Galaxy mini 2 is dead - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hi.
I have a problem with my Mini 2. I had "cm 10.1" Everything worked perfectly until the Polish stock software upload. My phone caught 'bootloop', and when I'm trying to enter into recovery pops 'RAMDUMP MODE'. I tried to install cwm but it did not help.
Please help. (Sorry for my bad english. I'm from Poland).
Edit: I was able to fix it with a different thread. I had not noticed it before. Subject can throw away and I'm sorry that you bother your head. Thanks.

Which is where? isnt this Nexus One general? there is no help section.
You should be posting in the Q&A section, but yeah I totally understand 'general' and 'Q&A' are confusing titles. Q&A almost sounds like a section for 'how do i hard reset' and an answer, whereas general sounds like its for less defined problems. Anyway...
Anyway, the first thing to try is a factory reset:
http://www.ehow.com/how_6013401_restore-nexus-one-factory-settings.html
If that doesnt work, then you could try flashing the latest official update using the recovery. Its possible there is a physical problem with your phone tho, like a bad flash. So it might be best to send it back without messing with it.

[Q] Am i posting it wrong?

Hi
I'm new to forums. But I like this one. People are discussing stuff instead of complaining about their devices. I'm learning a lot. But I still need an answer to my question. And I don't think it's very complex. So I thought maybe I'm posting it wrong. Is there anything else one should do to get there post replied to. Like tagging it in some way. It's not a complaint. I really wanna know to be able ro enjoy the forum fully.
Cheers
You don't need to do anything special. What is your question?
Oh cool
Hi
Thank you very much indeed for replying. I was just wondering if it was safe to update a rooted galaxy 8.9. I got the update message in my settings so it's a proper factory official update but I've never done it before so I was a bit worried after having read about some bricked phones and (don't even know what bricked means but sounds scary).
And if you could answer another question as well please that would be really nice.
Recently my tablet crashed in a weird way so I had to reinstall every single application on my tablet. After the crash every single app was force closing and it asked me for the date and the region. Since then it crashes not very often but regularly. So I thought maybe I need to do a hard reset or even reflash the rom. But now, as far as understand, updating my firmware should sort it out for me. Am I right in thinking so?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have not heard of anyone who has bricked their gt8.9 updating a rooted device. You possible loose root when you update, but you can just flash the root.zip again. In worst case you end up with a soft brick, this can be fixed with flashing stock firmware with Odin.
If you are having random crashes, i would start with factory reset. Please dont forget to backup before, because factory reset will delete everything on your tablet.
Update to latest version. Latest versions are a lot better then early builds.
Hope this helps.
Thank you very much indeed.
Will I be alright following the instructions in this forum's guide on how to use the ODIN?

Yes, but i don't think you are going to need Odin. Just click update. If you get any problems, then let us know and I'm sure that there is someone here who will help you restore stock firmware if needed.
This thread has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to contribute other than to say that you're a class act, poisike. Too many people on XDA think it's OK to be rude to newcomers and that obnoxious comments about using search add value to the board. +6 internets to you.

Why the hell aren't people looking where they are posting?! This is the HTC ONE help and troubleshooting.
I've never seen anything like this before. It's like people are blindfolded and arbitrarily picking a place to post questions.
All the posts are by noob accounts. Probalby someone just trolling this section.

But it's not like like blindfolded and arbitrary. Accidents just don't happen with this frequency. It's more like it's coordinated and intentional (I'm not saying it is, just saying the volume suggests that).
From my Evo LTE, yup.

I'm guessing the reason so many people are doing it here is because on default view, the HTC One is at the top of the list of devices, and so idiots like OP just click the links for the One, thinking it's their phone.
Cant noobs be locked down to only post in the android general section until their post count is high enough to realize where they should or shouldn't be posting?
And there is a big picture of the HTC One device for this section surely that should be a fairly small clue!

which kitkat rom

Hello,
I have the galaxy note gt-n7000 i have tried several kitkat roms only to be stopped by errors like signature failed or error status 7. I am thinking the roms which i am trying to install are for european or american n7000's.
Can someone recommend a uk kitkat rom that will install ok.
You should start to use the search.
See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2780703 for your problem.
Update: just saw that I gave you this link 3 days ago.
So please: not only start to use search but read the answers to your own questions

Those instructions should be crystal clear. If you follow them then you won't get the Status 7 error.
