I unlocked my bootloader from flashtool...i want to make confirm about my work..how can i confirm it...
You probably have not unlocked it then
dial
*#*#7378423#*#* and goto service info / configuration
If it says bootloader unlocked: yes - then its unlocked
If it says bootloader unlock allowed: yes - then its still locked but you can unlock it
If it says bootloader unlock allowed: no - then its locked and you can not unlock it
You must use the code given to you from the Sony website to unlock it, although you can use flashtool you must still get that code from Sony

If you backup your TA you can relock afterwards and they wont know. However, there is no official way so that's why they say it. And, technically, even if you relock your bootloader you have still voided your warranty so claiming on warranty even if you have relocked is fraud
Well, technically speaking, not giving you full admin rights for a device you paid in full for is kind of like fraud too. I never heard of anyone selling locked Windows OSs for full price to grown adults. Yet, this is considered normal in mobile phones. I understand that this is a great tool of preventing damage by uninformed users, but the absolute same thing can be said about the Windows OS, yet it gives you full admin rights and the right to do whatever you want to with these rights.
In my view it is fraud to force (not literally force, but you are pretty much forced if you want to use apps at all) people to give permissions to the >>unchecked by Google<< apps in their own official Play Store. Recently the number 1 app there was found to be completely fake. Who will protect me from this, Google? I don't think so. This has to change.
You do not need root to install apps not downloaded from the Play store
This has been discussed ad nauseam, and its not fraud because they do not tell you otherwise before buying the device.
So, it is written in plain text somewhere, that 'you have absolutely no control over what permissions apps will have on your device' ? People with rooted devices can safely choose exactly what permissions each app will have, yet if you 'use your phone properly' you will not have such authority. Over you OWN phone.

Bootloader locked means u cannot load anything at boot that would tinker with the basic core of the device, like u cannot use custom kernels when ur bootloader is locked that is y ppl unlock their boot loaders Google for further info.
As for the OP's problem :
This is a known issue when u root ur device without unlocking bootloader, the solution to this is to do a full repair using Sony Suite which will result in loss of all data phone ,SD card etc .
check this link out its clearly stated over there
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186368
Troubleshooting:
if your device has unlockable bootloader then after applying this hack the bootloader status will turn "Bootloader unlock allowed: No"
in that case dont worry the users have reported that doing a repair via SEUS will flash back stock firmware and turn this status to "Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes" (the same might also be achieved by flashing a stock FTF using FlashTool <yet to be confirmed>)
ROOT WILL BE LOST BY DOING THE ABOVE AND YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE MAY GET WIPED!
SO DO A BACKUP OF APPS & INTERNAL STORAGE ON AN EXTERNAL SDCARD/PC
How so some people can unlock the bootloader and some can't??

So, my lovely XZ that is supposedly locked to Three UK says bootloader unlockable=no. However, when I hold up and plug in the usb, the light goes blue and Flashtool reports that a fastboot device is connected. Isn't fastboot unusable on a locked bootloader? Anything simple I can do to check this?
Secondly, if fastboot can be accessed, and I have an auto-generate key from the Sony bootloader unlock site, will this still now work if bootloader unlockable=no? Or am I barking up the incorrect trees here? I have toa dmit I didn't check whether bootloader was unlockable before flashing the stock variation by [NUT] and I know the root method he uses sometimes sets this value to "no" even though it was previously yes. Would flashing the "fix" for this to check break anything if the bootloader isn't unlockable?
Operator locked Phones can't be unlocked, so yes, your barking up the wrong tree.

I will. I did have faith in the great Devs here coming up with a solution, but that has since faded from what I've been reading, and we've got Sony, along with the operators to blame for that.
Mainly the operators. I actually asked 3 why they locked the bootloader. They spun some crap about security and kept telling me that I could to to Sony to unlock it which shows they know nothing. Seems like it's all in the ta partition but without doing a diff of a hex dump of unlocked and locked from the same device don't really know what can be done.

Just received the XSP as an upgrade on T-Mobile UK and was disappointed to discover via the service menu that the bootloader is unlockable. Forgive me for asking but does this mean that there is absolutely no chance that at any point in the future I will be able to unlock it? I would like to use custom roms and want to know if I kight as well look for a new phone. This was never a problem on my old Optimus Black.
Thanks in advance.

