4.3 OTA from today...

Hi folks,
I'm pretty excited to see what's there with the 4.3 update. And I believe the OTA update rolls out today for all the Nexus devices...
Anyone got the OTA update already?

I'm wondering when the official OTA will be released. All of the other threads involve additional steps, as well as needing a PC to install.

I have now 4.5hrs forcing ota like a mad person with ADB ready to pull the link no luck, I believe isn't ready for Nakasi yet. 4.5hrs forcing it come on at some point it should appear but 4.5 hrs nothing. Damn is not ready yet. :frown:

Thoughts on rumored Nexus 5

Thought I'd start a discussion on who'd sell their nexus 4 in favor of the possible nexus 5 if the rumored spec sheet was true. I think the renders look awesome! (p.s. I'm not speculating, i just want to hear opinions.)

That's because we only need 1 thread. This is the Nexus 4 forum after all.

Please use the existing Nexus 5 thread. Discussion of a phone's successor is allowed, but there's no reason to have multiple threads until an official announcement has been made.

Stop making Nexus 5 threads. Also, as a general rule on XDA, never make a thread from the Tapatalk app that consists of 2 words. Head on over to the Engadget comment section for that.

ART questions

Ok I have some questions about the new ART mode in KitKat. 1) what is it? 2) which is better, ART or dalvik? 3) what are the pros and con's of using one over the other? 4) what would one have to do to make an app compatible with ART? Does the all's developer have to do it or is it something one can change on their own?

Because when you do an "unfiltered search of the entire internet" for ""What is ART runtime"" the second link, because I felt like reading the first link to easy, literally answers every question. With bolded titles on each topic he asked about.
