I flashed something I shouldn't have on Malladus 2.0. Lat night I tried adb sideloading, and it wouldn't go through. I think my phone died whilst in recovery. I don't have a booting ROM, and my phone won't charge. I don't know what to do. Please, help!
Nevermind, ended up booting, and I successfully fixed my phone!

First off Thanx to MT, the BROKENOUT 1.1 rom is awesome . So after almost a week of trying to get CWM recovery (with no results). I figured just factory data reset, run LGNPST and return to stock zv7. Before that I thought since I'm going back to stock, I would give it one more chance. I ran the code one more time using the terminal emulator and code from BRAD6360's post on installing cwm, as I did previously, ( more like 5 previous times). I tried booting into recovery by holding pwr & vol dwn and I got stock recovery. So after boot up I thought oh well, then something said try rebooting into recovery from CWM, I did and WAH-LAA clockworkmod recovery. Now I'm happy with my BROKEN OUT revo!!!!
I thought about it after I was on Broken out, Stock roms do not have custom recovery so no matter how many times I tried to boot into recovery it wasn't going to work.
I'm not sure if this will work for anyone else, but I hope it helps.
Still not sure why my computer was giving USB not recognized, maybe something with the zv8 rom
Glad you finally got it. I don't think the ZV8 s/w has anything to do with your USB connection problem. I have been having USB problems for months myself. I found a high speed USB cable in a box in my closet the other day while cleaning. I plugged it up to my phone and PC and voila it works again! I still have some problems with my visual voice mail app not detecting my SD now. So I've just ordered a new SD card.
I figured it was the rom since it was a all of the sudden thing for me. I did find that there were post from when the revo was first released, that it had usb problems also. So far no fixes yet unfortunately.
Okay, so last night, i decided I would go big or go home and try to root my phone. I was very successful and unlocking the bootloader, but was confused what to do after that. (I'm newb). So I downloaded Rom Manager on my phone, chose the ROM I wanted, and tried to reboot, but it said it couldn't install the ROM, because superuser didn't have the proper permissions. At this time it's about 2am, and I wanted to go to bed. In my knowledge I know i had the proper superuser.zip in my sdcard, and i had the CWM i wanted to flash on my sdcard. So I turned off my phone and plugged it into a wall charger, not looking at the LED, and went to bed. I woke up with the phone plugged in, and nothing showing (ie: LEDs, bootscreen). I unplugged the phone, and re-plugged it in, and the LED flashed once, and that was it.
NOW I CAN'T CHARGE THE PHONE, TURN IT ON, BOOT INTO HBOOT. MY COMPUTER DOESN'T RECOGNIZE IT EITHER. PLEASE HELP

Umm well ure battery is probably just dead. Charge it for a couple hours (you might not be able to access phone for like 20-30 minutes). After you can boot up, plug it into your computer and flash the recovery to the phone (its in every guide im not explaining it here). Then, go into CWM and flash the super-user arm script (once again, in every guide so im not explaining it here). Finally, ditch the ROM manager app and learn to do everything by hand so you actually know whats what in the recovery. BTW which guide are u following.

I just re-flashed. I guess I had a broken ROM. Just redownloaded the mirror, and re-flashed, everything works fine
Hey all, hopefully someone can help me out. Ill post the full story and the tl;dr version at the end.
So, my Xperia TL (LT30at) has been rooted for over a year and a half. Since i rooted it it never charged when turned off. I did research and couldnt figure out why, so i left it and have lived with it for the last year and a half. However, i just updated my phone to JB 4.3 by Dark Lord (Ultimate Pure XT ROM) so the model number is actually Xperia T (LT30) Anyways, the phone dies a lot quicker than before so the other day it died and because it wont charge when it is off i usually wrap a rubber band over the power button so itll charge enough to turn on and then charge by itself after that. However, it would only charge enough this time to boot, but then turn right back off. I did this for well over a day and got sick of it not working so i tried messing with things. In the process, I was in recovery (it was philz cwm or something like that, by the way im quite a noob when it comes to all of this, hence why im having problems) and i flashed the xposed disabler zip, thinking it would get rid of cwm because i didnt know what I was doing. It did end up getting the phone to turn on, and its charging great. However, the system UI crashes, and the "unfortunately the system UI has stopped working" pops up repeatedly so you cannot physically do anything on the phone. I tried going back into recovery to flash my backup to fix everything, but it was downgraded back to an older version of cwm, the version i origonally had on it before the 4.3 update. its like 6.0.3 or something, by david marcos or something. Anyway, itll go into recover but a bunch of error messages come up, like unknown volume path, no etc/recover.fstab, stuff like this. There is no way to flash any recoveries because it basically says it cannot find the paths. It will not backup, restore, wipe anything, flash from sideload, nothing. Ive tried all i can think of. Basically cwm comes on but i cant use it for anything. Instead i tried reinstalling cwm to try to fix it, but when i do it says "system cannot find path specified" so it wont download.
tl;dr version, cwm wont work at all after flashing xposed-disabler.zip. i cannot flash any recoveries or install anything through the usb. What do i need to do to fix this? because the system ui keeps crashing my phone is basically useless. thanks for dealing with a numskull..thanks in advance.
You can flash a stock rom with kernel using flash tool and then flash recovery and restore your backup.
Sent from my Xperia T using cm12

