Just got the phone and not bad I have the gs4. I'm going to compare and then I will share. Looks very sharp and high quality. After gs4 colors this looks very real

I would not say that as the LT28at is perma locked with no fastboot. I suspect the T Mo Z is the same way.

That's it its going back to the store. Its a 2012 phone. Its not polished its half ass. It can't compete with HTC one and GS4. I can't believe I wasted time believing this time Sony made it right. The whole phone is crap camera, screen, the power button looks like a nipple. Sony is gone. Sorry guys for being hursh. Its just I wanted some quality but it was not it.

I got mine yesterday. I'm impressed with it so far and I coming from a S4. I had original Evo then switched to Sammy for the I think all of the Galaxy phones. Also had a HTC one but wanted to try the Sony for something different. Yes I have issues. lol

I purchased this phone yesterday and I have to say I'm not impressed at all. Coming from a Note II this feels like a really cheap phone! The battery is the most important feature of a smartphone. ..this phone lacks this feature among other thing. I switched back to my Note II and as soon as I return from my vacation the phone is going back to T-Mobile!

My friend has the note 2 and wants to trade phones with me. I'm not sure if I want to I love my one. Anyone here have or had a note 2 give me their opinions on the two?

I'd believe it...my cousin called me the other day n was like dude I traded my phone..naturally I asked for what n he tells me this guy on craigslist traded me a galaxy note 2...smh I wanted to pimp slap him over the phone I should have known as he didn't keep anything for a period of time..he gets a car n he's tryin to sell or trade it on cl within 4 months

My Note 2 is awesome. But so is my HTC One. The LTE is definitely better on my Note 2. You can't ask a question like that in this section though. Biased opinions round here. It all comes down to preference.

If better LTE is something you're interested in.. Then trade.. I'd jump on it if a friend would offer me that trade. HTC One destroys it in almost all other categories though.

There's no way in hell that phone would sell if it came with the S4 pro. I think they may have received a false tip on this. I'm still believing in seeing an 800 in it.

Yeah mine is in January. I'm gonna cry if there's no s800 in it.

I don't think HTC can afford to give the Note 3 the advantage.

Impossible, no device has S4 Pro. Budget handsets now have Qualcomm S400 dual core chips.
It is IMPOSSIBLE that an unannounced device will ship with that

They're not gonna call it a "Max" with the same screen size. Plus, photos were already shown and it has a way larger screen.
However, I'm on the same page as most of you guys. I'd love to have it, but if it doesn't have the 800 in it, I won't get it. My plan was to get the Note 3 and get rid of that when the Max came out, but maybe I'll just keep my One and hang on to the Note 3. It just doesn't seem possible that there wouldn't be an 800 in the Max. I guess we'll see.

It'd be nice if they would simply make an 8-ultra-pixel camera, I only skipped the "One" simply because of the resolution limitations & memory-expansion.

I've learned to manage. I also have a galaxy note 8.0 which gave me 48 gb dropbox so that has helped too. I'd pay an extra $100 for a 64 gb One 2

U guys do realize the only way to get a UltraPixel larger than 4 we will need a thicker phone to keep the sensor to pixel ratio similar since that's all the UltraPixel is

They(HTC) no longer hold a stake in the company itself, but that doesn't mean they don't still have licensing. From what I heard, Beats will continue to be offered.....but, that could just be rumor too.....

According to these articles, it sounds like the M8 isn't going to be much better than our current device. 2GB of RAM, UltraPixel camera (no reference about actual pixel count)
I hope these specs are not correct because I will not be getting it if they are.

I'm ok with the rumored specs, my main concern is what size battery is HTC going with? Anything less than 3000mAh would be an epic failure.
Short battery life was the single reason I got rid of my ONE and ended up with a LG G2.

The phone would need to be a bit bigger for a larger battery. I think that battery life on my DNA is awesome. Although I do run a custom rom and kernel (latest cr-palmer kernel). I really don't think that they should use a smaller battery either, hopefully it will be more advanced.

I have a feeling (other elevate members will know what I'm talking about) HTC is considering going back to removable batteries.

I just wanted a SD. The only real world significance SGS4 has over this HTC in my hand is signal strength, battery, & SD option. My S4 isn't rooted, but signal way better

I'll sneak in here among the hail of bullets Samsung is receiving to shoot my praise.

I haven't used a Samsung device in over a year (S2). I've been using the HTC One since last April. A great phone, I've been satisfied with it now than any other so far. However I'm looking for a change now, and the S5 looks perfect. I am super excited to get it!
My biggest gripes with the One was the non-removable battery firstly, and lack of water/dust proofing. Everything else about it is awesome. I'm glad the S5 can take care of those issues for me.

The removable battery is the ONLY thing that would make me consider S5 over the rest. But honestly, if you're on an S4 already, I see absolutely no reason to upgrade.
I've owned the S1, S2, S3, and S4, and each iteration brought big enough leaps that warranted a year over year upgrade (better GPS, bigger screen + higher resolution, significantly faster, etc). Unless you're on a Galaxy device older than an S4, there really is nothing new here.

Everybody is expecting miracles but let's remember one fact: iPhone 4,4s,5,5s all use the same design. And we are talking about 4 years of development,right? I think Samsung has offered a step forward with S5 from 3 points of view: best processor at the time, ip67, and ( o dp really hope) the best camera in a smarphone. I just hoped for 3 gb of ram and minimum 32 Gb internal.
