[Q] CM 11- janice cellular data icon missing - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Flashed CM 11.0 Janice on my Galaxy S Advance. everything is working great except for the part that the icon for cellular data connectivity is missing. i mean when the data is connected there is no icon on the statusbar that shows that mobile data is connected (whether E or H)...and not even the arrows which shows upload or download. without it, its get difficult to know if the mobile data is working or not.
Is there anyway to fix this??? Is there a way these icons would shown on status bar???

Service icon won't refresh

Upon some reading of the user manual, I have decided to edit my post.
The service icon on my Tilt (shows the big E, 3G, H, etc), which also shows the wi-fi radio and whether I'm connected to a computer, has stopped refreshing itself.
After starting up, it shows the opposing arrows with an "x" indicating no service. I do have service, though. If I do anything (activate wi-fi, connect to a computer, etc), the icon changes to that, but once done, it stays there. It doesn't refresh back to the big H (or E) that should be there, nor does it go all the way back to the no service indicator.
The most recent thing I did before this happened was to try a registry tweak to remove the clock (and hopefully put up the battery meter) in PointUI Home 2. Even after undoing the tweak, the icon still doesn't work.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
If it helps have things make sense, it's the big connectivity icon, not the little service icon with the bars.
If I connect via wi-fi, when I turn off wi-fi, the icon stays the same. If I connect to a computer, when I disconnect, the icon stays the two opposing arrows. After a soft reset, I get the two broken arrows.
Regardless, I never get the E or H I used to normally have.
Help anyone?
I tried installing JUVS's Large Title Bar and while the small icon on the title bar wasn't right, the large icon for the connectivity was the large H I've been missing. I do have the small H with my signal bars, but have not had the big connectivity H icon (or E or G) for a couple weeks.
Does anyone have any clue?
Is the lack of suggestions due to things not being clear, or is everyone actually stumped?

Mobile data enable Icon

Hey guys,
I have a question, some may find weird....
Ok, with all of the data outages verizon has been having, I have decided to rely heavily on wifi connections when im at work and at home.
What I have done in Tasker:
when wifi connected ---> Mobile data turned off
when wifi disconnected ---> Mobile data turned on
Now I have tested and I know tasker is properly disabling/enablign mobile data services in the settings.
I know the clear indicator of 4g/3g on the top bar will tell u whether or not data is enabled. But if theres an outage, I have no way of knowing, other then going into settings and checking.
Does anyoen know of some kidn of app/icon that will stay on the top menu bar and indicate whether or not data is enabled (independent from whether mobile network is connected).
Thanks in advance

[Q] Data not working.

Hi all, thanks a lot to read the thread and try to help.
The thing is that even I haven't install anything nor updating any room, I have a real problem lately.
If I use WiFi my HTC works fine, but when I disconnect WiFi, even a data logo appears (H or 3G) nothing that uses data works.
I cannot use Whatsapp, Facebook even open Google on a new tab.
The arrows keep moving on my status bar, but I downloaded a data monitor and says that nothing is moving in data usage.
What can I do before I lose WiFi?
I have restored the mobile phone, a complete wipe, i'll write you soon.
Call your operator because it seems to be
A: a provider sided problem
B: a signal problem
C: hardware/software problem
If c: try to get a replacement.

Same problem, except it is intermittent. Have always had LTE service in my apartment until a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes the mobile data works, sometimes it doesn't. Full bars, shows data icon, but can NEVER download MMS, even when mobile data is working.
Any help other than call the provider?

[Q] Signal bar network type icon indicator

Hello everyone,
As the topic says my problem is that the minimalistic look of android OS 5.0.2 does not provide (me at least) a small icon near to strength bar to indicate the type of network (eg E / 3G). it only appears when i try to make my phone a hotspot for my laptop. now of course i know i have to pay for mobile internet, which i do, (and the internet works just fine on the phone), another addition would be that people might say there is no icon because where i stand there is no e/3g signal, but that's not the case because i do have
*update*
turns out:
http://prntscr.com/7ozs01
this is why i had no mobile network type indicator.. now i do have 3 questions
1. how can i make my indicator be permanent, even when i do have wi-fi connection
2. is this a Lollipop thing on every phone that runs stock android, or just motorola
3. not trying to be a prick but i noticed many people saw this thread, yet no one could answer? i mean am new to android and the only related thing i found was that image
