ignore the picture as that is of the tough case, the barely there case doesn't cover the top or bottom edge of the phone. It is light, tough and worth having, and this eBay seller was very quick to dispatch too, would highly recommend. I will take some photos when I get home tonight.

Needed case and screen protector in India
Hi, I'm from India. Just got my I-S and found that HTC ships without a pouch or screen protection. I realise that casemate and expansys are EU/UK based and have no delivery in India. I have used PDAir for my earlier phone. Can anyone guide me in finding a retailer in India? I am interested in the gel/TPE/silicone cases. Tks.

I used eBay, the prices were good and the product was retail packaging so if they ship to India I would recommend them, link is a few posts up.
A week ago, Cyber Monday, I took advantage of ZAGG's 1/2 off of everything sale. I bought the maximum protection for the Revo($24.99) and the Kindle Fire($34.99) for a total of about $30. Despite having a little trouble applying the complete case; front, back, both sides, bottom bar, it looks great! With the Body Glove case over the phone, I feel much safer now.
I always wanted one of those full body ZAGGs. It look good and feel alright in your hand?

I use what's called ghost armor found it in the mall near me. Can't tell anything is on it and finders glide nicely. Lifetime warranty too!
GINGERVOLTED!
Love the ZAGG.
Tried a few cheapo eBay protectors in the past, and they didn't last like this one.
I bought one of those gel protector cases from the Verizon store when I bought my phone, but within a week found it to be annoying and made the phone feel larger so I did away with it. About 6 months now without one, and no scratches or anything to speak of. Feels so much better in my hand/pocket, too.

I went through half a dozen of cheap ebay screen protectors from different sellers hoping I will find that diamond in the rough Didn't happen. I even tried premium ones, like Spigen. Now, I'm on iSmooth and appreciate it more No matter how many reviews you read/watch, you make the final call on what you like!
I think a diamond in the rough is tech armor. I really like it and Recco it. I an a sucker for good deals on screen protectors though.

So, if you found tech armor to be the best, why do you continue searching for other ones, and I assume testing them out? I'm in kind of in a same boat, went through a bunch where some were too thin, others too thick, some left s-pen marks, others had annoying rainbow effect, and some didn't stick as well. Now, I settled on iSmooth and don't want to remove and reapply anything else. Even with my last "final" install I didn't clean up phone screen 100% and probably left a tiny area around home button oily where I see sp didn't make a good contact (my fault). But I just don't want to rip it off, clean the phone and re-apply it again. I too love good deals, but don't want to keep reapplying new sp. Now, got UAG case on order and that one comes with its own screen protector which some say is a good quality. Plus, Scott/JLG mentioned in another thread he will be coming up with dry install sp... It never stops lol!!!
I like screen protectors. Cell phones and screen protectors are my hobbies. My favorite one that requires soap water is phantomskinz and I have tried them all. I just got into these dry installs a I am very impressed. I like to test them out and I keep going back to tech armor
one quick question, does this sp cover the whole phone, or leave a few sections such as top or bottom.
alas...the code is no more..
There was a problem

Coming from an M7, I've always used a Zagg on my phone. i really like their sceeen protectors, and they offer free replacements, which is great for when I screw up on the application. Just checked out the Zagg for the M8, and really dont like the design choice they made to have the protector cover the area near the speakers as well (pictured HERE).
So I have a few questions---
1. Does anybody have a Zagg for their M8, and does it look bad? Does the weird shape and design choice bother you?
2. What are some Zagg alternatives. I don't mean the cheap protector that feel like crap and come from 5 in a box, I mean high end (wet install preferably) well made ones. Do any other companies offer unlimited replacements?
3. Finally, would you recommend tempered glass instead? How do theyt compare to screen protectors, and what is the best brand to get taking price into consideration.
Thanks!

this thread has you covered
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691879
I've used a variety of different wet application screen protectors and found Zagg to be one of the worst - overpriced and rubbery feeling. I always found Best Skins Ever and Ultimate Shield best value when it comes to wet applys.
Tempered glass is in a different league, feels so much better than any other protector. Check the thread linked above for recommendations.
Tempered glass is the way to go, bought my first one a few weeks ago, will never buy a plastic screen protector again. iBlason is the brand I got. Cheap, .2mm glass. I love it, no complaints from me.