why i didn't think of that, i dont know.
This worked as far as getting the phone to boot and whatnot, however the phone died and because it doesnt charge when it is off, i cant turn it on. it will boot and itll get all the way to the home screen but it immediately shuts back down, even though it is plugged in. Is there any way to fix this charging bug? i did some research and found it is linked to cwm, however now that i flashed the stock rom i no longer have cwm on the phone, so why does it still not charge when off? Thanks for the help by the way..
I purchased the VZW Dev phone, using it for T-Mobile.
Rooted at some point, TWRP installed. I was using my old phone charger every now and then, but eventually the phone stopped recognizing it, forcing me to use the charger cable it came with. Come earlier this week, I see there's a software update out. Thinking it was Lollipop, I tried to install. Phone shut down, vibrated, refused to reboot without going through fastboot. So I turn the phone on through fastboot, the update says its been deferred, and then the phone shuts down by itself as if trying to update, and just vibrates.
I do a factory reset through TWRP, still have to turn on through fastboot, but the phone is working. I let the battery drain, charge to full, then try to update again. Same thing.
I plan to try flashing back to stock once Motorola gives me access to the file, but other than this, I'm stumped.
So you are trying to take an OTA with TWRP on your phone, rather than stock reocvery?
Yup, it will loop like that. You can NOT take an OTA update unless you have stock recovery on your phone.

Problem is resolved. After flashing back to stock, the device still refused to power on without doing so through fastboot. By chance, I stumbled upon your post about flashing a stock LOGO.bin, @KidJoe. Forgot I was using one to bypass the rooted message.
Hello everyone. I have encountered something I don't understand. My note suddenly turned off and wouldn't restart. I thought maybe my battery was low so I plugged it in and it started. I decided to get a new battery and charged it up same thing was going on sometimes it would restart and be fine I was running stock rooted rom twrp recovery never dropped it never messed with it. Then since i was having trouble I took it to a cell repair shop. I could boot to download and twrp but when i tried to back up the rom it would get to about 2 percent and shutdown. The only way the phone stayed on is if i am in download or twrp but i couldn't do anything repair shop couldn't help either. I was desperately trying to save some data off the phone when i gave up I said ok i will reflash it all goes well in odin it reboots then says applying update but never gets past the boot farthest i have got is the tmobile screen. then it shuts down and keeps vibration and trying to restart only to shut down and do it all over again. so I am now stuck in a boot loop it seems not sure if that is accurate. I have no idea how to fix this any ideas anyone i have reflashed the latest rom twice and everything should be fine but it isnt. I am wondering what to do next I tried to flash twrp but it didnt take and also tried cf oneclick root didnt take either but odin says success and pass. I am at the end of my idea list and out of google searches no idea what to try next. So I have come to the one place i may find some help XDA. Thanks in advance
your phone partition got messed up you have to put TWRP back and then go in wipe and then you have to do file repairwhen you fix file then ran back the stock firmware which will fix bootloader
then go back install twrp and install custom rom with root

there is the list of stock firmware try them see which one works with twrp, you have to install twrp first so you can fix the problem using repair files in twrp

Befour flashing twrp make sure you uncheck Auto reboot....when it's done flashing pull your battery, put it back in the phone but don't power on....you want to boot right into recovery......then twrp will stick
