Hi All. While waiting for CWM and Roms to push the Flex to its limits, I've tried to use Themer Beta.
It installs but it not let me do anything, because the Flex is not supported. I was wondering, if I edit the build.prop file to act as another phone, will Themer work? and exactly what lines of the build.prop have I to edit to do the trick? I would like to not soft brick the phone
Thanks

It does not theme everything system wide, i know personally the pitch black and hue themes did the most coloring for me like the thread says. I still got that error saying it wasn't installed even when it was as well, don't worry about it.

And cobalt does a lot of changes but odexed apks dont change much if at all. Should theme all supported deodexed apks though. And as for the popup saying to activate , it is a beta and it is old. Prolly 2 years old now. Lmao. But you work with what you got. Lmfao

If you set the "front touch buttons" to disappear when themer is launched it will work. I was seeing no supported themes then after i hid the nav bar they all popped up available for use Hope this works for someone else to

Just go into data/app. And click on the the amongst all the other downloaded apps in there. Then click uninstall. Or just delete it. Then reboot.

I don't understand why themer doesn't works. I dont have flex yet, but maybe try changing dpi settings, hiding the nav bar or things like this?

Are you a twin? I know 2 sets of twins who.are actually cousins and I bust their balls at work and make them think they are wearing pink shirts when they are red. Lol

It would probably be a lot easier to modify the color or shade of the arrows. Are there any color schemes that work for you?
Hmm.. just a color more distinct from the blue of ics. I mean, I still want it to look good. But more stand outish. not navy blue, or purple, or gray. I think those would be hardest for me to see. And I'm not sure wwhat else would go well with it.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA App
Yeah, that kinda puts me in a tough spot. I don't necessarily have an eye for color coordination and I don't know if you're fully or partially colorblind and if certain colors may work better for you than others. I'll play around with a few things and see if something seems like it would work, starting with brighter hues since I get the impression that it's the lack of contrast that's bothering you the most. In the meantime, if you have an RGB or HEX color value you'd like, it'd make things a lot easier.
Nawh I don't /: but I get the feeling a white might work. Maybe a white with a slight hue.

I just inverted the color of the arrows to white and retained the transparency level of the original arrows. Hopefully this is of use for you.
So this is a dumb question, but how do I now install this

Since its not in a flashable zip you need to push it through adb or use a root file explorer to replace it.

Which command did you use? Push or install? If you used push, you may also need to clear your cache in case the APK signature doesn't match up with the one your current ROM is using, which would cause the problem you're experiencing. Which ROM are you using?
make sure you reboot your phone too
I moved it to system/app within my phone, rebooted, and my status bar was gone

If you are rooted you can decompile your systemui.apk and delete the GPS icon from within but I think that will leave a space there when its on

It does leave a space.. I'm also looking for the icon to be removed along with the headphones icon.. I believe is a smali edit.

Was wondering if anyone is able to see emoji on their HTC One. I'm coming from Evo LTE and was able to see them on that phone, thought everyone was able to see emoji on JB devices
Sent from my HTCONE using xda premium
You see the little black emojis in the stock apps but not apple style. If you want apple style you have to download a third party sms client like Handcent.
All I see now is a square, no emoji. Didn't need second party app on Evo LTE. Is there a way to add the emoji fonts to system

Hmm I can see them on mine system wide

I would love to get rid of all this white and green! Are there any projects in the works? I have no clue how to do this or I would do it myself. I tried messing around with the apks, but I don't know what the hell I'm doing

Most of the apps you download from inside the Gear Manager App (Samsung apps) have color icons instead of the stock white icons that are used in the Gear system theme. Also, many user have rooted their Gears and are running regular Android apps on the watch. Welcome to the Gear.

The point is to ask questions on the forum so other people who have the same issues can get help as well...not set up a private IT department for yourself.
