from where i get it ?
you stated on your initial post that you reflashed to stock after trying out 2.3 overcome. the stock firmware rom should have the modem.bin. if not oyu would need to redownload the stock firmware.
as stated by alterbridge86, he didn't include modem.bin with Overcome ROM v2.0.0 BETA 1 - "No Modem is included - due to a variety of personal preference I decided to leave that a la carte "
also, you could check this list of modems for the tab. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069727

You could upgrade your tab to gingerbread with either overcome gingerbread by alterbridge86 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074759
or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1073854
Also you have to unzip the modem file i attached before using with odin.
Can I put your modem in my thread? Credit will be given.
Sure darkpal.
Hello everybody I'm having a bit of a problem with my SGS i9000, international version. I'm currently running CM7 with the UGJL2 modem.
I recently signed up for a data plan. My carrier is Movistar Chile.
Problem is, I can't connect at all. Not even on EDGE. I have checked the APN settings and they're OK.
I have also tried changing the settings in Service Mode to no avail. When I choose any other setting than GSM 1900, I don't get any service.
Also tried changing some settings in Testing. Nothing.
Tried flashing many modems, most of them with 850 enabled, no good.
Any ideas?
I might suggest to flash a different modem or one of the radio 850mhz files found on this site.

I can't recall if I tried that modem. Will flash and check. Thanks for your responses!
EDIT: flashed KC3, no good. There's no way it'll connect with 850, just 1900. Tried changing settings in Service Mode, nothing.
Maybe flashing another ROM?
Try this for 850mhz
I am on Telstra in Aussie and we use the 850Mhz, and when I upgraded ROMS I had to sort out the same issue you are having. I found a Telstra modem, opened a modem file, swapped my modem into it and put it into my phone. The in recovery opened the file an it all worked. Not sure if that is the correct way, but it works for me and gives me both 850 and 2100 for Telstra.
Change your rom to jvu, its sweet, and try to use the modem that was in your stock rom from chile
Im using simplicity + semaphore+ UGKG3 modem

Thanks for the reply. Sadly, the phone was imported all way from England... not the smartest thing to do...
So tecnically there is no stock Rom for the I9000 from Movistar Chile.
However, now that you mention it, Movistar used to sell the I9000B here, and I'm not sure if I could grab the modem file from a I9000B from Chile (if I happen to find one) and flash it. Are I9000 and I9000B modems compatible?
EDIT: found out something weird. I actually got a hold of a SGS2, factory unlocked, and swapped the SIM cards. In the SGS2, the APN settings from Movistar Chile are picked up automatically (preconfigured?), thought there is still no connection when Data is enabled. This (APN settings preconfigured) DOES NOT happen on the SGS1, as if there weren't any settings predefined. I have to put them manually. Why...?
With the other SIM card (Entel Chile), both phones set the APN automatically and connect to the data plan without issue.
Does this mean there's a phone issue AND a carrier issue?
I also forgot to mention that I got rid of CM7 and flashed the latest Darky's Rom, JVK modem, 850 enabled as far as I know.
The apn issue is from the preloaded apns from the rom you uses, it happened to me no other than simplicity.
The letter b on i9000 means the region, from example im in mexico and i have a i9000t that its for latinamerica, the i9000 alone its erupean and MAY BOT HAVE 850mhz antenna
Do you had 3g before the data plan weon? Hehehe

I have flashed Captivate modems on the SGS and they work. Could I9000B modems also be compatible?

It should have 850MHz, since that's supposedly the frequency Movistar uses here...
Still trying to figure out what to do
Have you tried to make sure it is enabled in the network mode/cell info/power info menu
in your dialer: *#0011#
and make sure under all the options 850 is enabled

Thanks for the reply, but I already tried that, didn't work SGS doesn't support 850mhz out of the box, which is why I flashed another modem in the first place.
Ok there's a cm7 radio zip it worked for me when I was on it ill find the link and post soon.

hey all, just wondering if the GT-I9305 and the GT-I9305T are the same or not, and whether the GT-I9305 stock firmware is transferable over to the GT-I9305T.
Do you mean the Telstra GSIII LTE?
Do you mean the Telstra GSIII LTE?
If yes, then try asking Telstra, though probably they won't give an answer.
I believe they might not be compatible because Telstra has history of modifying models,
both hardware and software, which compromised the phone experience under other carriers.
And assume they are compatible, then why it is named I9305T instead of I9305?
Obviously making one model is easier than making an I9305 and another version with a "T".
So, I guess you probably should not try the firmware for another version of the GSIII LTE until you get a CLEAR answer
Good Luck!

As far as I know they are exactly the same aside from slight software differences. I've got a GT-I9305 bought from Kogan which is a Hong Kong version. In stock form it worked on the Telstra network but the signal strength was not all that great and it use to drop of the network on odd occasion which required a restart in some case to reconnect. I got a bit tired of it so I flashed it with the official Telstra ROM last Friday. So far everything is running great, signal strength is as expected and it did not drop of the network at all since the re-flash.
All I can say now my phone is now a GT-I9305T and it works as it should :good:
awesome, thats great to know.
i was also doing some searching on the internet earlier today and realized that my s3 ( GT-I9305T) was only running the 4.1.1 version of android and that the GT-I9300 was updatable to 4.1.2, i then went on to check for an update which came back unsuccessful saying that i had the latest version of firmware, i understand that they are releasing it model by model but does anyone have any idea on whether the GT-I9305T will get the update? and also any estimate on when?

