I tried to solve the problem whole nighg. after much much googling I could not able to repair my lg g flex. My "LG G Flex D959 T-Mobile". I was able to root my g flex succesfuly. But I have tried so many time to install CWM or TWRP on my g flex but i can not find any cwm recovery or TWRP for my LG G Flex D959 T-Mobile which work properly. After trying with some CWM Recovery/ TWRP file now I am even can not be able to factory reset. Every time when I tried to factory reset it just restart. Nothing happen. I also tried to hard reset (by power button + volume down key) but also nothing happen, just restart.
Please any body help me!
I thought my lg g flex d959 bootloader was unlocked so tried to install cwm. And I also tried to back to stock ron by lg flash tool but some reason B2CAppsetup not installing on my computer. My 1st desktop, 2nd desktop, and my laptop all 3 computer failed to install B2CAppsetup. So i am also unable to flash my lg g flex d959 to stock rom.

I had the same issue when I first got this phone.
Are you sure you're using proper method to get into recovery. If not it will only pop up the green man for a second then instantly boot looking like recovery failed
You have to power off then hold either vol up or vol down (don't remember which but I think up) then when lg screen appears let go of power and repress quickly still holding vol button. Then it will boot to recovery. Recovery doesn't look like normal. Only options are reboot normal or factory reset to default settings.

Are you able to help me understand what is wrong with the process im using?? i was on latest firmware for the LG flex (d959) 4.4.2. rooted. I attempted to install a custom recovery which messed my phone up. First attempt was with Freedom Flex( which forced closed right away) thats when i tried flashing with flashify. Long story short i had to reset to stock firmware, currently on 4.2.2 stock rooted for the LG Flex on t mobile. Freedom Flex still is not working, force closes, so what could i do to get recovery on this device??? i am intending to install a 4.2.2 ROM called 4.2.2 FLEX THIS v1.2. Can i just flash a TWRP zip (compatible for the flex) through flashify???

Hi,
My LG Optimus Black P970 is locked in boot loop and I can't fix it.
I did the whole procedure from this topic, until the last SFT screen with the message 'Download Complete' written in green. But the phone restarts and gets into boot loop again.
I tried to repair the phone with the LG Mobile Support Tool, but it didn't work either. In fact, after this last procedure the LG logo stopped appearing, now the screen just lights up (but does not show anything) and buttons LED blink.
What do I do?
Thank you
Initialization
Do yo turn off completely the phone and connect the usb cable without battery?

Thanks everyone for the replies. After several firmwares, I tried Europe V20S and it worked, at least partially. The boot loop is gone, but another problem appeared.
Now the screen is splitting into several. I think it might be a firmware conflict (for trying to install different firmwares repeatedly - do not know if I'm talking silly, noob here) and a wipe data / factory reset would help.
So I tried to follow this topic, since Optimus Black doesn't have a keycombination to get to Recoverymode on booting, but It didn't work.
Is there another way?
Thanks
Hello all, I rooted my G Flex while it was on 4.2.2. Then i did the OTA to 4.4.2, i tried to install TWRP for the Koren F340. That did not go to well, I am now stuck on the LG logo, my LG G Flex is not recognized by multiple computers, not even adb. I cannot get into download mode, the phone gets stuck on the download mode first screen with five dots.
Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated.
I think I am Hard Bricked...
Thanks in advance!!

I had the same problem with the phone not powering off. You can get it to power off by holding the power and volume down simultaneously for a while. When the phone goes black keep holding them for a few seconds and it should power off completely.

I was also stuck on factory status error 2. You should try TO TOT zv6. The way i was finally able to get things running was first i connected my phone to a different usb slot on my computer.
Then while using the LG flash tool I also switched to Board DL instead of Upgrade DL
your phone will reboot to the AAT Screen – Click OK (Yes, it says not to), then hold down power and press normal boot (+power).
Your phone will reboot and all should be well.

My wife's G4 is stuck on the white T-Mobile splash screen. I've pulled the battery and it just does the same thing. This happened while installing the MM ota. I can't get it to go into recovery mode using the power and volume down buttons. Advice?
I've tried to get both LGUP and LG Bridge to see the phone, but I have been unsuccessful.

I tried for an hour earlier to get LG UP to see the phone and was unsuccessful. I don't know why, because it worked just now. I was able to flash the MM .kdz and fix it. Thanks for getting me to try again.
Good morning,
I recently decided to attempt to root my LG G4 and install a custom ROM. I was able to unlock the bootloader and boot TWRP, but at this point I received an error when I tried to install the Cyanogenmod ROM that I had downloaded.
At this point, my phone is a brick. If I turn it on normally, the LG screen comes up and stays. There is a message in the upper lefthand corner saying that the bootloader is unlocked.
I am able to boot into download mode. I have tried using LGUP and the LG Flash Tool 2014 to flash the original kdz but I get connection errors with both approaches.
Any ideas what my next course of action should be?
Thanks in advance!
Mine is doing the same thing and I am getting errors on 9% on both versions of tools version 2014 and 2016. No one has an idea why? I have done this unit before what out any problems!
Use lg up and the newest kdz (20o). Manually enter download mode and then start lg up. Also you might have to download and install lg drivers onto your PC.

This is what solved the issue for me. I simply had the wrong KDZ. The 20o is the one I needed.
My lg g4 got the fault in the system where it stuck in the bootloader and all I did was us lg up and kdz 10n and the phone didn't boot but I was able to return it and get a phone because when you do that your deleted everything off it and making it to where it was when it came out of the box

One small thing you might want to try first. Open LGUP with your phone connected in download mode. Choose the kdz file you want to use, then CLOSE LGUP (leaving the phone connected). Then reopen LGUP and the kdz file should still be selected. Then click Start.

Have you try booting into download and open LG Bridge, software update and follow the steps it tells you?
Mine randomly restarted and entered a boot loop on the way into work today. I couldn't enter recovery. I just let it loop. When I checked it when I got to work about 30 minutes later, the screen was dark and I figured it had died. It was booted to my lock screen. The weird part is that all of my "recent apps" were still open. I'd taken the battery out several times. It now reboots without issue. Perhaps I slipped into an alternate universe where my phone didn't die on the way to work. #mandellaeffect
