Do not use the all in one kits..
Download TWRP 2.6.3.3
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
Put the file in your adb/fastboot folder.
Go to your adb/fastboot folder on your desktop and shift+right click anywhere in the folder and select "open command prompt here,"
Connect your phone to the PC and enter bootloader; and then enter the command fastboot flash recovery ( name of your recovery )

You don't need S-Off to flash the majority of roms. Pick one and use this guide

Have to tryed this from the faq?
Q: I have unlocked HBOOT 2.00.000 using the procedure at HTCDV.com and have installed a custom recovery and flash custom ROM xxxxxx, but it now hangs at the white HTC screen and won’t boot.
A: With the unlocked HBOOT 2.00.0000 the boot partition is mounted ReadOnly in Recovery mode, thus when you attempt to flash a custom ROM, the boot.img is not correctly updated.
You must manually extract the boot.img from the rom’s zip file and flash it in FASTBOOT USB mode.
1. Since you have an unlocked HBOOT 2.00.0000, then you have installed the Android SDK with adb.exe and fastboot.exe. Open the rom’s zip file and extract and copy the boot.img file to the same directory where adb.exe and fastboot.exe are installed.
2. Boot the phone into HBOOT by holding the Volume Down key and the Power key.
3. On the HBOOT menu select the FASTBOOT option.
4. Connect your phone to the PC.
5. From the PC type:
fastboot devices
6. You should see your device serial number output to the PC screen.
7. From the PC type:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
8. You should see the results of the boot.img being written.
9. From the PC type:
fastboot reboot
10. The phone should then reboot normally.

BTW it would be better if you had s-offed with nonverbose's tool, you wouldn't have to void warranty..
Sorry for my english, I'm not 100% sure that all I've written is correct xD

thank you so much. my english isnt so good either (i am from norway)
Have you got it working?
If not you could try flashing the boot.img. get the boot.img from the cm7 folder then but it in your android folder with your adb stuff. Then flash it from fastboot using commands.
Fastboot flash boot.img
I think that's what you would type? You might want to check.

The answer is in the second post of this thread!
Hi everyone,
I want to backup the stock recovery of my HTC ONE (M7UL).
I found this command: "fastboot boot recovery stock.img", but it doesn't work. I only get "cannot load 'recovery': No error"
Could you help me with this?
This fastboot command only works on hboot version up to 1.44
If you're on later version fastboot boot command doesn't work.
You could try recovery tools app from playstore or you will likely find the stock recovery for your version on xda thread .
See here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46032117

Best regards

Are there really not instructions in the first couple of posts of the CWM thread?
I seen a lot of topics that make me lost so thats why I demand help
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
- Download the recovery
- Put it into your adb/fastboot folder
- Rename the recovery into: recovery.img
- Boot in fastboot
- Use the command from a prompt/terminal:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
- Do an erase cache:
Code:
fastboot erase cache
- Done
Where and how do I type this commamd?

is that a 4.4 GPE ROM?
4.4 ROMs require TWRP 2.6.3.3+
and 4.4 GPE ROMs usually require S-Off, otherwise they'll bootloop

Ok, after some more reading and research i've finally managed to load ViperOne 3.5.0 rom. TWRP (2.6.1.0) says it's there and there's a backup done, But in bootloader mode it says S-ON, unlocked and rooted but the htc one just keeps rebooting all the time gets to white screen (htc quietly brilliant) and that's it........ then reboots over and over, until i manually press power and volume down to go to bootloader or recovery screen......
Any ideas?

First you should check the FAQ and see the information needed to make a request for help. We need the results from fastboot getvar all (minus your serial no. and IMEI). This will tell your software version, your mid, your cid, so we can try and help you find the files to fix your phone

@Mar1nc3
You could have posted it here, your phone is
hboot: 1.57
s-on
5.16.161.2
VODAP110
You have to go to HTCDEV.com and unlock your bootloader to flash roms
Unlock the bootloader at HTCDEV
then from fastboot USB
Flash recovery TWRP 2.6.3.3
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then sideload this Rom to your phone
http://www.androidrevolution.org/downloader/download.php?file=Android_Revolution_HD-One_84.0.zip
TWRP / Advanced / ADB Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload name-of-rom.zip
make sure the rom is in the same folder as adb / fastboot