Praise the (Doom)Lord! Will this allow us to unlock the boot then andflash custom roms?
Just to make it clear bootloader is locked this means no custom kernel which might mean custom ROMs are out ie. Cm,akop,PAC etc
You will be able to root using doomlord exploit and in time will get cwm for locked bootloader so we be able to use modded stock ROMs.
As it stands only root is available for locked bootloader hope this helps

There is a way to unlock your bootloader. You must get a SIM unlock code, unlock your SP and send an email to Sony with some data like Imei, unlock code, etc. Then a messenger will be sent to pick your phone and lucky, Sony will unlock your phone.

Few days ago sent an email to Sony asking about this issue. Here in Spain there was a global complaint from Xperia U users asking for open the possibility of unlock their bootloaders: not to unlock it but to change the "unlockable" state of the phone. After the debate, Sony says people could send their phones to Sony attaching the respective unlock code with which they'd unlocked (SIM Unlock). Then Sony would send the telephones with the bootloader unlockable.
PS: Maybe he meant "not unlockable" instead "unlockable". If it's unlockable then he doesn't have any problem!

Yeah, mate. You have to send a message to Sony saying you've (sim) unlocked your phone and you want to unlock your bootloader. They will send you all the information you need to go through with the process.
So, I want to install Cyanogenmod on my XZ, using flashtool to unlock the bootloader and doomlord's expliots to root.
However, won't rooting first re-lock the bootloader? Or unlocking the bootloader remove root? Both things wipe the everything, so... Help lpease?
Whatever you do, be sure to backup your TA partition before you unlock your bootloader: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598. To do this, you first need to root your device without unlocking your bootloader.
Otherwise you will lose your DRM keys permanently and you will never be able to use certain functions (like Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2) anymore, not even if you relock your bootloader and restore to a stock ROM.
Please also note that by requesting a bootloader unlock key from Sony, the IMEI number of your phone gets blacklisted and your warranty is void.

Go to http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/unlock/step1. At step 2, you need to agree with the following legal terms before you can continue:
I acknowledge that use of the boot loader may void the phone’s warranty.
I acknowledge that, if Sony does perform any warranty repairs, Sony may charge a service fee for additional costs associated with the modified software.
So if a phone with an unlocked bootloader (or relocked bootloader) needs to be repaired, your warranty may be void, it's completely up to Sony to decide about that and they have the legal right to charge you for the repair because you agreed to those terms. If that's fine with you, you can continue to unlock your bootloader and flash a custom ROM like CyanogenMod. I myself would only consider this after official firmware updates have been discontinued.

Damn, so you say if i request an unlock key for my bootloader, but never use it. Do it still void my warranty. I mean, maybe some people change there mind after they request the unlock key and never use it to unlock the bootloader.

You should only request the key if you're going to unlock your phone. Sony has no way to check if you unlocked your phone and then restored a TA backup, so that's why they require you to register your IMEI number.

Anyway, if Sony refuses warranty, you could go to court and argue that you only requested the key, but didn't use it. Then it's up to the judge to decide if requesting the key (and agreeing to those terms) is enough evidence or not. However, I think most people won't go to court and just pay for the repair or buy a new phone. What I meant to say is: just be careful and think twice before doing such modifications
I think Denmark have pretty strict rules to protect the consumer, so I really doubt that Sony would get away with applying these rules here - but this definitely makes me not want to unlock the bootloader before I have seen Sonys 4.4 firmware.
Thanks for the info!
That being said, I think Sonys stock ROM works really well.
I'm rootet, running SwiftKey, Handcent SMS, Aqua Mail, HD Widgets an Apex Launcher Pro. I get 3 - 4 hours of screen time on stock settings.
I have no reason to really want another ROM.
Had it been a Samsung or HTC device I would have needed to strip the device of all the bloat
ware and get rid the massive battery drain, caused by wake locks from the manufacturers ROM.

I'm not sure to what extent it can be relocked one day, but Sony phones generally have had a sort of fuse (meaning that even relocking _usually_ does not mean restoring to original state, unless you are able to do TA backups with a hack).
TL;DR: if you really want to resell it as locked, don't unlock it.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-1/help/xperia-1-drm-keys-locking-bootloader-t4079715
You can see on the Xperia 1, using fastboot you can relock the phone, and apparently this even restores DRM functionality (though no guarantees). But it will still have "YES" for "is ever unlocked" — so you'd be relocking it, but it would still be indicated in the service menu that this was once an unlocked phone.
