Two scammers in one day

So I'm attempting to buy an iPad to use it to show clients photos, instead of printing portfolios. So I turn to good ol' craigslist. Got 2 scam replies. I see they are getting more clever. lol.

Hey, sorry for the delayed response, but someone already bought the iPad and
picked it up. You might want to try and buy one where I bought mine at. It's
an auction site kind of like ebay that has quite a few iPads.
I am usually able to pick them up there between $130 and $160, I think it's so
cheap because the site is newer and there aren't many bidders yet. Anyways,
I'd recommend you shop there if your still in need of an iPad. The site is
called BIDSAROO.com. I just checked and it looks like they have one
ending soon and the bid is at $53 so far.
When I signed up they gave me this coupon to give to friends, but I haven't used
it yet. Your more than welcome to use it, but I think it expires tomorrow. It's
good for placing some free bids on any auction. The coupon is: free3042

P.S. Here is a little secret I'll pass on to you. Right now there is a glitch/hack
on the site that will allow you to block other people from bidding on the item.
When you place a bid, hold down the enter key until the auction counts down to 0.
This should allow you to win any auction instantly. But I'm not sure how long it
last, I'm sure the site is working on fixing the glitch/hack.

The ipad is still available and I hope you are still interested. The ipad was bought brand new from Apple a few weeks ago.
About the ipad I can say it's in perfect shape, as I used it only for a few weeks. Included in the $450 price is everything that came with the ipad.

They're just hoping you'll skim over that since it doesn't really make any sense, not until you get the first part anyway...
Deception is fraud, so even though it doesn't say you're actually buying an iPad what they're doing is against the law.

gotta disagree on that, many user on xda for example put USD and EURO even tho they are in the UK. i do that on Ebay also.

Not being able to do it in person is generally a red flag for me that it's a scam. I couldn't care less if the message comes from the Queen of England.

Yeah I'd pay that price easily. Nexus one is still my phone of choice if that can be believed. Just check that its in decent condition.

I paid $325 for mine. Totally worth every penny.

[Q] Moto Care

Has anyone been able to get Moto Care for their Nexus 6 purchased through Motorola yet?? I don't see the option for it on the Moto Care page, and was told that it would be supported. And don't we have 30 days from when we received the device? Thought Moto would have this together by the time the devices started getting to people

Motorola also indicated that they will not support devices purchased from Google with MotoCare. They will only support direct Motorola.com purchases, which I think is rather ****ty since when I placed my order I did not know they were going to offer it direct.

One time, I think its $85. There is a deductible too if you need a replacement device. I think deductible is like $35.

Yeah, makes sense its a bit more for the Nexus 6. There appears to be an issue with moto site atm. I added to cart and checked out. When I click process order it doesn't work and gives a message of "items in your cart are no longer available".

You have 30 days so I wouldn't stress on it today

I've never tried square trade and this is my first time trying MotoCare. It looks to be pretty comprehensive.

I bought one last night on eBay, DHL shipping from South Korea and it is almost here already - delivery is scheduled for tomorrow so 1.5 days (I ordered it around midnight Wednesday morning, it will be here in my grubby hands by Thursday afternoon).

haha yep I had the same idea. As much as it hurts the wallet, I'd rather spend big once and not have to live with regret for the next 2ish years until I upgrade again.

Damn, Do post pics when it arrives. Would love to see it.

With the faster storage onboard, its worth the extra to get the 256, (I guess you can get a UFS card to make the smaller ones have more storage, but i'm planning on using the TF slot to take my camera's SD card so i can edit and post photos I take with my regular camera on the go).
Good to know I wont be the only one looking for information for the Korean model XD

Let us know if that works, I might purchase it if so although I never bought any warranty for my phones before so maybe I'll just keep chancing it.

Found out that upsie will insure it. They said no worries if it cant be fix they will have one shipped out if something happens to it
