HD7 unlocking help

hi guys i got my phone unlocked and everything was fine then i updated it to 7.0.7390.0 and now cant get it unlocked using the chevronwp7 unlocked.
i keep getting the "sorry i am having trouble communicating " error and i followed the steps here

but after the update still cant unlock.

Hello , I have c09 version under 6.0 marshmallow , i want unlock bootloader for i can downgrade to 5.1.1 android , but i can't find this option on developper options,

I have do FRP ERASE with dc unlocker and get bootloader unlocked code
But no way to unlock bootloader without oem unlock option enabled
Help me please

for all the Mate S Owners who updated to Android 6.0 with an pushed OTA Update. There is currently no way to downgrade to 5.1.1.
If you upgrade without an unlocked bootloader, your device will be FRP locked. The not visible OEM-Unlock option is some kind of bug. without it you´re not able to unlock the bootloader and rollback.
It´s also not possible to force update with the 5.1.1 Update.app. It will cancel after 5% and abort the update. If not, your device will most probably get bricked because of an update error.
You have to wait for a new update or an official rollback file from huawei
and please stop spamming this forum. No one will help you if you keep going on.

As far as I know.. There isn't currebtly a way back to 5.1.1...I've tried a TWRP backup and that also failed

You can go back you need the fw lollypop and Huaweiupdate extractor..........extractor Boot.img cust.img recovery1.img recovery2.img and the System.img.........Run cmd and Flash the Files

Unlock BootLoader "Canada"

Hello,
i'm trying to unlock my bootloader to flash TWRP etc... everywhere it says to go to huawei website and request unlock code... but when i do i get transfered to my country webpage " canada " and there is no UNLOCK.
im stuck i have no idea where i must go... tried everything and i cant register on main site as canada.

well got it unlocked... but now when i try to install TWRP on huawei p10... it keeps giving me the Erecovery... any help ?

I have the same problem.
The thing is that I have already been able to restart in TWRP (full backup made in TWRP when I rebranded my Rogers VTR-L09 to VTR-L29).
For some unknown reason, I am now unable to restart in TWRP.

How?

how did you unlock the bootloader? i am trying to unlock it but canada is not in the country selection on the website. i want to flash a generic system image of android 8.1 since i just got emui 8.0 and that my phone is treble compatible. thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't remember...
I had a lot of trouble to get my code but I did not noticed how I have done it... Sorry.

For unlock I just followed the bootloader section in the rebranding guide. No different than from the other phones. Bell L09

Are there currently any ways to unlock the Mate 10 (/Pro)'s bootloader?

After Huawei killed their bootloader unlock website, users have been left unable to unlock their bootloaders. Is there something like dc-unlocker for the Mate 10 (Pro)?

As far as I know there's only one for the Lite, it didn't detect my phone

DC-Unlocker not supported the following devices:
WARNING:
Huawei P20 EML-xxx all versions not supported
Huawei P20 Pro CLT-xxx all versions not supported
Huawei Mate 10 ALP-xxx upgraded to Android 8x not supported
Huawei Mate 10 Pro BLA-xxx upgraded to Android 8x not supported
Huawei P10 VTR-xxx upgraded to Android 8x not supported
Huawei P10 plus VKY-xxx upgraded to Android 8x not supported
Huawei Mate 9 MHA-xxx upgraded to Android 8x not supported

DC-unlocker works if you're on BLA-L29C432B142 or lower. They did something in B145 which fixed dc-unlockers unlock code generation and the backdoor they use with DC-Phoenix. And you can't use FH to downgrade either (Not tested on B145 but on B148-SP1).
I'm not sure what builds are on other custs, but this is the Night Shot update on C432.

F*ck, my phone was 142 and I have updated in 145 just out of the Box...

Dc-unlocker Give it a crack might still work, you just need to make sure you put the phone into management mode so it can read it phone. Just unlocked mine last night. Running magisk v16 working decrypted twrp and emui 8.0

Followed that guide, created an account cost me 4 EUR to read bootloader code.

Typed fastboot oem unlock (code here without brackets)
Device will reboot and factory reset.

Fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp_bla_alp_0.7.img
Decryption and touch both working.
Install Magisk 16.0, Enjoy

The question is from 148 is this possible to Downgrade with Funky Huawei to lower, 142 for example and Root with DC unlocker ?

No it is not, at least one user couldn't (I know it's not much, but it's a friend of @Pretoriano80). I think someone in the Funky thread tried too.
It finds update and that but stays on 0% forever. He was trying to downgrade to both b145 and b142.

Was this on a recent purchase? I really want to pull the trigger but don't want a permanently locked phone. Anyone know if they are shipping phones over 142?

Bought it two weeks ago and when I set the phone up I received the OTA to 132 build, I'm in the UK by the way

I have mate 10 pro running 8.0.0.141(c636) and I just tried dc it didnt work just got unknown error 375 everytime it tried to read it.

Has anyone tried BLA-A09 8.0.0.119(C567) I cant get dc unlocker to even recognize my phone.

Used DC Locker today on BLA-A09 8.0.0.111 fresh out of the box.

The one issue I ran into was fastboot oem unlock wouldn't work initially. I went into developers options to find the oem unlocking feature greyed out. To fix this turn off automatic updates in developers options. Then put your sim card in and restart your phone. (I was keepoing the sim card out to prevent updates) I was able turn on the OEM unlocking feature after this.

Have you tried the fix? Worked for me, but I kept getting hung up on the drivers initially.

I got it to work. I just had to change it from modem to phone

Guys, i just bought mate 10 lite and i have bunch of noob questions. Instead of starting new thread i wanted to ask here.
So my phone on RNE-L21C185B142 version. I read the forums and got my bootloader unlock code from dc-unlocker before its too late. So i am able to unlock my bootloader and root my phone right now.
1- Should i unlock my bootloader? I was using cyanogenmod and lineageos on my previous 2 phones. I like customize my phone thats why i install custom roms.
2-If i unlock my bootloader am i still able to get official updates somehow (like flashing from adb or twrp) without relocking bl?
3-If i install custom rom or root can i go back to stock 8.0.0.142 version so i can unlock my bl again?

will we ever get a Nokia 8 custom ROM?

The official bootloader unlock method has been out for a while. Its almost 2 years since the phone has been released. I was hoping by now maybe some developer would have picked this phone up and put it to use. Is there a reason why nobody has bothered to start development on this phone and build a custom ROM? I think this phone has great potential given its specs and price. It would be nice to so further customizations beyond those allowed by rooting the phone.
I could do it too if I had any amount of knowledge about Android development, but sadly im a noobie.
What are your thoights?

It's not possible I guess. And Nokia has locked down. Unlocking bootloader. I have Nokia official app and it says Device not support.

No, Nokia hasnt locked it down. The bootloader unlock method only works up to the November Oreo security update. Just downgrade to Oreo November security update then unlock the bootloader, and then upgrade back to Pie.

I would suggest using another pc and unlock the bootloader.
