What This Means - Open Your Duos Stock Deodexed ROM In One Window And In Another Window The ROM Of Galaxy Y You Want To Port.
Just Drag And And Drop Files From Galaxy Y Duos ROM To Galaxy Y ROM (You Port).
(If This Procedure Works With Other Devices Than Reply Must!!!).
Note : Every Changes With Stock Deodexed ROM. Few Changes Done with Stock Odex ROM.
Where To Make Changes. Change in These Folders/Files In System Which I Write.

Download iduos1.3.1 Kernel
Unpack It Add Boot.img From Here To Galaxy Y Rom. That You Port To Galaxy Y Duos
-----------> You Done.
-----------> Repack The Zip
-----------> And Flash With The Same Procedure Which Comes With Galaxy Y ROM.

If you are porting a single sim rom than it only detect 1 sim only not 2nd sim and add csc file of arabic like INU , NPL and other

1st of all u dont have to do nothing with framework folder leave it becoz galaxy y and duos framework files has some different. and dont take files from here and there .take this and this file to port rom or u got a bootloop i also use my own procedure and ported hyperion 8,jellyblast , nemsis and other but i didnt give u.
just follow the above link and dont do anything hurry.

only 1 sim work beciz u port a single sim rom or making single sim to dual sim not possible (if ur going to change than it takes more changes and editings)

i am porting jellyblastv3 and i tried 3 times.
1st time with no framework folder -->>stuck at yduos logo
2nd time with jellyblast(sgy) framework files -->>booted but sim not working.NO SIGNAL.(HELP)
3rd time with stock deodexed (yduos) framework files -->>bootloop(tried wiping data cache..but no luck)

Hi, this is a script for converting the Deodexed firmware to Odex Structure.
This script is created by Me , ported from vLad's work & mixed TearsDontFalls work for useable for galaxy not.
This is for Samsung Galaxy note & maybe s2(if you test for s2 p.m me) Official Firmwares.
Instruction:
be sure your phone is rooted and The Java Runtime packages is installed on your pc
1: Download The Attachment and Extract it to your PC.
2: Put your phone into USB Debug mode or reboot into recovery and mount system

Settings > Application > Development
Enable The USB debugging mod
3: Connect The USB Cable into your phone
4: Run the

odex.cmd
file from downloaded attachment.
5: Your phone will start the Odex Converting and also will Zip_align all applications.

Odexed is known and proven to be more smooth, fast and less RAM-eating then a De-odexed Rom.
The disavantage is that your Rom will become less easy to customize...

1- open init.rc with notpad ++ and get line BOOTCLASSPATH.
2- replace this line into odex.sh in odexer package
3- next line in odex.sh edit with all jar BOOTCLASSPATH and save
4- for any apk in app folder if get error moved this file to oder folder and finish re-odex callback this file.

The FM rado in the ROM only works at 120 resolution. So, replace it with the fm radio apk of your device before setting the correct resolution.
Figure out other changes by yourself!

The images wouldn't look very good in our device as jelly blast comes optimized for the low resolution screen.
I'm planning on grabbing the next firmware released (probably XXLI2) and creating a nice clean ROM from scratch, theming it towards a jelly bean/jelly-blast feel. But it depends on how long it takes for samsung to release that firmware.

Take the DialerrTabActivity.apk from another rom extract it with apk manager then zip it and resign it it should work.
If you want to make the original DialerTabActivity work you should extract it and change ldpi in the directories names to mdpi.but there is a problem with the pngs they are small.

I found a problem with the menu button in Wifi settings and Messaging, when I press the menu button it forces to close.
Adb says: E/AndroidRuntime( 3780): android.content.res.Resources$NotFoundException: File r

Checked in framework-res.apk but the file exists.
Any help would be appreciated
Edit: Fixed by changing the icon address from wifisettings.smali to the one in public.xml from Framework-res.apk.I have to do it also for Messaging and for apn.

I didn't add the kernel to the rom.Try to delete the files boot.img and bmlunlock and update the updater-script.

I was wondering if this would work in our mini , in the comments the themer said that it won´t work on cm7 it only work on the stock bases custom roms for galaxy Y , So MAYBE it could work in a sotck base custom rom for our galaxy mini. Obviously i didnt try to flash it but maybe copying ONLY some apps (contacts and phone are great and enough for me ) to system/app it might work.
I tried but it didn´t work maybe i did something wrong or i didn´t gave the right permissions or maybe it only work it you flash it with the rom and not replacing the apk
I open this thread for any idea to make it work , not the complete theme, but some apps at least.(System ui and framework-res i dont think will work)

actually it works my friends the phone, mms,calendar, contacts apk work on any custom stock based ROM. just dont flash push the apks to system and they will work.

Then First for my info go to see with a root browser like root explorer in system/app if you see SamsungSans.apk and report me this info.
If there is no SamsungSans.apk try to download my apk and install it (perhaps need to autorize unknow source in settings/security).
If install ok Go to Settings / Display / Font and see if font list is update , then select font you want and apply...
Do you have custom recovery ?

I don't have the samsung apk in that location. I have custom recovery and installed the zip. It didn't make any difference. Let me try to install the apk and try it again.

I have a SamsungSans.apk in system/app and prem is set to 0644 but I dont have any new font in my font list !

Hummm strange , check the size of the apk , original is about 250ko and mine is approx 48mo ...
Can you remove SamsungSans.apk in system/app then reboot in recovery and flash zip edition
Then check if better

By the way!!! I'm using Note 3...
I'm on a sprint note 3 running lollipop 5.0 and it works great. I downloaded the apk by the way.
This should also work on kitkat , if you have twrp flashzip it will replace existent apk in system/app , after reboot you should access to all font in your flipfont section
