Got a strange issue with XSP. It has stopped booting into Android and only boots into recovery. Whether turned off or restarted in CWM, it just boots straight back into CWM, over and over. Even when turned off and plugged in to charge, it boots back into CWM (it has never had the offline charging bug).
It is a sim-free model with the bootloader still locked. It was running the original stock (2.254) ROM with various mods. It has worked well for 3 months and this problem has suddenly occurred. No changes to the OS or new apps installed (or even apps updated) for almost 3 months.
Any thoughts, ideas or help, would be appreciated.
Edit: Only way I can get it to boot into Android is to press the hard reset button under the back cover. But when it is rebooted/turned off in Android it goes back to only booting into CWM.
Maybe a hardware damage with the volume button? Flash the rom again or the stock to look it's go away.

Hi,
Completely new here - but been trying to find some assistance.
I got the Huawei P9 over the weekend and decided to Root it, so that I can play around with it a bit more and its been working fine for a few days. I used the instructions over at stechguide on how to unlock bootloader, and how to root and install TWRP recovery (cant post direct links due to first post).
Today I rebooted my phone, and it now wont power back up - it just sits on the Huawei Logo screen.
I am quite clueless when it comes to this, so I have been looking at trying to put a Stock ROM back onto the phone (P9 EVA-L09 B136), but nothing seems to be working as I am doing it wrong.
Can anybody please help me?

TWRP Recovery screen? Because I have tried the Huawei eRecovery and it connects to my WiFi, then I get error "Getting package info failed".

go to TWRP recovery....then reboot to bootloader
But the full Rom (~1,5gb) on the SD card in folder dload (root directory). You need eRecovery for the following, turn phone off, push all tree buttons at the same time, hold it until update comes on the screen. It should flash the Rom! If your phone shows after that still the unlocked notification, do all these steps one more time.
