are the roms for xperia ZR c5503 works on c5502 ??? and what 'll happen if i flashed a c5503 rom on my xperia ZR c5502 ??
my c5502 installed with carbon rom for zr, and It detected as c5503 and runs well, I'm sure this rom is for 5503, well you better try, just back up first
the only difference is LTE. a 5503 rom will work without any issues on 5502, only no LTE (duh )

If your phone was hard bricked, it should be completly dead right now..

Thanks Destroyedbeauty for your help but I already fixed because I downloaded another Stock .253 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240614. and it works. I choose .253 though. I dont know why those 3 ftf dont work for my xperia z. I use those to upgrade and root. Can I go to the latest .244 from .253?
I already on .244 I only needed to flash the stock kernel 700+mb file and finish rooting it. problem solved

Sony's 4.3 has always had lag when installing apps.
No way to fix it that I know of. Its a lot better in 4.4 custom roms though still occasionally get a lag when installing from play store but doesnt freeze the whole phone.

Same version number but thats all, Sony messed up 4.3 badly hence why we had so many versions of it (including their internal test versions).

My z1 had a bug so I flashed C6903_14.4.A.0.108_Customized UK.ftf via flashtool.
Now whenever I try to install a ROM (CrDroids new lollipop build) it says this zip is for Honami devices not Togari.
My device is a c903 honami!
How can I fix this?
Cheers!
EDIT: FINALLY fixed it! Reflashed FTF, relocked bootloader, updated via SUS, flashed Doomkernel, installed 5.0

Yeah definitely, got it from the z1 ftf collection. Fixed now though and I updated the op with instructions in case anyone hits the same situation

Hi Guys,
As the Title suggests, I have a Xperia Z1 C6902 Variant. As Everybody knows, A year ago Sony AOSP recovery program started, I was pretty glad to hear it and loved to try it. But when I checked on EMMA (flashtool for Xperia Devices), It said No services available. I thought they will add it in a few days and kept checking. Finally, I got feed up with it and didn't care, becoz the stock Kernel in-built recovery was working fine. But now, As many in-built recoveries were removed, This has become as necessary. Can anyone confirm that they have a AOSP on-boot recovery in their C6902 variant of Xperia Z1, if so can you guide me through on how u got it? That would be great.
Thanks in Advance.
