I received it,but not official's.Mango RTM,version 7720,released by xda-developers,So far,no big improvement.after update finished,you should check update for your phone in Zune software(version 4.8),a new update is available,comes from samsung,update it.it seems fix some system bugs,no great changes.

Yup breaking up the updates a little worked fine, for some reason it seems UpdateWP was timing out before transfer had completed. All updated now though

I have the same problem with my Omnia 7. It just sits at Goodbye. What to do?
UPDATE.
I reseted my phone, but then I read that you have to wait about 5 minutes till phone reboots Updated
What? 7720?

for those who have problems with rebooting, just wait it will restart eventually.
No need to reset data, i had to wait maybe 5-7 mins so its normal.
otherwise no problems with 7720
updatewp times out every time on my device
all good after all restting the phone to factory then try the last step it went all smooth. will report back on the any problems..

I hope you have a back up of NoDo .. there is a registry trick to enable extra languages so that during the update for Mango it adds them automatically!

The last step was timing out all the time,
but I saw a suggestion of deleting some files in the batch-file.
(the ones with a buildnumber < 7712)
Without these files the reboot was in time!
And everything got trought it!

quick question, i don;t want to lose all my data...did you just split up the batfile in multiple updatewp processes?

so, if this is the "real" version...which features of the 500 announced are actually included?
mine kept timing out, i had to make 6gb of space available on my device, i deleted all vids, music and a few games, after that it worked.
i just wanted to make sure i kept some game progress i had made in certain games while updating rather than losing the lot.
Updated mine last night to 7720 and woke up this morning with my phone saying there was an update available. Plugged it into Zune and seems like a Samsung specific update; anyone else got this? Doing the update now, I'm on an unbranded 16gb version of the Omnia 7.

I received an OTA update last night for my phone for Android Lollipop. If I had known better, I wouldn't have updated it.
Since the update, my screen doesn't timeout or lock, it just restarts. If I press the power button to turn the screen off, it restarts. I can either shut the phone off completely or keep the screen on, which obviously kills the battery pretty quick.
I tried doing factory reset already, issue is still there. I tried wiping cache partition, same issue.
At this point, I would really like to downgrade to KitKat. Is that possible? And if so, how? I'm on a Vodafone UK contract. My phone is not unlocked.
Any other solution that might help. I don't know what else to do. Please help.

sounds like your phone is broken ..return it if it's Locked and never rooted
Finally fixed
In the end, I had to unlock the bootloader, root the phone and flash a customer ROM (Android Revolution). It worked! Now, I can finally switch my screen off without the phone restarting!

you also lost your warranty in the process. If it had not worked you would have been stuck paying for a repair

I recently installed a security upgrade (24th Jan 2019). Now the phone is stuck cycling between the Powered by android screen and the Nokia screen. My volume up button stopped working a long time ago. Is there another way to hard reset the phone please?

I wasn't aware the January security patch had been released yet. Did it arrive on your device via OTA or did you manually install it?
It arrived on my device. Yes it's a Nokia 8 with android 8.1

Did you unlock your bootloader , flashed TWRP and then changed the slot? Slot A to B or vice versa?
If so, then the solution is
How to solve!
I simply waited until the battery ran out
When battery was completely dead and no Nokia-logo appear any more >>
Then I charged the battery 3% juice without booting
and from there I entered recovery-mode with the help of a USB cable.
Holding the volume+ button while connecting the USB-cable
From TWRP-recovery I changed to the other inactive slot
and whooala, that's it!
after updating to android 10 the sim card isn't working it keeps get no signal and makes wifi close by it's self not working and the phone start a loop of restart for awhile but if the air plane mode is on phone works fine so anyone can help
