After i updated my ViperOne rom from 5.x my phone lost every vibration functionality.
I tried it with different installment methods (with and without wipe, stock kernel, bulletproof kernel etc).
Does anyone have a hint for me how to get the vibration functionality back?
Cheers

Try with few other ROMs to rule out hardware problem
Definitely try a few different ones. It could be a hardware failure. Mine didn't last long before it totally failed

Hi, I have a Captivate running Jelly Bean 4.2.1 (Slim-4.2.1.Beta.1-OFFICIAL) on a Semaphore kernel. It works perfectly when it's plugged into a computer through USB. Otherwise, it reboots into recovery, every single time it goes into standby, even when it's on a charger. I've tried raising the CPU speed, uninstalling SetCPU, re flashing the ROM, and nothing helps.
Is this a hardware issue, app issues, or does it have to do with the ROM or kernel? I had CyanogenMod 10.0 with a devil kernel running on it previously, and it did the same thing.

Have made you many any changes/mods?
Also, did you try going back to stock KK4 and reflashing the rom you want to use?
If it's recurrent on 2 different Roms, then it's most likely something you restore or some mods. Hardware issue is possible if it does it on stock.

No, I haven't really made any changes. It wasn't doing it on stock a couple days ago, before I flashed the new ROMs. I installed an App (wakelock powermanager) that keeps the cpu running. That fixes the problem but it drains the battery way too fast.
I'm trying to figure out how would be the best way to go back to stock.
Thanks

The best way to go back to stock is the one I mentioned, Odin one click KK4 (in the dev section).
Hello XDA community!
I'm a new user here and fairly new to rooting my HTC IncS.
Well anyway a few days I rooted my phone and flashed it with the latest lacoste 4.1.2 mod. All is running brilliantly except one thing.
When I first tested calling function I was told that i'm echoing and that the background noise is terrible, then I saw that noise suppression setting was off. After I turned it on everything seemed normal again.
Although today the noise and echoing was back, and the suppression was still on. I tried turning it off and it got normal again, no echo no noise.
Unfortunately during the call it got worse again, just randomly, I didn't touch the settings.
I tried searching for that problem with CM10 but seems that nobody has it, can somebody help me ?
All the best,
Erlend
Try re flashing the ROM. Or try the unofficial CM10. If this problem still persists, I guess you'll have to S-OFF and flash a different radio.

Okay, ill try reflashing it tomorrow, but if I need to flash another radio, which one to choose. Im currently running 20.74.30.0833U_3831.18.00.11_M.
Is there a newer one out there for jelly bean?
Thanks,
Erlend
Well it's more dependent on the area you're staying in. I've been using the same one since gb and I have no issues.

I just got my HTC One for AT&T two weeks ago,
rooted and installed the following
-TWRP
-SuperSU
-bulletproof Kernel/ROM
Whenever I start the camera application, the whole screen is black and the on screen buttons are greyed out.
I've tried to install a stock boot.img and reinstall the Bulletproof Kernel and the same happens.
I've tried the solutions listed on the thread to delete 3 specific files in the zip with no avail. The latest version, 1.10 is supposed to address the camera issue with a camera fix, but I tried it and its still the same.
Reference threads:
Guide I used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273376
Bulletproof thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2233665
Can anyone help please?
You're on the stock ROM?
If so, you don't need the camera fix, you need the original files. If you have a backup, restore /system and you should be good to go.

Don't have a backup, and when I'm on the stock ROM, it says "Unable to start the camera" and when I'm on Bulletproof Kernal, the camera is all blacked.
Isn't the original files the stock boot.img?
P.S. Sorry, new to this.
Try using a different kernal it might fix the problem, worked for me.

I can't put my kernel inside my HTC One's storage because it says Cannot copy item. The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected. I just factory resetted and the camera problem is still present.
Bulletproof on 4.1.2 camera issue!!!!
i am running into this exact same issue, black camera screen of death
i've tried installing all bulletproof kernals from 1.0 to 2.1
(compatable with my AT&T, android 4.1.2, sense 5)
HAS ANYONE BEEN ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY INSTALL THIS BULLETPROOF
KERNAL ON AT&T, android 4.1..2
???
if you have, please help.
which version of the kernel did you install?
what settings did you use?
maybe i'm doing something wrong, i'm somewhat new to rooting,
before i install a "new" kernel, do i have to do anything so that it overwrites the previous properly?
thanks
AJ
As Flar2 said you don't need the camera fix on stock, reflash Bulletproof and uncheck the option to apply the camera fix.
Ok, thanks, i will give it a shot.
Noob question, if im reflashing a kernel,
(Using TRWP)
Do i have to do anything special? Or will these kernels automatically overwrite?
Thanks!

I was originally 4.1.2 also...when i unlocked boot & rooted my phone. Then i installed the android revolution HD which is basically 4.2,...worked like a charm aftr i installed. Are u using TRWP? Make sure u run a backup prior (just in case) but i have had zero problems with android rev. hd

Hi, so I'm having trouble getting my NFC to turn on on both ROMs (sinless 2.2.6 and ARHD 12.1). The option is there and when I click on the option to turn it on, it goes gray as if enabling but exiting the settings app and returning, the option is left unchecked.
I did a full wipe before flashing either ROM and I get the same problem. I haven't flashed a stock version yet, as I haven't had the time. Has anyone experienced similar problems? Any solutions I can try before downloading/flashing a stock Sense ROM?
Thanks.
Im having the same problem with my note2

Is anyone else experiencing poor call quality since upgrading to 4.4.2? I can hear just fine, but the user on the other end says it is VERY quiet and I have to yell into the phone for it to sound normal. it only seems to have happened after I updated to ARHD 4.4.2. I have also tried InsertCoin's latest revision and got the same result, even after using the Aroma option to disable the noise suppressor. I'm hoping I dont have a dud.
Was it normal before you updated?
That's weird because I didn't have any such issues. Try a factory reset may be ?

No issue here
No issue at all on Skydragon 9.3
Must be your phone.
I'm on SinLessROM and all is up and running. Maybe try a GPe ROM see how it goes. Update your favorite custom recovery, full wipe and reflash. Maybe even try to update firmware. Just giving you options dude! :silly:
No such issue here, I had stock 4.4.2 now I'm MaximusHD ....both didn't have any problems

Thanks for all the replies. I tried every possible firmware/rom/reset combination - all with problems. I assume it was just coincidental I noticed it after the 4.4.2 update.
Returned it back to stock using the guides here on XDA and I have my replacement from AT&T
