Force Rom 1.0 works
if you're using the Force Rom 1.0 you will have to download the HiddenMenu.apk and put it in your \system\app folder to get the ##3282# to work
works great on my Sprint S4

When using this function and I chose my preferred network as lte/cdma my phone automatically goes to gsm. Can anyone tell me why it is doing this. I have a tower with lte on my street about 1 mile away and can get lte now and then. That is why I was trying this method to try and stay connected to lte. Thanks.

Have you unlocked your sim and changed your settings at any point? It sounds like your device is defaulting to gsm and causing this headache.

I have not unlocked my SIM. Never done anything that involves the SIM card. That was a good thought though. The phone has told me that I cannot get lte because I have no SIM card before though. I read up on that. It said to clean my SIM card. I never did though. I won't if that is the problem? Thanks

We just got lte where I live. I'm on tranquility rls 2. But I also have the stock rooted rom and the same thing happens. I can't think of any other details that I can give. I'm going to pull the SIM card and clean it right now. I'll be back. Thanks

No, I got a replacement and it wouldn't get 4G at all, just 3G. Figured I'd try to toggle it like you did, same result. Turned out the UICC ID wasn't matching up with Sprint's records. They reprogrammed it or whatever they had to do and all is good now!

Yes I know it wouldn't be a good idea but I know who he is and he has been providing support for us, he is Matt the forum admin from the Moto support forum. I have my device registered with Moto so I don't believe anyone can do anything with the IMEI anyway since it isn't registered with the carrier. Thanks for looking out though I appreciate it.

unlocked bootloader for my motox on attunlocked bootloader
Hi, I am totally blind, and it's really hard to navigate these forums, I tried to send a message to zat and the other motorola employee, but my screen reader doesn't read the imbeded objects very well. I understand in general that bootloaders are not unlocked for att devices, but with the overlay, my talkback screen reader doesn't work very well, so would like to gain root, to use a different rom or remove the overlay with titanium backup. If you guys could please make an exception, I love this phone and don't want to return it, or could you guys trade me for the developer adition or some way for me to resolve this problem. My email is [email protected], and I'd really appreciate you guys allowing me to unlock my bootloader or some resolution.
Thanks:
isaac

[Q] [T-Mobile] Any way to get Google Wallet Tap & Pay to work with the GFlex?

I downloaded Google Wallet from the Play Store, but the Tap & Pay feature is greyed out. Is this due to T-Mobile pushing ISIS or is it a secure sim issue? Is there a way to make it work on T-Mobile? I used my sim from my previous phone. Should I use the one provided for this phone in the box? I'm not sure if it's one of those secure sim cards.
Does anyone else have Google Tap & Pay working on their phone?
Well, I just read that Google wallet tap and pay requires kit Kat 4.4 without a secure element or a phone with a secure element and gingerbread+.
I have a secure sim, wallet still doesnt work

The secure sim only works for Isis, Google Wallet either needs a phone with a secure element or Kit Kat.
I down loaded it from the play store , installed and it works fine. I'm T-Mobile D959 only rooted with some xposed mods and theming done to it.

It doesn't look like you've got tap to pay working though. I believe that a tap to pay tile should be above the "send money" tile.

Oh OK. Wasn't aware of that. I know on the GS4 I just came from on AT&T it wouldn't even open. Forced closed and if you went to the play store it said incompatible device so I guess I assumed since it installed and opens it works fully. My bad. Lmao didn't mean to get anybody's hopes up.

[Q] How do i accsess hidden menu on Sprint Flex LS995.

Hi everybody, i have been trying to acsess the hidden menu so i can change to LTE only mode in times when i really need a fast connection, and its very annoying going from LTE to 3G when tethering! Ive been looking for the hidden menu and cant seem to ger it open with the dialer codes, not even 3845#*995# So someone please help. Thanks!
Anybody???
Sent from my LG-LS995 using XDA Free mobile app
##3282# to edit the data profile settings to change the LTE / CDMA data info. If you have no idea what you're doing, I would suggest to not mess with anything or at least write the settings down BEFORE changing them so in case you break anything, you can revert to it. you will need your MSL. hope this helps :highfive:
From your dialpad dial 3845#*958# which ever variant you have you use those 3 numbers as the numbers 3845#*. . .# insert those numbers between the *and the last # symbol. Like for mine on T-Mobile its 3845#*959#
