You sideload or push it to the phone with adb
In Twrp go advanced sideload
Then from pc command line
adb sideload name of Rom.zip
Or
adb push Rom.zip /sdcard/

Thanks
i cannot find a rom that my phone will accept!
it is really frustrating to be so close!
can you help me to s-off so i can change my rare cid to something else?

Why don't you find correct Ruu of your phone go to stock after relocking the bootloader ( make sure to flash latest firmware via adb)
Boot once and unlock your bootloader again ( it will format your sdcard ) now copy any rom you want to your sdcard. Flash recovery and flash rom enjoy.
I did this thing when I bricked my HO.

Why not try ARHD rom. It's stock only better
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183023
And to learn how to sideload or push the rom

Just make sure you have TWRP 2.6.3.3 installed and not a lower version

What version of TWRP was you on.. It has to be 2.6.3.3 and if it was CWM that will not work with ARHD. .. also try fastboot erase cache after installing.. and make sure that the version of ARHD is for your phone.. read the installation guide

it was the the correct version for my phone
what can i use instead of cwm?
If your trying to flash a kitkat rom. It has to be TWRP 2.6.3.3 or you could try 2.6.3.4. Install from fresh.

I used CWM recovery and flashed the ROM off a usb stick using an OTG cable i found lying around. Seemed to do the trick!

to flash a custom recovery
I'm hoping you have knowledge of adb or slightly at least. If not, do some googling and brush up because it's very handy (and easy)
Boot phone into bootloader
1. connect to PC, your phone should read 'Fastboot USB'
2. Open a cmd window in adb/fastboot folder (Shift and right click, then chose 'Open command window here')
3. drag a recovery.img (TWRP or CWM) into the adb folder too
4. type: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img, it should flash within a couple of seconds
then you can try using the recovery to sideload a rom via adb.
I'm not sure about stock since i've never had any issues with custom roms recoverys etc. but many guides are available if you are trying to revert to stock.
good luck

You can't mount USB via twrp. Sideload or Push is the only 2 options.
drag zip to adb folder
adb sideload rom.zip
then wait until it's done, the script should run automatically on the phone after completion

Cant push as adb device isnt located and sideload wont locate device either
I will suggest the following:
Download files from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2244106&page=95
Then flash firmware.4.20.980.1.zip in RUU mode..
From bootloader mode, do a factory reset, then flash custom rom.
Try ADB push/sideload again from INSIDE custom recovery.
Post back the results.

Tried that just now it says
Updating Partition details...
Full SELinux support is present...
Formatting data using make_ext4fs function.
You may need to reboot to recovery to be able to use /data again.
Updataing Partition details.
EDIT: Ok so now it says i have 26GB of internal storage now... What should i do? It ended up rebooting into recovery with that so i guess it worked?
Ive tried this 2 times and same error..
Im using TWRP and ADB is still not working even after flash... Only fastboot works Only just bought this phone and I need it for work ahahaha
Alrighttt guys. Think i may have a solution! Going up o my local PLE store here in Perth to get a OTG cable. Using ARHD as my rom and will let you know within the next hour or so as to if it works.
The OTG cable will definitely work and it's very handy to have. You mustnt have the drivers installed properly or else adb would work in recovery

OTG works but the ARHD 51.x file dosnt boot fully, gt stuck at HTC one logo so 1 step after where it stopped last time, i just need to find a stock os zip to flash to it
Solved, No longer bricked thanks the the members on XDA and the lovely 12 dollar OTG cable i have bought. Just put the zip onto the otg cable and flashed to my phone through TWRP. Now fully working and all partitoned.
I am having a weird issue that I have not been able to fix it. The only custom recovery that works with my device is twrp 2.6.3.3.
I flashed the newer versions of twrp and the latest version of cwm for m7 - it flashes successfully (no error during flashing), but when trying to enter recovery, it gets stuck at "entering recovery" screen (restart recovery-->shows up the "entering recovery" screen-->for one secong the screen goes black --> goes back to htc splash with "entering recovery" message)
also, the factory recovery WORKS.
I tried:
- fastboot erase cache - reflash recovery
- factory reset - fastboot erase cache - flashed recovery
- I even downgraded the software version: wiped all the phone, including internal storage; flashed twrp 2.6.3.3 - adb loaded 4.19.401.11 stock - flashed factory recovery - updated the official OTAs back to 6.09.401.5
nothing helped.

did you try out the latest Unofficial TWRP 2.7.1.2? im using it and havent looked back, works execelent (at least for me)

yes, I tried that - no luck :/
thanks though
it has to do something with not wiping the cache after flashing the recovery ... I think
after every failed twrp2.7xx or latest cwm flash , I need to flash the 2.6.3.3 version that works flawlessly.
what i notice right away, is that whatever i try to do in there, i m getting E:Unable to mount '/cache'
wipe--advanced--select cache--wipe works though and after that everything is ok in 2.6.3.3
i tried fastboot erase cache, did`t make any difference
i´m pretty much out of ideas...
You will always get unable to mount cache in recovery after you do a fastboot erase cache. Have you been using that command after you flash the recovery? I just noticed you've been doing that before you flash it. You should flash the recovery. Then erase cache

thanks a lot for the info.
I will give it another go. I tried via flashify as well - same outcome

still no success. I even ruu-ed it til the ver. 1.19.xx.xx and gradually used the official ota to update to 6.09.401.5. same issue, it says that flashed successfully, but doesn't enter recovery ; staying stucj at the htc splash page with ^entering recovery ^ text. I'm out of ideas, using sense roms anyway. it's just that it drives me kookoo not knowing why this is happening ??

