I have the galaxy note gt-n7000 i have tried several kitkat roms only to be stopped by errors like signature failed or error status 7. I am thinking the roms which i am trying to install are for european or american n7000's.
Can someone recommend a uk kitkat rom that will install ok.

Hello yes this link was helpful the other day but i am half way through the roms listed and have had no joy installing them thats why i have come back for more help
Those instructions should be crystal clear. If you follow them then you won't get the Status 7 error.

Then you're at the wrong place here. Stay on stock rom.

Its all good though man.. just read up on ROOT, SPLS and Requirements.. if you read the guide on how to root your phone, you SHOULD be up and running the latest cyanogen mod rom within the next half an hour.. be sure to READ the directions carefully.. and if your not sure about something, scroll through some of the posts in the thread.. 9 xs out of 10 someone has asked your question, and has received an answer... if there are too many pages to read, like let's say maybe 40 or more, jus go to google, and search for your problem.. this site plus some others may pop up and offer you some help.. good luck and welcome to the community !

go to youtube in a few days and check out emogamers tag and in a few days or so he'll have my videos of everything but there are alot of things to do already

2. Upgrade Recovery, Radio & SPL: http://www.myhangoutonline.com/tutorials/g1/upgrade-your-g1-recovery-image-radio-and-spl
Once you're done with that... you can go find a ROM you like and flash it... Enjoy!

First of all I'd like to say I'm new to the wonderful world Android so please forgive me if my question is a simple one.
I'd like to know how i could revert my Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830i) back to the stock ROM.
I would like to do this as i recently rooted and installed a custom ROM, thinking that this would enhance my phone. It did not turn out this way and now I'm left with a buggy and less functional phone.
I know that it is custom to search the net before posting and i have done this. I believe that I am supposed to use a program called 'Odin' and i need a ROM for my phone. I have searched and searched all day for the relevant ROM but have had no luck.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if anyone could offer me any help i would be so grateful.

The second link you provided has helped me boat loads, thanks.
I've downloaded the checkFUS downloader and managed to get the correct ROM. I then installed cygwin (with the zip component) and attempted to run the command but its throwing me the error "File In Use" but i ran the prgram "Unlocker" which checks if a file is in use and it reported that the file wasn't in use. Very confused.

First of all hi! This is my very first post...
Ive got a problem about compatability check of nova 3 it said that device is not compatable but im playing nova 3 for about 2 months on my p1000 then i edited something in the build.prop and didnt edit it back to normal. Then i uninstalled nova 3 flash stock rom then overcome rom then restored nova 3 apk via titanium backup then the device not compatible error occured. Tried some solutions like downloading the device compatability off apk of nova 3, decompiling apk then editing device compatability check, flashing back to stock rom, installing via market, editing build.prop to nexus s, etc... But nothing worked. Im bit frustrated.
Problem theory: i think something is wrong in the build.prop but assuming that i flash to stock rom i thought that even not reverting the changes to normal are ok because i used odin which i dont if really know if it deletes the build.prop and changes it back to original state.
Possible solution: im thinking if someone can make a nandroid backup of there p1000 tablet with working nova 3 they can upload their nandroid backup and i will flash it to mine via cwm and just hypothetically thinking if it solves my problem.

Omg struggling for past 5 hours to get nova 3 run on my S2!
Didn't find a solution yet.

All questions regardless of topic belong in Q&A and this is a specific question about an app not a discussion topic. Discussions about app development, lists of working apps, theming/modding guides etc and even possibly app recommendations would pass as belonging there.
We try our best to keep it consistent across all forums but every now and then some do slip through which we try to eventually clean up.
Just seen this Nova 3 thread that is already in the Themes & Apps section. It was there before I was assigned here hence why it's been left. Maybe use that one?
