I had this problem for a couple of weeks for now but its getting kinda annoying. Every time I reboot my phone and when I unlock the phone it takes a few minutes and then it force closes. Dose anybody know what the problem is or how to solve the problem thanks for who helps.
Do you have it installed on your SD?

It doesn't happen to me on stock CM7, but it happens to me when using the Honeybread theme. No clue why..but for whatever reason it only happens on boot up. Just select force close and it's fine.

I'm using honeybread as well so that's the problem I'm guessing.

This has been happening to me for a while as well. On both enomther and CM7 nightly.
Currently on CM7 44 and every boot goes something like this:
Boot > open lock screen > hangs for ~10-15 sec > force close option pops up > I click wait > ~ 10 sec later it frees up and I'm good to go.
I've tried clearing LP data, uninstall/reinstall. I don't run a bunch of apps or theme or really put much more than what comes with the roms I'm using, so I don't know what is causing it. It's kind of annoying seeing that this never used to happen with LP before like a month ago.
I made the mistake of installing the "Easy Battery Saver" app on my LG Revolution with Gingervolt 1.3. Then my phone wouldn't connect to anything sometimes and rebooting would cause a lot of force closes, so I removed it.
Now I get no 4G whatsoever and occasional Wifi disconnections. Anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Thanks.

Not sure why it did that but I would try just wiping and reflashing.

I was afraid of that. Is booting into recovery and choosing wipe data/factory reset ok?
Guess that will teach me to back my stuff up...
Wipe Data/Factory Reset got the 4G back. Now I need to set up my accounts/apps again...

That's the only safe way to wipe data.

Did the same thing today and found this solution. I know its too late for you but maybe it can save the next person a reflash.

I saw that thread and downloaded that app, but I didn't really see anything in the apns which said"4G" so I wasn't really comfortable with it. The wipe/reset ended up not being so bad... It helped me get rid of some of the crap I never used anyway..
I just had to do the exact same thing a few days ago.(wipe and reflash gv 1.3) that app sucks, stay away from easy battery saver!

Hey everyone,
I flashed ICS a few days ago and then a day or two later flashed rocket rom. I am not really sure if this problem happened before rocket or not.
My phone randomly "shuts off". Maybe it doesn't wake up, I don't know how to tell the difference. I have to either pull out the battery or do a hard reset sometimes.
Any suggestions as to what I should do? Go back to gingerbread? Or reinstall rocket? flash a different ROM (midnote, etc)?
Thanks everyone!

There is an app called Wake Lock or Keep Awake or something that won't let your phone get into deep sleep so it doesn't happen.
Had the same problem, I remembered from the HTC HD2 forums something about avoiding it by turning off auto-brightness.
After having 4 sleep of deaths in 3 hours, I had it once in 24 hours. Dunno if that's what affected it, but much better. Try it.
Kernel related. Flash a different one. Wipe cache and dalvik after kernel flash.
Some kernels are plagued by this problem because of kernel base used. Minor hardware changes in newer batches do not like the old kernel base.
I've downloaded a lot of things on my nexus 7, but now it's getting slow and unresponsive, would a factory reset fix that issue? Also is there a way to keep some videos and pictures after a factory reset?

Try asking the question in Q&A section next time.
Also try cleaning the cache
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=cache&c=apps
Don't install any crap on your device which you don't really need.. even cache cleaners. You can clean the cache from within the OS. Settings>Storage>Cached Data.
Keep at least two GB's of storage free, one thing I noticed is when you fill up your storage the device gets really slow and lags real hard.

That's what I heard. I also heard that once you do get to the point of it lagging, the only way to fix it is a full wipe,, supposedly just clearing some space doesn't fix it.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using tapatalk 2. (Gone off HD...)
I was noticing lag in my system as well, even after multiple full wipes and clean installs. What helped me incredibly was wiping the internal storage, and I had like 8 gigs free still.. So might wanna try that.

You can try adjusting the read ahead too. I heard that once there's not alot space left that lowering or playing with the read ahead might improve performance.

Those who have the sudden reboot issue please get a kmsg of your boot process
su
cat /proc/kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg

Wait a 60 seconds then close window and upload, do this as soon as you boot. We need also a last_kmsg of the reboot issue if one is created (sometimes it isn't). For this just copy /proc/last_kmsg and upload after the reboot happens, if it doesn't exist then it wasn't created during your reboot. My friend @laufersteppenwolf is working on a fix for this, he thinks its due to bad sources, he already has my logs but some additional "testimony" might be helpful
The boot log is not required, only the log, recording the crash

Thanks mate, I'm gonna get my replacement tomorrow, if it still reboots I know how to reliably reproduce it. Kmsg sometimes gives different stuff, no pipe error, system bin files not existing, and sometimes no error at all. The games Modern combat 3 and 4 frequently cause this reboot, my favourite games seem to be the "control" here, damn seriously big thanks here, you don't even own the device!

How many people are exeriencing this problem?
and please, give me some more logs of the crashes, so that i can compare and make sure what causes the reboots
thanks in advance
Hey there i had those reboots problems on stock rom and kernel too. Started with the official update to .140.
Over a month of craziness I flashed yesterday .141 and since then not a single reboot. Ill report back in a few days if its still ok.

maybe a 3rd party app makes the phone reboot this way, hm? i suggest to try a BARE stock ROM for a while, for a day or two, what's your idea?

Which superuser app do you use? After switching from supersu to clockwork su reboots seem to have stopped. But sometimes they don't happen for a while. What I'm gonna do is use the app "root logger" to trace shell activity, maybe something I use is accidentally issuing this command, because it does it like terminal does it.

I really don't know. I just use this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2026918 with this clockwork http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012738 .
I use small amount of third party apps - only Messanger, some games, Llama, feedly, Total Commander and some utilities. No modifications, no tweakers, pure stock and I happily live without problems.

Problem still exists on this ROM for me. Perhaps it is a rogue app, the trouble is finding out which. If not then three has a bad batch of T's since hardly anyone seems to have this issue

New from three, only a month in, they gave me a second one, still happens sometimes. The new .142 firmware helped, now it only seems to happen with < 35% battery, so I think it relates to that. You said you had some shutdowns on low battery too right? I think on the previous firmware something really intensive like playing modern combat 4 online caused some sort of power failure, on the new one its only unstable once the battery is low. So its bearable now, once my battery is that low I tend to recharge
Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I am affraid that the battery in T is big fail. It is not normal, to have such big drop in voltage (in li-on battery) on heavy load.
In full load, the voltage drop can be about 300 - 400 mV, which means when you have 3,6V (which could be around 40%) and the battery drops to 3,2V, that the phone shuts down. Android probably doesn't know that, because it isn't stable 3,2V so there is no notification.
Install Cooltool, go to advanced, custom label path, write there "/sys/devices/platform/msm_ssbi.0/pm8921-core/pm8921-charger/power_supply/battery/voltage_now" and select labels, custom label.
Watch the voltage when playing.
I already ordered new battery, so I will test it with new.
Btw what is the capacity of your battery? There are two - 1850 and 1780 mAh.