Have you tried 2.8.0.1?
---------- Post added at 01:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:47 PM ----------
Also: You may have to take everything back to factory. Turn s on if off. Relock bootloader. Run RUU. Enter factory recovery and perform factory reset. Unlock bootloader, Flash TWRP, and root.
hello
I have the htc one model PN07100

You have the Sprint version of the HTC One. are you sure your using the Sprint version of the roms your flashing ? the GSM roms wont work and be careful cos if you keep flashing them they will kill your phone, the partition layouts are different.
Also make sure your using the recommended version of recovery for the flashes, on the GSM version its TWRP 2.6.3.3
Your HTC One is Sprint M7-wls, you should only be flashing Software for Sprint phones, The Roms you've tried are for International HTC One M7_ul.
Download TWRP from here and flash it with fastboot http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7wls To be certain you have a Sprint compatible recovery.
[
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name-of-recovery.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Boot to TWRP, Select "Wipe" then "Format Data" You will be prompted to type Yes to continue. When its done Reboot Recovery.
Download a Sprint Rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-one/development put the rom file in your fastboot folder and rename it rom.zip.
With the phone on the TWRP home screen connect usb and push the rom to the phone
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
The command window will appear unresponsive until the push completes. When its done install the rom with TWRP.

Is that with all ROM's ? Just try a different one, maybe the one you tried is just a little unstable.

It's worth trying a different ROM, but if all else fails you should be able to return to stock using the RUU and Firmware from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2795856
You will probably need to flash the firmware first to downgrade your hboot before the RUU will flash. I'm not 100% sure how that works for Sprint phones. It certainly won't do any harm so best to do it anyway. If the problem continues after the RUU then Unfortunatly it probably means you've damaged your flash memory some how. Does the device still have warranty?
thanks a lot friends!
I've installed the viper rom and it's works fine!
thanks again!
I'm trying to flash the new recovery to my HTC One but it just says waiting for device. I don't think my PC recognizes my phone. Its stuck in a bootloop also. On the bootloader it says fastboot usb though.

Windows 8 can be a bit finicky when it comes to fastboot. Is your device on hboot 1.44? Windows 8 is in no way compatible with hboot 1.44 if its anything higher you probably just need to play with the drivers.
What is the device listed as in Device Manger on the PC? It should be "My HTC"

They both appeared to have worked. I pushed the rom to my phone and installed it successfully, however when I went to reboot the phone it got to the beats audio htc start up screen, and appears to be frozen.
Any ideas there? I have a telus phone and I used the international Android Revolution HD rom from the newest version.

It seems to be stuck at that same screen again, is it supposed to take a long time (>15mins) to boot the first time? I don't want to boot into recovery if it needs to set up or something. The phone is almost at capacity memory wise.
Hi guys,
I did one really stupid thing, I attempted to flash firmware to the HTC One m7 but I completely forgot that I have S-On. Now my phone is in a reboot loop. I can get to the HBOOT and FASTBOOT, however my sdcard is not accessible (Can't mount). Is there a way to recover from this situation?

Flashing firmware is generally no problem with s-on. But it will have restored your Stock Recovery and boot.img. After flashing and unlocking the bootloader (FYI Unlocking the bootloader will wipe internal storage and user data) you would need to flash your custom recovery and the boot.img for your rom.
Were you running a custom rom when you updated your firmware?
Did you Relock your bootloader before flashing the firmware?
Was the firmware flash successful or did it fail?

Ok so if the bootloader was unlocked the flash failing is inevitable. But it shouldn't have damaged your device. Since s-on should protect from flashing anything wrong. So the good news is it should be fairly simple fix.
I'm assuming you flashed the firmware with fastboot and not with recovery?
So Internal Storage not mounting could be due to a number of things. Do you have a working recovery? If so which recovery? Name and version please :good:

Your firmware is pretty old so updating it wouldn't be a bad idea but let's focus on getting it booting again.
To get your sd storage to Mount you can try to repair it with e2fsck or you can format it. Formatting will wipe it's contents though.
To format go to Mounts and Storage options in CWM, and select Format Sdcard.
To attempt to repair with e2fsck. Boot to CWM go to Mounts and Storage and make sure all partitions are UN-Mounted. While still in recovery connect the usb to your pc and open an adb/fastboot command window. Enter these commands
Code:
adb shell
e2fsck -fvy dev/block/mmcblk0p35
e2fsck -fvy dev/block/mmcblk0p36
e2fsck -fvy dev/block/mmcblk0p37
exit
Once your sdcard is mounting you can install a Rom.
You can also use adb in recovery to copy a Rom to the device if you need to.
Put the Rom in your adb/fastboot folder and rename it something simple like rom.zip
Then push the Rom with
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
The command window will appear unresponsive until the push is complete. When it's done install it with CWM.

It's alive! Thanks a lot!!!
Had to do
Code:
adb push rom.zip /data/media/
because push to /sdcard was just replacing an existing symlink with the file .
Could you please point me to some up to date firmware and firmware install guide? It all started when I decided to upgrade my old cyanogen with a new viperone and couldn't install it because of old firmware .

Cool, good news So now your able to boot you should consider gaining s-off. With s-off it will be much easier to update firmware. Also right now you can do it with rumrunner which is free to use. If you update your firmware then decide to s-off later you will have to use Sunshine App which costs $25 to use.
So it's better to do it now.
If you flashed Cyanogen Mod again then you will need to flash a stock Rom for rumrunner to work so it means a little more tinkering but it will be worth it in the end.

Excellent glad you got it sorted. But for the record, with s-off there is no need to Relock the bootloader to flash firmware. Or anything for that matter. It's one of the many advantages of having s-off
