two easiest ways
1 uninstall unwanted system apps
2 use scripts like cronmod after creating ext partition { if it works as i haven't tried it yet }

Try CronMod Script. All you need is a rooted phone, rom with init.d support and an ext partition on the sdcard (max 1GB). Make sure to download the CronMod Int2Ext+ as it works on all roms. Here is the link,
CronMod-INT2EXT
Hope I Helped

Thank you so much, but which of these should I download? And how is it used? Should I just flash it?

Go to the site I provided in the previous post and download CronMod INT2EXT+. Now take a backup of your sdcard and boot into CWM Recovery Mode. Now its time to make the ext partition. Select "Advanced> Partition SD" and choose the ext partition size( remember maximum size should be 1GB= 1024 MB) and finally choose the swap size as "0MB". Once the partition is made, it will display the text "Partitioning Done..". Now put back all the data to sdcard including the CronMod INT2EXT+ file that you have downloaded. Reboot to CWM, select "Mount and Storage> Mount /system", select "Install zip from sdcard" and choose the CronMod file from the sdcard. This will flash the CronMod script. Finally, select "Mount & Storage> Format sd-ext". Once all is done, just reboot and you are good to go. Now go to Settings> Storage and you can see the newly increased internal memory. Hope I Helped

Thanks for the help!

[Q] Regarding GalaxyICS with moving apps

I recently installed GalaxyICS to my Ace, only with CyanogenMod 7.x I was able to move all apps to the SD card, creating more space.
Is there anyway to do the same kind of thing with GalaxyICS? As I install quite a few apps, and am starting to run low on internal storage. :/

Had problems myself with s2e on cm9 found best solution use only S2e for ICS and Advanced Restore your ext partition with cwm. Works best for me. Hope it works for you as it saves reinstalling all your apps too.
I managed to get s2e working, also went from having 23mb space to 155mb space on my phone.

I created a partition on my SD card, then used s2e to transfer all apps and data over to the SD-ext. I cant remember whether it was ext4 or ext3 that i partitioned it to tho.

RAM = No
ROM = Yes
Follow this guide, and remove the ones that you don't need:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30573818&postcount=1538
Also, follow this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30595805&postcount=1555 if you want some more space in ROM (/system partition)
It's not more RAM that you need; it's more internal memory. Unfortunately, if you want Play Store, you don't have much choice but to delete certain things which aren't essential.
Use ICS or GB based roms if you don't want to delete things to make room for Play Store.

There is way to increase ram but I doubt it will work on cm 10 I am using cmx and ram extended to 713mb and anyway what you need is more internal memory and not ram.

Easy all you need is to create a swap partition.
Now there are two ways
1. You go into recovery mode. Then advanced then partition sd card then select the ext partition size then it will ask swap size select whatever size you wish then let the process complete. This method will erase everything on your sd card but will give more stability and better performance than the next method.
2. Open Google play then search for swapit if you find it then download it I think it is free if it isn't then download swapper but I would still suggest swapit. Anyway whichever you download create a swap file through the app in sd card and not ext. After the process is complete you will have increased your ram.
You have successfully increased your ram but now you need to configure your device to recognize the extended ram so download ram manager(pro) from anywhere open it and select multitasking then see the device performance in the app it is like a speedometer it will be around 60 now just clear ram and swoop it becomes full.
You will surely see a significant change though most of it depends on your quality of sd card I have no problems hope even you don't.

Because you've installed many apps.
Ok but what about " you can install lots of apps on your Ace with ext4 partition" ? But you are still limited, right?

There are sufficient memory are available in your internel.that you can move applications to your sd.but These scripts are for a min.class 6 sd card user.
Also Runs on class 4 with poor performance.
Do this trick..it will improve your performance.
Go to titanium backup.
First convert such system apps to user apps what you wont be use much.
Second convert such a user apps into system apps that you are using daily.
Not increase memory but definately gives performance to you.

umm
Use int2ext script, IMO it's better
1. Boot into recovery
2. Backup your current rom
3. Flashing the script:
>>> mount data
>>> mount system
>>> mount sd-ext
>>> format SD-EXT (YOUR EXTERNAL PARTITION, NOT YOUR SD!)
4. Flash the script
5 Done, Reboot!

If you format "SD-EXT partition" you only wipe de SD-EXT partition don't worry about losing SDCARD data.
The SDCARD won't be touched

How i managy the apps they i want to go on The ext?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Int2ext mounts the ext partition as /data partition in the settings of the phone you will see your internal memory for apps increased as big as the ext partition you created on the sdcard. So you don't need any app to manage this function. If you installed link2sd you should delete the script created by that app in order to use int2ext. I'll attach an example image on how int2ext works on my galaxy ace.
Ups...thank you, sorry...that was nooblike as ****..
