##3282# to edit the data profile settings to change the LTE / CDMA data info. If you have no idea what you're doing, I would suggest to not mess with anything or at least write the settings down BEFORE changing them so in case you break anything, you can revert to it. you will need your MSL. hope this helps :highfive:
From your dialpad dial 3845#*958# which ever variant you have you use those 3 numbers as the numbers 3845#*. . .# insert those numbers between the *and the last # symbol. Like for mine on T-Mobile its 3845#*959#

Hey guys, so after a week or so on Nocturnal's GE Rom, my phone stopped getting service. I would still get 4G, but no bars. I did an RUU to see if that would fix the issue, but no luck. I'm stuck here guys, I need this phone for work and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I updated the PRL as my first attempt at fixing it. And how would I go about asking Sprint for one?
I don't know if this helps, but this is what about>network looks like.
Can you check your APN?
For some reason mine is blanked out.

Just tell sprint via chat that you aren't getting service. Tell them your imei ID and ask them to reactivate your phone via a service update.

APN?
Access Point Name. Though I heard Sprint isn't allowing its locked phones to change that.
Click on Settings -> Mobile Data. It'll be at the bottom. Though it'll be blanked out. Just ask Sprint to reactivate your phone or something.

i think you can get an app called apn shortcut from the market, it will let you access the apn settings, at least it used to on sense roms.

Just tried, no dice.
Did you try hitting "activate this device" in settings? Being you already have it registered with sprint, that should work

That doesn't work because there's no network available to contact sprint.
Do you have wifi? Maybe connecting to that then hitting activate device will work

If you look at the picture I posted earlier in the thread, you'll see what phone identity says.
Check IMSI as well. You have picture of network, not phone idenity
EDIT: Best not to post it because it shows your phone number and meid and you don't want that pubic, just look at it.

I'm sorry, my mistake. The phone number is unknown.
Ok so it has to be put back in. That and the IMSI otherwise it won't work

Is there any possible way I can do that myself? Or does it have to be done at a Sprint store?
So today my HTC one suddenly won't connect to mobile data at all. Unrooted, never dropped, etc. I have been driving myself crazy for the past 6 hours trying to come up with a solution. Any ideas? I'm not sure if the sprint store is open here in town on Sunday or not. I'm not a happy camper at all.
And you tried a update profile and pro update?

Yay!
Yeah, being able to force certain bands is a handy feature.
In case you have not had the solution to this posted to you. ## 72786# in your dialer. Once in the epst menu select the menu pull down and select restore. This is a hands free activation. THIS WILL NOT RESET YOUR PHONE. ONLY YOUR ACCOUNT TO THE NETWORK

The prior coding you used may only restore partially your network speeds. If your still experiencing slow connection, delayed mms / sms sending you've only partly fixed the issue.

I have a similar issue, x for the service, no MIN# no phone number. I have tried multiple roms and backups to no avail, pulling and reinserting the SIM card.

I've lost the option for roaming and many other settings that I am unable to click on. My phone lost service back around August 3rd and hasn't had any since Now that more folks are working with this phone, maybe a fix will be found.
Take it to Sprint, lol, they fixed mine when I had this issue, works better than it ever has now.

I'm not a sprint customer, I flashed my phone to page plus. Maybe I'll have to contact the HTC main company for warranty.

I'm using the cdma side with page plus and have tried several different sims hoping it would work, but it never. Do you have any suggestions? I should still get service of some sort without a sim card, I believe, especially having the radio set to cdma only.

When using this function and I chose my preferred network as lte/cdma my phone automatically goes to gsm. Can anyone tell me why it is doing this. I have a tower with lte on my street about 1 mile away and can get lte now and then. That is why I was trying this method to try and stay connected to lte. Thanks.

Have you unlocked your sim and changed your settings at any point? It sounds like your device is defaulting to gsm and causing this headache.

I have not unlocked my SIM. Never done anything that involves the SIM card. That was a good thought though. The phone has told me that I cannot get lte because I have no SIM card before though. I read up on that. It said to clean my SIM card. I never did though. I won't if that is the problem? Thanks

No, I got a replacement and it wouldn't get 4G at all, just 3G. Figured I'd try to toggle it like you did, same result. Turned out the UICC ID wasn't matching up with Sprint's records. They reprogrammed it or whatever they had to do and all is good now!
Hey yall i have an lg g flex version ls995 rooted and working fine but my download speed are really slow when on 3g and the LTE signal gets lost so easily. Are there any tweaks that i can do to the build.prop so that my data download speeds and connection are more faster and reliable? this question doesn't necessarily has to end with the build.prop, if any of you have any type of suggestions like tweaks, hack, mods or apps that will improve my 3G/LTE connection or data speeds please share
You might not be near a good tower. Just in case you can change your network setting by choosing wcdma/lte only. Either by going into the secret menu or via the regular network settings menu.
