Xtheme_engine_beta5 - LG G Flex

If you're using xposed installer and want a little more theming capability then try this out. Its an xposed module. You'll have to download it as well as some themes to work with it. It doesn't change style of icons really it more or less changes some colors/ windows. Due to the us variants not having custom recovery and the ability to flash a deodexed ROM it lacks the ability to theme what all it should but does add a few subtle changes. I've been using it for a couple years with out any problem.
Its not my work so I'm not taking credit for it just passing it along for others to enjoy. It works fine with my T-Mobile D959. There is a thread on XDA somewhere with a ton of CM/AOKP themes port to work with it. And on a deodexed system it does /changes as much as the CM based ROMs are changes by themes from the app market. I'm using the original COBALT theme at the moment and have used pitch black and HUE themes. Those seem to do the most theming. Those also make your Google now black and SMS and phone app changes a little to. Most every app downloaded from the play store will be themed like normal due to them not being odexed. OK enough of the jibber jabber. Here's a drop box link to the xthemer beta5 module and a few themes I have on hand.
Again not my work just passing along. And I'm not responsible for you making really nice soap dish out of your phone.

Pitch Black theme:

HUE theme:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/p5i4rfxyd2pxhut/Hue.apk
Liquid theme:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mfj0b1wu991okgh/liquid blue.apk
Those are just a few I've been using. And like I said there is a thread about this module with tons of CM/AOKP themes ported to work with this mod. Happy theming.

Is the Battery Circle Mod from the Screen included ?
Nice looking theme, thanks
Will this theme work on HTC Desire?
works and looks great on my nandroid HD2 with the rom in my sig
Its not showing up in my theme chooser . I've not moved it to sdcard .
@edint 3000
Very nice looking theme. Only problem I see is where you tap on the status bar, the date doesn't show up. Besides that flawless. Also is there anyway you can make one with a preview? So it can show up in theme chooser.

For those who are not seeing themes in the theme chooser, move slowly between themes and watch below. You will see it change to the missing themes, carefully stop while in between and you can apply the missing theme
Looks very nice. Also looks like it was built on top of rover's theme because it has many of the same images and bugs. Checkboxes on web pages are not shown in any browser when running this theme. I'm not complaining, just pointing out the bug. Thanks for the theme. One complaint is it would be nice if in the OP of these themes there is an indication that the theme is HDPI only.

There would be no need for that if there was a preview

Still trying to sort that one out...
Liking the theme a lot. A couple of gripes for me on an otherwise great theme:
1) Facebook widget is unreadable. The text park is dark grey, but the text is also grey, making it quite unreadable.
2) The network icon (the one that shows H, 3G, E, network type), the alphabet is a bit small. Maybe because I'm using an MDPI device, but it's really unreadable unless you squint really hard.
Overall, very nice. Been waiting for a dark blue theme
cant find the theme in o1 cm7 by mik tried scrolling slowly but still doesnt show any suggestion

Look at the numbers above when you scroll. Lets say it jumps from 3 to 5. Then you know it's in there.

If not showing ..you can install a older version of theme chooser that was in CM RC2... and then it will show .. For some reason the newer versions do not show all themes
Wow, just beautiful!
Great job!

theme chooser/metamorph themes!

i would check here once in a while for theme chooser themes but ive only seen one. i guess i was wrong in assuming the theme chooser themes must be specifically made for the eris..
i came across this little bit of awesomeness somehow.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=976060
i have the bionic blue, and i went ahead and did the related metamorphs (using zipthemer) at the bottom of the first post. it all worked flawlessly the first time and looks great!
what do you think? those guys did a great job. using the metamorph to change the things theme changer cant was an excellent addition. my phone has never looked better.
Also check the HTC Hero forums. Some good stuff there. Everything I've tried had been compatible. Alpha 7 and orion themes are favorites

[REQ] Holo Light Theme for IceColdSandwich and/or AOKP/CM9

I am starting to get tired of the dark holo theme in ICS (for example in settings, calculator, camera, in the keyboard, statusbar, etc.) I have been searching all over the place for a white/light theme for the DHD but haven't had any success.
There is the Syk Sky theme for the Nexus (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1654546), after flashing my phone wouldn't boot.
The Reloaded ICS mod is fantastic (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23275045), and my phone will boot and work with it, however it always crashes after about 3 min.
The closest I could find was Ghost (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681710), but I really miss the blue accents.
Does anyone know of a theme/mod for this? I have the feeling I'm one of the only ones that wants the Holo light, not dark theme.
I've tried to make it myself, but I don't know anything about programming on Android or the android resource management, so quickly failed at that. If anyone would be willing to make the theme I'd gladly pay money for it (although everyone like free themes ).
Thanks
Been working on this still a couple of weeks from completion. Not sure if this is what your talking about.

Cool theme! I was looking more for a "classic" ice cream sandwich look, with the accent blue, just not with a dark background
Absolutely agree. You are not the sole one, for sure. I'm second.
Happy with TouchWiz 5 theme now, but ghost theme is just mind blowing.

Guys, I found these two themes. They aint fully emulate the look n feel of holo light, but they would surely bring out something.

Holo hue/color variants

Hi,
I've been looking for a simple Holo theme with the default blue changed to another color (orange, green, yellow, whatever new), just this simple, one modification - with no results.
The only themes that get as much as possible are: blackout1911's Betterbean Themes, kroz's Hue and Quasim Zia's Holo-series, but even those suffer from additional, redundant changes (like changing default grey into color) which IMO negatively affect JB's great simplicity and legibility.
I know I'm not the only one looking for those themes, since I've came across others, posting similiar questions/request. I wonder why no such themes exist (or I'm unable to find them). Is it so hard to make a simple, colored theme? If it involves changing hue for only two shades of blue, then why is it so problematic? Isn't there any tricky way to automatically recolor the blues in majority of icons with some Photoshop macros?
Thanks for any help and comments, I'd really appreciate this!
Well I'm no themer ...but if hasn't been done its likely because you can't with the theme chooser app...may bee a flash able zip or learn yourself ...me on the other hand I use holohue ....but I have sorcery ROM who's devs focus on most customosible support that AOKP doesn't even come near and with bean picker theme for ROM that's an easy fix for me...good luck

That could be pretty close, if there would exist an option to change the icon colors (eg statusbar icons), not only the text/lines. As far as I can tell from the screenshots provided, the icons stay untouched.
Thanks, anyway, that's a step forward. I'm still waiting for other suggestions, though.

Theming on Droid 4

I haven't seen a lot of posts about theming here in our D4 forum so I thought I would create one. If you don't know about theming, you are really missing out on some fun things you can do. Personalize that phone and make it yours!
Theme Chooser Themes: On AOSP based ROMs (CM, AOKP, Liquid, etc.) you can use the built in theme chooser located in the system settings. There are TONS of themes out there, some free, some paid. Here are a couple of fantastic threads listing Theme Chooser themes:
CM10/10.1/10.2 and other JB AOSP based ROMs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29455970
CM11 and other KK AOSP based ROMS: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522538
Another option is the web site MyColorScreen.com. You will find a lot of custom themed home screens here and most have instructions on how to achieve the look yourself. You do not have to be running a ROM or even rooted for most/all of these.
A third option is the new Themer app located here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycolorscreen.themer&hl=en. This app is by the MyColorScreen guys and basically takes all the work out of creating those custom home screens you find on MyColorScreen. It is in beta right now so you will have to sign up to receive a code. I received my code yesterday and it is fantastic!
If any of you have other apps, sites, etc that you use feel free to share them here.
Do u still have the code?