Have you tried this search?
https://www.google.de/search?hl=de&...0...1.1j2.64.psy-ab..0.2.341....0.hub_oipjIe0
I guess you will find help in one of the search results
First of all download Samsung USB Drivers: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1I3ilHBfl1lSvkqQwHZTEOE6usggQqQGb
Download TWRP for GT-I9305T: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kmpXSVGdd_XR2WojWqAe8rd_Xm7gZ8Lj (its an old version of twrp but it should work)
After downloading twrp download Odin3: https://drive.google.com/open?id=10CLH6TqF6PLiqnMnjqY5IgsfU5KjX-F-
Extract it od desktop
Now power off your s3 and boot into download mode holding Power Button + Volume Down + Home Button
You will see that screen turned on and press Volume up to continue into Download mode
Connect your s3 into your pc via usb cable. Open Odin3 and you will see on the left side message that says Added!!
Now click od the AP button and select twrp that you downloaded
Go to options tab and make sure that Re-Partition is unticked, Auto-Reboot and F. Reset Time keep ticked
Finally click Start button and the twrp should flash, you will see green text saying PASS!
After flashing twrp the phone should automatically reboot, download SuperSU: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/supersu/download/zip/SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822.zip
Turn off the phone again and hold Power Button + Volume Up + Home Button and it should boot into twrp, swipe to allow system modifications, and select install and find the supersu.zip file, select it and swipe to confirm flash.
After reboot your s3 should be rooted. You will have SuperSU app in the menu.
I'm unclear about how to get 4.3 on my stock phone:
Xperia TL
USA/AT&T
LT30at
4.1.2
9.1.F.1.120
No root
No unlocked bootloader
I don't care about branding or anything like that.
I don't want to root, etc.
Are there any stock .FTFs for my phone?
If not, I think I saw somewhere that the Central Europe .FTF can be used.
LT30p - 9.2.A.0.295 - Unbranded - Central Europe (1265-1620) = right .FTF?
What did they mean by without baseband?
Thanks very much.
You can flash via flashtool without the baseband, if you flash with the baseband you will lose the ability for lte and you'll have to flash the stock baseband.

I'm still downloading the firmware now, but I presume it's the same as rooting 5.1.1 on the N910F. I'm not sure if it has been done though.
Can this 5.1.1 fw be used on all N910G region? Anyone tested on a Singapore Note 4?
I'm about to test on a M1 Note 4. I previously used the India Note 4 ROM to update my M1 Note 4. I'm backing up currently to test out Telstra's Note 4 5.1.1 ROM.
Hi,
I just used your tool to download firmware.
Firmware i downloaded name is "SM-N910G_1_20151001114739_11ijbna13r_fac.zip.enc4.enc4"
I cant use it in any form.
can you please help me in that
Can confirm this works flawlessly on a Note 4 bought in India. Now the only thing missing is root!
Will the 910F rooting method work here? Will the kernel be different?

I used the one linked from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/kernel-5-1-1-selinux-enforcing-t3190799
It says it is for the F variant, but it worked fine on the G version.
OK confirmed working on Starhub N910G, remember to do a full factory reset after flashing the rom.

So just use Odin and flash it, did you do a factory reset after that?

Just flash without doing any factory reset whatsoever. Btw I had root on my previous 5.0.1 so no problems just flash and root again
If you are a Gear VR user like me, note that you will get a "network error" when you try to use the Oculus app.
I figured out that changing the model number in the build.prop to N910F (from N910G) fixes this issue.
Btw, I did not factory reset after installing this ROM, even though I was coming from CMRemix. I don't think it matters. Been a few hours, and my faith in Samsung is restored! This ROM is butter smooth! But on earlier ROM, there have been many occasions when I felt like smashing the phone! In fact, it drove me to CMRemix, which also meant I could not use my Gear S or Gear VR.
Any chance of getting this rom deodexed to install xposed?
Can this XSA 5.1.1 rom be flashed to Note 4 SM-N910G INU variant
Can this XSA 5.1.1 rom be flashed to Note 4 SM-N910G INU variant in India. I do not want to lose warranty and change Knox counter etc.

It looks like you have downloaded it from samfirm.exe. and this file is in encrypted format. When you start downloading there is an option comes up to decrypt automatically which was not selected by you . Now other option is if that download window is still open of samfirm.exe you can still click on decrypt button it will remove enc from the file and give you a zip file which can further extracted via Winzip or winrar and md5 file inside it can be used to flash rom via odin.
If you have already closed that samfirm.exe windows by which you downloaded that ROM. There is no option as comes with decryption key that is valid for only same session of samfirm or until you refreshed it.
So Now you have to redownload the file and make sure to choose decypt automatically this time
