I am using maclaw's cm 10.2 (release 20140108). I can't find the option in system settings to add a screenshot button onto the power menu (the menu that pops up when you long press power button). How can I enable it?
Maybe you can find it in the developers settings. At least that's where I've found it.

hi guys i had maclaw's cyanogenmod 11 rom for a while then i changed to android andi slimkat and one of the things i enjoyed about it was the headsup mode for calls. it works like this : when u get a new call and the screen is on (u are doing something on ur phone) the call doesnt block the whole screen, instead there is a popup that u can choose to put away. i wanted to know is there something like that in thisCM11 that i missed? coz im lookin for reasons to go back to it
thx anyway

Do you mean the heads up notification which CM11 has it in settings > notification? If yes, it's simple to bring it back to SlimKat because all Android 4.4 based roms have this feature.
You will need Xposed framework to enable this feature, download it from xposed website. If you downloaded it and installed the framework should you see in the app a section "download" open it and search for "Heads Up notification". Then install it and reboot your phone.

OH MY GOD.
downloading. gonna reply asap.

Snapchat doesn't let me log in. As the Snapchat support said, it's because the root access in 7.0 and 7.1 (it's ridiculous), they don't support it, but they do support in 6.0...
On startup, settings is crashing. If you try to change the status bar's icons, for example the battery's icon, it doesn't change, and if I try to set that the percentage to be shown, it just doesn't want to change it. Advanced reboot works.
Great work, but I need Snapchat af, so I have to downgrade to 13.0...
Maybe, if you could fix the Snapchat problem, it would be pretty nice.
Thanks for your hard work Kyasu, we love you.

The problem is related to Snapchat, not the ROM.
So that can't be fix by a ROM dev or builder.
You can try to hide root, though.
CyanogenMod 14.1 with video recording actually working
Download: CyanogenMod_14.1_ks01ltexx_userdebug_video_recording_fix_2016-10-29.zip (MD5)
Video recording works (both 1080p and UHD), I've tested it this time.

Flashlight option from the quick settings menu seems to work too.
And sound is crystal clear like in stock touchwiz rom?
What about mms?
How's the battery performance comparing to CM12.1?

Yeah, that's right, but Snapchat just doesn't give a damn. They say "it's because of the root access, use original rom". I just typed them "fck off", and gave them 1 star, just to be a bad boy. #youonlyliveonce
I'll try the root hide, is there an app which gives me the opportunity to hide only from Snapchat? If so, can you tell me which one is that?
Thanks a lot.
Big problem!
The left soft button is the same as the homebutton. With CM13 i got the "options" with the left soft button.

SuperSU + suhide might work.
Or Magisk and phh root.

This is not a problem, it's a feature. You don't lose any functionality, the Menu key has essentially been killed in Android a while ago

Hi, you can change the fonction in the button menu in the setting
Its a bug.... i cant get to the settings in titanium backup without that key, there is no settings button on the screen...
And at "Buttons" in the settings, i cant switch that key...

Didn't work. I've tried installing the SuperSU, it was successfull, and then when I tried to install suhide, it said "fatal error", because of the SuperSU is installed (????).
Any other ideas?

The setting for the Menu key is missing. Home and return key settings are available.

You have to remove CM root first.
Delete SU files from xbin and bin folders.
SuperSU also needs to be installed in systemless mode. It should have been flashed that way by default.

Try to flash this(I made it to use the Magisk) before install the SuperSU, it will unroot your ROM. And make sure that the SuperSU is installed in systemless mode.
Or, you can try the Magisk & phh & Magisk hide instead(I prefer this).

I'd like to know if anyone is able to turn on the "system ui tuner" by longpressing the settings icon in this rom. Doesn't work on my device and I couldn't find anything in the development thread on the matter. Thanks!

No system ui tuner in Lineage AFAIK yet. However, there isn't much benefit to it given the plethora of options in Lineage.
You can display battery percentage in status bar settings.
For demo mode, assuming you're rooted in Lineage, install root essentials.
