Official 4.3 Root LOCKED BL

Hey guys I just recently downloaded The official 4.3 FTF from here ( 12.0.A.2.266 )
I was wondering if you have any way to root it ( locked bootloader )

I am also searching but I only found solutions about unlocking the bootloader rooting then relocking it...
I don't wanna unlock my bootloader :/

Vroot is suspicious as it send imei number to China.... That's why any links to it are deleted by the mods

Yeah i know that and im sorry because of wrong link but here is no method for root LBL .266 firmware YET !!!!

wondering why @DooMLoRD hasnt yet come up with any root exploit for SP 4.3 LB devices.
may be he is not going to release it

Jeese..... Its about 30min to root .266 with Locked Booloader. Dont gramble all the time.
When someone find a simple method than you will have it. For now there isnt any other than flash .254 at first. Just do it and enjoy.

I did that yesterday. wasted whole day and at the end found keyboard not working. tried everything but no luck. even the rom developer couldnt figure out. so I had to flash stock 4.3

You can take backup of DRM keys. In case you need to use the warranty service, just restore the backup and your warranty stays valid.

Validpoint, but if not mistaken you need root access for that -.-

So you can make your TA Backup once on rooted 4.1.2, then you are free to root your 4.3 and lock your bootloader with restoring TA..

[Q] Restore TA backup on Custom Kernel with UB

Hello guys,:fingers-crossed:
I have unlocked my BL and flashed custom kernel. Also I have a backup of my TA partition. So as we know, the Bravia Engine 2 is not working when we unlocked BL because lost of DRM keys. But I want to stay on custom kernel. It means my device must stay on unlocked BL. So can I restore my TA backup with Custom kernel with unlocked LB to get back BE2 on unlocked BL? If i do so, what will be happened to my device? I want to get BE2 on my device with custom kernel with unlocked BL.

Currently I'm using Ultimate Pure XSP v2.3 from @dipesh1502. It have X-Reality. Currently I have disabled it by editing build.prop. I can always get it back. You mean I can use X-Reality even on unlocked BL?

Not sure if it will work since I have locked but take a look here

my bootloader is unlocked and i was on PA !! now i'm back to stock after the update !! but i can't feel the bravia engin touch on the photos ?
is it because of my bootloader ?

yup, relock the bootloader and try :good::highfive:

His bravia engine will only work if he restores his DRM keys.
on 4.4.2 it should work without though

Thats not true, BE works on unlocked bootloader too, on 4.4.2 & 4.4.4 stock ROMs. You don't need to relock it or restore DRM keys. Try this and see if theres any difference. Open one picture in Album app with BE turned off and take a screenshoot. Now turn on your BE and go to Album app, find the same image and take sceenshoot again. Now compare screenshots, you will see the difference.

thanks a lot mates i relocked it via Backup-TA-9.11 and it's working just fine now

Advantages and disadvantages of unlocked TX bootloader.

Pls I need to know this ones because I want to try a CM11 rom on my TX.

The only difference I can think of is that with an unlocked bootloader you can flash custom ROMS, which can't be done otherwise.
Having said that, I would recommend Omnirom or CarbonRom, cm11 has a bug that drains battery on wifi.

CM11 for locked bootloader is available for TX, my friend has try this.. And he say is smooth and bug free so far..
The ROM on chiness forum, just search.

Yes search for ta backup with this tool you an relock your bootloader again and Don't loose these features if you don't like cm11

Camera problem

Hi everyone
I'm visitor of xda forum for 6 years, but this is first time that I decided to write or ask something.
I have problem with camera of my Xperia z3+. I can't record hd videos, because when I try to record my phone freeze, and also focus doesn't work when I take photos for near object. I have tried everything in settings, but not success. I have tried also to repair my phone with Xperia companion from PC, and surprisingly it works, but unfortunately only for some days (maybe one week). After that same story. Again doesn't work. Don't ask me to call or to send the phone to Sony company because it doesn't exist in my country. What do you suggest guys? To flash new rom? Lineage? Or other official stock roms, even though I have tried to flash official 7.1.1 US version.

did you backup your DRM keys? if not, they are lost forever, that's why your camera have problem focusing, x-reality stops working and so on. flashing new roms will not solve your problem.
you need to flash kernel with DRM fix.
