I would like to upgrade to kitkat but what is the best rom?
I need to be stable, no battery drain no freeze or reboot and works the camera.

Sorry but all I can say is give them all a try they all have there pros and cons but every ROM is a great piece of development by the developers. BTW a best of thread is not allowed hers so if I'm correct, maybe some mod could close this one

There is no such thing called "best ROM". Try a few and see which best suits your needs.

why is it that other devices with locked bootloaders get custom roms yet we cant.
Because this is the only device that ever was made that is so perfect it needs no Rom to be perfect. and lg also made specially so that you have something to complain about because otherwise life wouldn't be perfect.

I suggest krapple revolution Rom, it's stable and his Roms is great.
Or CM if you want stock android app, but might be unstable.

Yes, if you choose revolution you probably better wait. The dev wrote that a new version is coming today.
OP, you shouldn't ask about the best rom, you should try and see for yourself.

Hi all,
My wife is using an international Samsung Galaxy Note.
As all of you have already know the performance of the phone has been degraded more and more as upgrades are added to it. I have wiped the phone and downgraded to 4.0.4 but wouldn't help.
I didn't know pay attention to the development of third party ROM for Samsung Galaxy Note. So I would be much appreciated if some of your can tell me which ROM is close to Stock firmware (TW based) and with speed optimization. Graphical improvement or additional function is not my highest concern, I just want to make the phone faster and easy for my to use (same interface as stock rom).

All Roms posted in the forum are good. But nothing beats the rom " Mybest Rom" developed by dsmas.

Android revolution its close to stock but has a few tweaks up its sleeve but please dont ask wich rom is best its down to the users prefrence

Flash a few different ROM and make your own choice.
