Are you looking for that exact version?
You can find lastest baseband (I8190NXXANC2) here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2526831
If you need a different version have to:
download the stock firmware of the wanted version (I8190NXXAMB2 if you want this)
download the flashable zip from the thread i linked
replace the file modem.bin in the zip with the one from the stock firmware
flash the new zip via recovery

My problem is that I've flashed virginity v11 and changed baseband to ANB1 and looks like I stucked on this modem. Recovery and flushing stock rom does not change modem version, no matter what rom i use I had still ANB1. Yesterday I flushed ANA1 and testing now.
Problem is that since I flushed ANB1 with virginity my batery works very poor. (1day max). So i decided to force AMB2 modem by fushing it by TWRP. But i cant find original flashable ANB2 modem.
Thx for advice I'll try to extract modem from original rom.
ps. offcourse I'm looking for N version of modem

Hello,
I hope it's not the wrong section, but the others are I9000.
I want to flash an I9001. The phone is on 2.3.3 I though.
I've root the phone, now I can go to 2.3.6 by flashing a rom in recovery or do i need to go to 2.3.6 first?

You need to flash (for example) KQ7 with Odin, this updates the whole base of the rom, most new roms are build on KQ7 base so I think that's the right one for you
btw this is the wrong section, i9000 Q&A is the right section
I think we go for broodrom.
But it's important to get first to 2.3.6 stock? Or can we flash the rom directly by odin?
As an ODIN stock ROM also includes modem binaries that we cannot flash over recovery, it is a good idea to get to the latest stock ROM with ODIN and then start with custom ROMs over FeaMod recovery (it's basically CWM). If you have already the latest stock ROM on your 9001, you can use whatever method you prefer.
I think recovery is quicker and easier to use as you don't need a pc near you.
And which last stock 2.3.6 we can flash the best? We live in Holland..., don't know it is important?

Hello
I need to Root my stock ROM, I try all software and methods , no one work for me (V20a) , and I know I can use SmartFlash Tool to flash new ROM patched, but I will lose Arabic Menu, and I know I can use any patched ROM without wipe after install it and I will keep old ROM, but the problem is the old ROM will not work correct.
Q: How to patch stock Rom?
I found stock ROM here
and I need to patch it ( make it Root ) before flash it to my phone.
Best Regards

??? Where do you live?!
i lived in malaysia but i bought this phone, second-hand actually from a unknown person. so i have to choose malaysian version then? lol sorry i'm really noob about this thing
if its i9000 then just find i9000 firmware for Malaysia
and practice using the thanks button
i already checked the malaysian version but that is carrier-based version. i'm confident that this phone is not from a carrier.
long story short, i bought this phone but still in stock Samsung 2.3.3. then i flashed the value pack and later on i flashed the ICSGCS rom. the baseband version of my i9000 is I9000XXJVU. so which one should i choose?
i'm really confused here.
i think i got it. i'll try to flash the file that i've downloaded first. thanks for your help sir
my solution is solved. thanks for giving me tips and clue where to get the stock rom
I know out there is a bunch of baseband to flash through Odin. What about make them flashable?. What for?, for example I flashed Enox and Benz roms that are not for my specific model (L) and my phone boot without a problem, but just get not network signal. So I was guessing that will work If I flash my baseband (lubama1) over the one that came with the rom. Will the rom work without a problem I think, cuz that is what I did in my Atrix 4g times.
Why flashable, just to do it on the way. If someone can help me making my stock baseband flashable I will appreciate it.
Thnx
I'm pretty sure those roms doesn't change your modem, but only system files.
Why it doesn't work is probably because the config is for i8190 and not i8190L modem.
Open the rom.zip and see if you find a modem.bin in there.. I think not.

even if you flash your baseband i think it will not work. wrong rom to your variant
any way, if you want, attach your baseband to make it flashable via odin.
Recently i just flashed my i9070 to JB hongkong firmware (zsmg2),then i kind of feel that i prefer the old firmware rather than this version of JB,Before this i had use GB XME region..So you all know the issues of this hongkong firmware right,i had search entire site to find the solution on downgrading from this hongkong firmware, but still didnt find it..i tried to flash up with a custom rom but still the baseband and the imei appear to be 'UNKNOWN'..so i was hoping for the experts here to tell me the solution for this one. Please!! :crying::crying:

CoCore: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140597
For the first time, download kernel, unpack, transfer kernel.bin.md5 to phone. Install Universal Kernel flasher and some root explorer (like ES file explorer or Root Browser) from Play store. Open Universal kernel flasher and install kernel.
For debloat look on links in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49866354&postcount=3
Try this.
